I use many delivery apps, and this one falls short. The orders I make with Eat24 just never work out quite right. There's always some food missing, or an issue with the driver. Customer service is non-existent. The order status doesn't update like it does on other apps. There's no apparent way to change your email address. Payment has bugs. I tried to add my credit card 4 times and it didn't work. If for some reason the restaurant doesn't accept your order, the app still charges you and you have to wait days for the charge to be reversed. Garbage app. Incredibly disappointed. I've been burned by this app too many times and have never had these issues with any of the other numerous delivery options.
They removed delivery fee from list of restaurants. You spend so much time filling the cart then end up not ordering because there's a large fee that you can't see until checkout. You can have your order delivered by Amazon in the time it takes to find a place that doesn't charge an arm and a leg for delivery on Eat24.
Can't map the delivery of last order. Delivery fees of some restaurants are very high. Needs to add a variety of more nearest restaurants. I like the ease of use and navigation in the app. Overall, I'm satisfied and it's a pretty cool app. Thanks.
terrible app. menu are not free of text overflow. looks like they did not set up for all screen sizes. some fees are higher than hiring uber driver to drop you off and take you back. menu for burger king and other joints do not have combos. what the heck is this app? its terrible.
I've only had one bad experience and my food was cold and everything about that specific order including delivery time and and driver was extremely off in every way. other than that it's a good app if you want to eat in.
One of the best ways of ordering food! Many times there is no delivery fee and the app offers a tip option. Being a delivery driver many people don't tip but I try to always tip a $3 minimum depending on the size of the order.
Wow the latest update as of Oct 4 2018 has made the UI terrible. They removed filtering within restaurants and the ability to select multiple cuisines. Removing UI elements for search is very unintuitive for a food searching app.
If they had more restaurant options in my area instead of just one I would give a better rating. There are a bunch of different restaurants not that far from me which I could drive but I can't because I am physically disabled and loved that they have companies like these to use but sad that they don't have many restaurants to select from.
Will not allow correct zip code to be added! Due to that, debit card was charged twice. I waited for 2 hours for my order just to find out it had been blocked. No one called to noyify me. I had to call! Almostto speak with a many about the situation! The absolute worst delivery. Will definitely take my business to DoorDash than this company!!
Great App and if there are any problems you can actually call and talk to somebody. They take only what is needed no extra fees and the food comes just as regular delivery the only that I I liked before was it use to ask cash or credit now it automatically makes you do credit
I've used this app for about 6 months out of the 6 months that I've used it I've had to call in twice and cancel my orders because it had taken over two hours for my food to get here and it still wasn't there. I've even called the restaurant and they told me my food was just sitting there waiting for a GrubHub driver to come and pick it up. I use only during the day between the hours of 2 and 7 I wouldn't recommend using them otherwise
Constant canceled orders. Customer service doesn't try to fix problem, and doesn't care about you, they'll straight up hang up on you. Honestly this service is bad and we've tried very hard to like it.
Never finishes an order. Doesn't save my payment info, unexpected errors happen after entering it in again then once that finally works unexpected errors happen at the address screen. Useless, have to go on their website to order.
Generally okay. But I did have my worst experience -using various food delivery apps-- when Eat24, after confirming the receipt of my reorder by the restaurant, never even attempted to contact me -- whether by text or phone --to let me know that the restaurant was "currently CLOSED" and (of course) could not have received my order!! And I only learned this when, 90 minutes after order had been confirmed and 30 minutes after promised delivery time, I called Eat24's "customer service" # (an oxymoronic experience worse even than learning my confirmed order was somewhere in the ether).
I would have given zero star if I could. The restaurant said they stopped taking order from this app when I went their to pick it up. But app didn't indicate that the restaurant wasn't available to order from their platform.
When Seamless went downhill, I started using this app. The estimates for food delivery have been extremely accurate, the food order was always correct, and the orders were always delivered.
Once upon a time, i ordered food exclusively through Eat24. They were an inexpensive and entertaining way to discover and order food from around me. That didn't change when Yelp bought them, and i ordered from them for years. Now they're owned by GrubHub, the app is identical to theirs, the sense of humor and weekly coupons went away, and worst of all, expensive. ($10 delivery charge on my last $20 order.) GrubHub destroyed everything i loved about Eat24, and I'm saying goodbye.
Never can place an order. Always get the message "something went wrong try again". Retry the order.. it will say it has been sent to the restaurant but after contacting the restaurants we learn they actually never received any orders. Never have been able to place an order with eat 24 or with the GrubHub that powers eat 24.
horrible customer service and driver service. driver failed to leave theor car to deliver food. was then sent promo codes. had to reorder my food. no they refuse to refund my money for the first order. josh and kerone were of NO HELP!!!!! all they did was talk in circles. this is why i deleted grubhub, guess they are both terrible apps. i will be giving my money to another app.
Communication is near impossible to make without calling. No simple fixes. Overall not a lot of problems, but eventually something goes wrong.
I had a few really bad experiences with this app the last time I waited for 3 hours for the dinner when I called to the restaurant the came out with a stupid excuse and they say that I call to cancel the order when that never happened so at the end after 3 hours waiting no dinner I was really ashamed with my guests. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!
Well since I dont cook, I rely on eating out. Very convenient and I love the daily/first timer deals they have. Keep that going, especially the daily ones 🤙😊
Had them fail to deliver three times in one night. Once was due to their driver never picking up order, second was restaurant with hours incorrectly listed, and third just never showed. They still have yet to refund me charges for all three.
Service has really gone downhill, and it's bottomed out now. Sometimes you'll order and it will be cancelled because "outside of delivery area" (Don't let me order it then!). 3-5 business days for your refund to go through. Also consistently fails to deliver the entire order. offers a refund on the missing items and tells you to reorder, but you can because now you don't hot the delivery minimum. Oh, and coupons are emailed codes rather than just applied to your account. So you forget!
