Easy Speak - AAC Soundboard

Easy Speak is a simple augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) soundboard and was created primarily for Stroke patients, some spectrum ranges of Autism, or anyone who is nonverbal but has an understanding of the English language and has the ability to see and touch the buttons on the screen.
How to use Easy Speak:It’s easy! Simply click the buttons and Easy Speak will say what you clicked. You can create thousands of complex sentences with the predefined words that cover a variety of daily tasks like using the bathroom, eating, taking a bath, and going to bed.

With Easy Speak, the user clicks the on screen buttons and your device will say that word or phrase. specific words are color coded to make finding crucial words easier to help the user increase their speed completing sentences.

Type and Speak:Easy Speak also includes a text to speech area where the user the click on the bottom text box that says ’Enter text…’. This allows them to type ANYTHING they want and Easy Speak will say it back in clear english using text to speech technologies!

Central panel:What sets Easy Speak apart from other AAC's are two things. Easy Speak uses the Sound Board approach with predefined words that wrap around the screen and are always there as the user navigates through the context specific Panels. The Panel is in the center of the screen and is colored blue to separate it from the other buttons. This panel approach has folders with key things like Food, Bath and Bed Time activities, ect. that the user selects to bring up relevant words and phrases for that activity.
