DU Battery Saver - Power Saver

This app is very helpful. Only four stars because it doesn't seem possible to edit modes. I want to delete two of the modes that came with the app and one that I created but no longer use. I can only figure out how to add more modes. So, to clean up the modes, I believe I have to uninstall the app and start over (and that will only let me get rid of the uneanted mode I created).

Maybe it optimizes my battery, maybe it doesn't... but what it canNOT do is start playing video ads when I plug it in!!!! What the hell?? I plug it in and I start hearing two gnus (the animals) discussing... auto insurance?? I am not even sure. I was livid. I've had this app on my phone for many months, but man, it is gone now. An app that on its own starts playing an audio advertisement when I plug my phone in is INTRUSIVE in the EXTREME. Maybe the developrs will fix this, maybe they won't. I guess we will see. Unbelievable.

Very helpful if you want to prolong or increase the battery life of your phone. The app does this by killing background apps and games you are not using. Moreover, I also love the additional trash cleaner feature of the app. However, there are too many unnecessary notifications especially on the trash cleaner. These notifications are also very INACCURATE (e.g. notification says you have 1.5 GB of trash but while scanning for trashes, it's only 500 MB).

Overall this app does what it says, my battery certainly lasted longer on this app then some others... BUT, It made my phone less responsive and jittery. And the onslaught of Ads produced by this app was a bit ridiculous! It's nice that some of the advanced features could be unlocked by clicking on ads and installing different apps, but at the end of the day it just sours the whole experience to be constantly adwared! Going back to Greenify or Avast battery which do a good job of extending battery life without reducing performance or being ad machines.....

It made things lot easier and i don't have to worry running out of battery too quick at all. Why 4 stars? because when my phone charges and i try to open it, it starts shifting between the lock screen and the "fast charging" screen non stop. Every time i have to unplug it first and than open my phone to prevent it, but its too annoying to deal with. One more thing, the app crashes every time when i restart my phone and goes crazy with messages about it, it was unstable.

When I first used this app, my phone use to last at least 3 to 4 days max. However overtime with newer updates, that started changing & my phone's battery not only lasted less days everytime but my phone started to slow down, making it impossible to use, even with restarting my phone. My phone's battery only lasted a day or less & I've done everything with the app, but it still didn't solve any of my issues. Today I've completely uninstalled, it since it doesn't do the job like it did when I first started using it. You better off downloading a different app. Don't waste your time downloading this, its not worth it.

This has definitely improved my devices battery life. Function is great. The interface could be cleaner and more intuitive. The amount of ads is alright. Like most free battery saver apps it does try to get you to install other apps by the developer but not in an intrusive manner.

Quite obnoxious. great for people who love random alerts going off for no reason at all hours of the night. Maybe they could squeeze in a few more ads as well, 500 just doesn't seem like enough. If you are easily distracted by shiny objects, this is definitely the app for you! Uninstalling now.

I used it a lot on my samsung s5, but I barely ever click on it on my s8. I feel like it helped the older phone but not the new ones. It also constantly auto starts itself and runs in the background and I get notifications that the app is draining the battery. It's alright, but Samsungs come with their own optimizing tool now so I feel its obsolete.

Garbage which does nothing. It kept telling me it was saving me battery time, but battery drained faster than ever. Every time it did an optimization it would pull up a screen of suggestions to improve performance, but it was just a list of ads and suggestions for other apps. The app also automatically open my FB app with a suggested posting to recommend the app to my friends. Stay away from this app!

Used to be simple and straight forward with no adds. You could upgrade at a small cost for extra features to save more battery. Now it's overloaded with adds and wants you to install a buttload of extra bloatware, I went back to Norton Clean after realizing how botched this new version of DU is. I would have loved to write a positive review, used to be great...

The app works somewhat good, HOWEVER, several features are locked. To unlock them, there is an ad where you have to download another app to unlock that feature. But, if you do the download for the advertised app, the feature NEVER unlocks. I tried many times, and it never works.

It's a great app. People like me love to check the graph of my power usage from time to time, and previously, it did a great job there. This updated version, however, deletes your graph when you restart your phone. I'll like you to correct that. Have my regards.

It actually works alot better then the battery saver on my phone. Its getting a 4⭐ review because when it cleans all of the junk and frees up space I cant use the saved memory to download any more apps. I also dont see how my phone gets 42 hour battery life on a full charge but it does extend it further then what I usually have. All and all it is a great app :)

I installed this to test it's capabilities to fix the battery draining issue for z5 on a nougat. Surprisingly, the battery draining issue was resolved when the phone is idling. As compared to without this app, the phone would lose 1% battery every few mins. The only thing I hope for this app is to have a pro version to disable advertisements. Other than that, it's definitely a worthwhile app to install especially with phone with battery draining issue.

It's a good battery saver just that the times sometimes fail. For example I optimized it and it said that I have 32 hours of stand by time an hour later I check and it said that I have 26 hours left. But in general it's a good app that closes all those unnecessary background apps.

I was using the old DU battery saver pro, which worked well until it mysteriously stopped working. I installed this and it works very well but the notifications are bothersome. However the main reason I didn't give it 5 stars is way too many ads. I am willing to pay for an ad free version, so why not offer it?

i like the app i wish it would come up in a section where you can run it whenever you want to not just when it pops up and tells you. like it runs on its own every hour automatically for optimization of ur phone. But you still get the choice of when to run it.

This latest version is a pure waist of time! First, the "DU Battery Saver" constantly request that "YOU" action a request it displays for cleaning your phone or tablet. It does the same for other requirements. In my opinion, the saver should be automatically performing any tasks without you constantly opening the app. Furthermore, after you complete the task it requests you to do, an advertisement shows up!... "WAY TOO ANNOYING!"...

This app has started misbehaving. It gets stucked at "FULL CHARGE ONGOING" for hours. I had uninstall and reinstall, thinking it would be back to normal, yet it's still the same. It was not like this before, this only started three days ago. If there's anything U guys can do about it, maybe it's a bug or something, please do. If not I'll uninstall it completely, because it's basically not useful now, it's been stuck on full charge ongoing for more than 3 hours now I have been charging my phone

Keeps bugging me to clean up my storage. Every day I watch it "clean" my storage just to have it ask me the next day. No option to turn off that feature. Also very intrusive. App should run in the background until you open it. Not show pop ups all the time.

I have been using this app for months now. It seems like it works, but I can't be sure. There is no noticable battery saving benefit. It keeps cleaning the same junk files over and over with no difference. I only keep using this app because I like the placebo effect it gives me. Thats all.

since downloading this useless app on my phone im being inundated with adds. when I open anything an add pops up, even my messages and before I make a call. it is really frustrating and would like it fixed. I have unstalled the app but the adds are still happening. please help me I'm not sure what to do. Thanks

WAS one of the top 2 Battery Savers. Great graphics but too much silly animation wastes time and lots of RAM to clean and boost! Too many annoying notifications. *Warning* This app heats up your cell a lot=bad! Lastly they broke away Auto features to make you install multiple apps..Good bye!

App has potential but developers constantly advertise other apps. you can't access any of the features without some irritating thing popping up afterwards asking you to look at something else.. its too much. App tries to do too much.. why do i need a clean sweep offering.. Just want a simple battery status app....uninstalled.

DU BATTERY is very useful! It keeps my usage time longer while keeping the CPU cooler. It shuts down apps that I'm not using or don't need. It has given me that extra few minutes, when I was in an emergency situation!

I like this app but pop-up notification keeps popping up and I missed my alarm in the morning almost everyday. I set up a no disturb and turn off all notifications from the app and it doesn't seem to work. PLEASE fix it, your app might ruined some life who on their phone to wake them up.

Whatever you do, do NOT download this app! 1. There is WAY too many ads 2. Although it claims to cear cache and clean your phone, it doesnt do that at ALL. I try and clear cache and cool down my phone , but nothing changes. No difference, no extra space, nothing at all. 3. And finally, I've seen enough to know that all this app does is drain your battery. Dont download it, just don't.

Hi DU team. I found an issue in lg g5 marshmallow UI that "Advanced Saving" short cut in home, when i touched it and when it optimizing...middle of the optimizing process it crashed. Then after clicking it again it shows nothing to optimize. Please fix thise issue in future updates thank you.
