I usually use the app to place pick-up orders, but also ended up getting a virtual DD card so I could earn points. But so far I haven't gotten any points after using the app for a whole month. I can't use the DD card for pick-up orders since it asks for the full number and PIN (which virtual cards don't have), and when I have it scanned in-store I still don't get any points. I want to use this app for the convenience but it's so glitchy, and none of the past updates have fixed any issues.
This app SHOULD make things run smoother n faster. However, I have yet to have a Correct order. If ordered thru app they don't tell you if an item is out of stock... Neither do the associates. They either substitute without saying Anything or just leave the item Off n Not say Anything... they DON'T update account either. I try to be more patient n understanding, but They sure could use a better way to notify or not let order if item is out.
This app will let you order and pay for items that are not even available at the store. Twice ive went to pick up my order and instead was met with an employee telling me that they dint have the item that I ordered (and PAID for). If the item isnt there, I shouldnt be able to order or pay for it. Not happy at all. They are trying so hard to be starbucks but they definitely fall short on all aspects.
more frustrating than convenient, when it works, it's fine but after each update it freezes up more often, kicks you off and you have to sign back in, I have lost more points than gained them because this app freezes every other time I try to open it...not worth the effort!
App doesn't send order to stores, doesn't check to make sure what you ordered is available. Every time I have ordered through the app, I get to the store only to find out my order didn't print out, and at least one item isn't available, meaning I either have to pick something else, or go though the hassle of getting a refund. Avoid ordering through the app, it is useless.
It's wonderful to be able to order ahead and receive rewards for doing so, who wouldnt love that?! Edit: 2 times now I've ordered ahead the "blueberry mocha cold foam" when I get there the cashier says thats not how it is ringing up on their end (no cold foam) but on my end it is, maybe a glitch? It be great if this glitch could be fixed, thanks I use this app almost everyday now. Edit: the glitch also wont let me order certain flavor shots together and limits me on them which i little annoying.
Intuitive, easy to use, opens quickly (when you're on line and realize "I should use my app for this purchase" - but don't because the app takes 30 seconds to load (which feels like 5 minutes when people are waiting) - this one opens in like 3 seconds!). Honestly - more "loyalty" programs should consider their app load time - nit sure if Dunkin did - but - I hope they never Bloat the app...thanks for making bit easy to use!
Much improved! BIG SUGGESTION = I would love to be able to set my favorites (in the settings screen) without having to order those items first. Than have the app open right to the favorite screen - large icons so you can see them while at a red light - tap a favorite icon, tap order and be on your way!
App was fine until the recent updates. It made me purchase a dunks card which I loaded with a decent amount of money to buy my coworkers drinks. Since the update, I haven't been able to order once. I'm logged in but it tries to cash me out as a guest. It asks for my Dunkin donuts card number, which I can't find anywhere. And if I try to use Google pay or credit card, I just get errors. And the virtual assistant doesn't even work!
Gift card funds on app were used fraudulently in another state, multiple times, and reloaded. Customer service keeps elevating me to the "higher level" and after taking my case number, the call is mysteriously disconnected. Don't use this app and definitely don't use the auto reload function! There was already a class action lawsuit in which they were fined, but its possible the issue continues to persist based on my experience.
I encountered several issues signing into this app. Upon every sign in attempt, it prompts me to verify my phone number. After receiving the code, I entered it and was told it was invalid. Overall a frustrating experience.
App doesn't work! I've tried for over a month to make orders on this app on several different occasions and it tells me the same thing everytime! They are having technical problems! I can't add my debit card or make app purchases ever!
The App Needs some revisions. The option to cancel order at least within the 1st minute of placing it. Also a option to leave a note for my order. There is no option to add extras as jelly with your order. Thank you
This app is amazing! I love it! I place my order and pick it up through the drive thru. No need to exchange money because you just reload a Dunkin Card on file and your order is automatically deducted. Fast and easy service!
The app is very easy to use & store favorite orders for you to reorder. My only problem is the only "reward" is a free drink after certain amount of points. Wish it was more rewards towards the food or something like that.
Sign in. Submit order. Haven't been able to login to the app since. My orders submitted, but I can't check the status. I deleted the app and installed it again. It just loads. I enabled the fingerprint lock and tried again. The app loaded a bit, then asked for my fingerprint. Loaded a bit more, then asked for my fingerprint, again. And it happened like that one more time before I came here. I still have to find a way to access the account because I need to know when my order is ready for pickup.
When the app works, it's great. Unfortunately, that has not been the case for the last several months. When I place a mobile order at my "regular" DD on my way to work, 75% of the time it doesn't work. And then only after I log out & log in again or uninstall/re-install the app. Even that doesn't work most of the time. I'm fed up with it.
Most time the app isn't operational. It randomly logs me out, doesn't give me a new points after being scanned at the store, or gets stuck on the white page that running "Dunkin" page. Please update the app every month to avoid these issues!
Awful app that barely functions at the best of times. Can't even save day ahead orders and even worse they can't even be bothered to make sure the phone numbers are functioning. Just save the memory space on your phone and go in person
The only complaint I have about this app is I always go through the drive-thru and I order a large frozen coffee with a shot of espresso and there is no option in this app to add a shot of expresso, so I have to order through the app then go through the drive-thru and tell them I want a shot of expresso added and then they have to remake the whole entire thing, I don't mind waiting but that sure is a whole heck of a lot of wasted ingredients on Dunkin' donuts part
Shows pictures of the new products, but when you click on them, you can't actually order them. Keeps making me enter my debit card over, I have tripled checked and it's correct. My bank says it can see dunkin donuts trying to authorize the payment but it won't go through. Billion dollar coffee company can't make a usable app. What a joke.
I had previously rated this app with only one star because there was no way to merge gift cards into a total balance and it was a pain to keep swapping between cards in the app. I want to give a big thank you to the development team who has since fixed this issue and added that feature. I just added a new Duncan gift card and was able to merge it to my primary balance. It worked great. Thanks for being a caring company.
