eBay - Buy, Sell & Save Money

Slow & Buggy. This app becomes more and more slow, to the point where it will eventually become unusable. Images take ages to load, so any page with images hangs & hangs with a spinning icon while images load at a snail's pace. Obviously every part of the app is reliant on images, so it is slow every step of the way, regardless of which section you are using. It doesn't matter which version of the app you use, the underlying issue is the speed at which the content is delivered.

Honestly this app is terrible. Very unintuitive UI, when looking at a listing it's way more difficult then it should be to change shipping addresses so that you can see differences in price when shipping to alternate addresses. And it may as well not have notifications at all. I've enabled notifications so that I can be reminded of things on my watch list I want to bid on when they're getting close to finishing. 9/10 times it doesn't make a sound, even when open. Horrible app overall.

It's an amazing app. But recently, lists and pages have not been updating as if I have a slow connection and I thought it was my phone and as I'm not getting the same problem on my Android tablet (which is why I'm still giving it 4*), I've cleared the cache, uninstalled and reinstalled but it still is buggy. This is clearly a problem a lot of users are experiencing on their mobiles, so this is something the devs need to address rather urgently (please).

Used for 4 years. One of the best mobile apps. Different than the browser interface. Self-explanatory and intuitive. Buying, postage labels, notifications, feedback, purchase history, sold items, list new items, get help, all selling functionality and search. Search hits are a subset of what you'll see with the web interface (browser). So, you might not get the best deal. But you don't need to log in after the first use. It does what I need.

Something changed with the search results (webpage too, not just app). I used to be able to view all the results. Now, like on ebay motors, you have to be very specific to see anything. I want to see what's out there, not be force to search for one specific thing. eBay has kinda lost it's appeal after whatever update/change was made. 😕

I don't know what happened with the switch to the new view count system, but I have several listings that are staying on Zero views. I've tried everything I can think of but it's still not getting me views, even though they are comparable with all my other listings (same brands, etc). It's very discouraging, and there has been a noticeable decline in my overall sales.

I list DAILY on this app. It has been horrible lately with freezing even with perfect service. I can stream a movie, but updating shipping info is too much for the app to handle. You will fill out an entire listing, then when it won't post you save it as a draft. When you open the draft NOTHING saved except maybe the first picture you uploaded. Who wants to do work over and over and over ad nauseam? Please fix this app so it keeps an active connection as you fill out fields.

Something is definitely wrong with this app. I'm a long time buyer on ebay. Since the last update, everytime I look up an item it only shows that item, no longer any "more like this" options or other related listings. That was the best part about ebay. It gave the option of getting the best deal on items. Whatever glitch this is needs to be addressed and fixed. Makes me not even want to get on here anymore. You click on an item to see multiple choices for the cheapest deal. It's not working.

Very bad experience. The system keeps glitching and will not allow me to pay for my purchases no matter what tender I am paying with. This has happened multiple times in a 6 week. I usually have to call five or six times to get it straightened out. Honestly it's inconsistent and embarrassing when you commit to purchasing something from someone and you can't pay the bill !

Ever since the update, the seller side of the app is broken. It freezes, loads nonstop, and loses info on items when you save them as drafts. You can spend 10-30 minutes taking pics, writing descriptions, choosing info, and then lose it all. I've been using the app to sell for YEARS, and never had trouble. This is a nightmare. Please fix.

The buggiest damn thing. It is way better to use eBay in a desktop browser. It constantly has hang ups that require me to restart the whole thing, or it doesn't save a setting I just changed. Really a mess from a selling perspective. Not that the browser version is great. It won't let me schedule listings no matter what I do.

App has been having issues with listing items for around the past 4 days or so. When creating a new listing the app lags at either entering price or when clicking "list item". A circle appears loading and just spins. Have tried multiple things like uninstalling the app, restarting device. Still issue remains. Reached out via chat for help and issue still remains. This is making listing an item take 100 times longer than it should. Needs fixed asap.

Since the last bunch of updates, the app frequently crashes when trying to create or edit listings. Frequently doesn't save drafts in updated states, cannot turn off Auction functions when trying to use BIN feature, can't update shipping methods when app is glitched. Doesn't save photos, app deleted photos from my phone using its "allowed access". It's usability on Android phones is just pathetic and I'm using a Samsung A52.

This app has not worked right for selling items since 2 updates ago,if I try loading pics to my ad or write out the ad it does not work. It says it saved the draft but all the info you just entered is gone and you have to start over. Have been selling on here for a few years, and I am very disappointed with this problem. I tried contacting Ebay but there automated system was no help. Please fix this issue so I can keep my store open and full of products for my customers.

Listing an item as a seller isn't working since the update. The circle keeps spinning and won't list the item. Pushing the back button is the only way to make it stop. Your photos won't be uploaded to the draft, so I have to transfer them to my computer to finish the listing and post the item. Extremely frustrating and crippling as a seller. Please fix!! Thanks!

I love ebay and use it daily. But recently i keep encountering an issue where the confirm button for bids doesn't show up. I can review the bid but once i get to the page where i confirm it its just not on screen. This makes things almost impossible to buy, especially as i always in the last 5 seconds. This is a huge issue and an update is needed to amend it.

Since the most recent update I'm having issues listing my items! I go thru the process of taking pics, title, description etc. Get to the bottom to either list item or save for later and it just 'spins.' The only thing it'll let me do is back out & it says saved as a draft! Go in and only 3 photos (out of 12) are there. Literally takes me 1-3 hours to get one item listed! It's frustrating and unacceptable. You make millions off of seller's, the least you could do is FIX YOUR APP!!!

Takes several attempts to list any items, when you confirm to list, you just get the spinning circle, which even after a minute or 2, still just spins endlessly. Then another issue is that when listing a postal cost, it doesn't update it and then you just keep constantly have to try listing your item, only for it to once again become a draft.... Infuriating!!!!

Can't list anything in the latest update. Constantly hangs up with loading listing details. I'll select a different shipping service, and the app will freeze as if loading for five minutes. I'll close the app, and any changes made are lost. I know it's not my internet connection, I'm not an idiot. It's the computer scientists they hire for 30k a year not coding properly. That, or it's the engineers not having enough money for a proper server connection, bottlenecking user access. Fix your app.

I have absolutely no clue what they did, but the app is BROKEN. All of my saved searches when clicked give me 'There was an internal error. Try restarting the app.' EVERY. DAMN. TIME. I've restarted the app, force closed it, uninstalled and reinstalled it, and NOTHING WORKS. EBay, it really shouldn't be this difficult. Wth are you guys doing.

The app is good but the auctions are rigged. The best way I can explain it. For example, I'll try to bid $11 on an item that has $10 for the highest bid but it will say that I'm not the highest bidder. Then I'll bid $12 $13 then $14 but still I'm not the highest bidder. I would assume someone else is bidding faster than me. But it turns out the other bidder bid days ago. And there bids wouldn't show up on the item only after the auction ends.

Only downloaded because of eBay's insistence. You can't view your entire purchase history, it doesn't notify you of price drops and it doesn't display full t and c of offers. Search settings reset after every search, for exanple you can't look at Sold listings without having to faff about turning the setting back on after every search. Why push mobile users to get the app when it doesn't offer a full experience?

Works quickly with all the features of the site as accessed via a Windows browser but not quite as easy to use. Seller feedback is essential for buyer confidence but it is not immediately visible. It is easily accessed by selecting the item and scrolling down but there is no easy comparison from the search page as there is when using a Windows browser.
