Elevate - Brain Training

If you intend to be consistent in your training and are interested enough to pay for a subscription, then I strongly recommend this app. The design of each exercise is not only sleek and pleasant to the eye, but the exercises themselves are efficient and varied. As a writer, I mostly enjoy using writing related exercises, but it suits all kinds of needs and quite useful if you generally wish to improve your skills.

More challenging than it looks--and it actually works! With only the free version limit of three games per session, I've noticed improvement in my target areas (mental math in particular.) [UPDATE: I decided to switch to premium. It's definitely worth paying for! But some of the exercises seem weighted toward people who type more rapidly with their thumbs. I don't like that.]

I have adhd. I know I'm not slow or stupid, but sometimes it feels that way. Either my brain moves too fast to comprehend or completely loses everything. I can say after trying this app for the first time, I love it! I'm very easily bored and distracted, but these games and practices were fast, challenging, and engaging. It actually felt like I just put my brain through a quick, focused, and satisfying workout! I look forward to seeing how I improve as I continue to use the app!

These exercises are made to be fun. I have never felt like they are work. I've played daily for many months, getting all the way to 99%+ in each category, without paying. The exercises are absolutely perfect for keeping my brain pliable, which is the absolute number one thing we can do to ward off alzheimers and plaque build up in or brains. I have now paid for the subscription to unlock some new exercises. But, you can gain so much without paying at all. FANTASTICALLY GOOD FOR 🧠 HEALTH!!

Great for exercising your brain and keeping sharp. I'm over 60 and am concerned about losing my mental abilities, so this app stimulates my brain. There’s a large variety of exercises with a great interface. There’s personalized scoring and also comparative scoring against the populace. Customer service is also very helpful and responsive to your emails in case you have a question or a suggestion for one of the exercises. (I hate to call them “games”, even though they’re fun.)

I've used the free version so far but wouldn't pay for this due to all the training being time restricted. Rushing to do everything makes for mistakes, and you don't learn much when you don't have time to think properly. I read a lot of books but I read for pleasure. Skim reading isn't for me, neither is setting targets for how many books I read in a year. The time restriction just leads to frustration and annoyance and isn't very relaxing.

A great, fun and convenient way to keep the mind sharp- in addition to reading, physical exercise (mountain biking, road cycling, walking, and fitness workouts - exercise is good for your brain), along with good nutrition and the reasoning and judgment exercise on my job. I like how the Elevate exercises get progressively more challenging, with many levels, hit different areas (math and counting, language, short term memory, etc) and the the games are engaging and visually interesting.

I can say that Elevate is having an imprint on me. It is becoming addictive. But i guess it is a good game to be addicted to. I love the effort of the graphic animation using this really aimed towards human focus. Also the relief of ads, this would defeat the whole purpose of keeping focus. However I have one request, that the eloquence be reviewed. The app does not always identify your answer even when it is a close synonym. Apart from that Elevate is a tremendous app. Thank you Elevate

Loving the new update! It finally shows you the answer after running out of time! 0 ads. Exceptional, beautiful, well-crafted minigames to help you hone your learning skills in reading, writing, speech, and math. A few of them are rudimentarily simple and can be repetitive, but there is always a piece of knowledge you will acquire with each game activity. There are informative stats and progress reports available, as well as extra study sessions. I definitely intend to be playing this every day.

This is one of my favorite games to play once a day, as I improved in math, reading and vocabulary thanks to Elevate. I have played this for a year now. The cons are the expensive price to access all games, and the recent update to move the quick workouts behind a paywall. I think any more changes will have me find another brain training app.

There are vocabulary games in this app that require being able to discern exact pronunciation. These games are difficult to play due to the truly awful synthesized voice. It's infuriating, and that's not conducive to a constructive learning experience. I'm glad there was a free trial period.

I don't know why this app comes up as a memory app, as it seems like you have to purchase premium to unlock the memory module. Other than that it's relatively useful. The brevity module is useful imo. If you don't purchase premium I'm not sure you're going to find the app super useful though as you get a very few workouts per day and they're randomized, so you can't focus on weak areas.

STOP!! if you're looking for an easy and FREE way to improve your mental... Well, everything- then this is the app! I won't try to explain it all, but the games are extremely fun, easy to understand, and the graphics and design are seamless! It looks beautiful and unique with each and every activity, and for an extremely low price of $20 every YEAR you can unlock everything! Including all games and insight's. And it takes less the. 10 minutes a day to do! You have to try this-

Haven't purchased anything yet, might do in the future. Just wanted to leave a review to say that i was amazed by the UI/UX of this app, its simply put perfect. All aspiring developers should strive for this aesthetic , from the animations to the design to the sounds. I for one will try to implement this level of quality in my future apps ,thanks for the inspiration!

This game was a suggestion from my google play list for points. After I read the comments I was very interested in trying the game because of the score. After downloading was complete I did the screening test and recieved the score decided to try the "free" version before purchase. Started with communication and app quit working. It keep directing me to the purchase information. Maybe this works for apple and windows systems but I own a google chromebook. this game is no go for me

I'm 44 and already feeling like I'm suffering with a lot of cognitive abilities like memory, descriptive speech and math. I like this app, I don't know if there's science behind doing it this way but it's obvious that the refreshers are going to be helpful exercises. It already feels good to my brain to think harder and be challenged more.

EDIT: Don't waste your money. You want to improve skills and have fun? Read a book... I need to be able to turn off the time limit. The speed contest is something I dispised in school. Like with Math, the goal is to get the correct answer, not to be as speedy as possible. I paid for this and I'm instantly regretting it because of the timed feature. Guys, it is not a F---king contest! It's amazing to me that scholars still don't understand that the competition in learning needs to be removed.

I've been playing Elevate daily for almost a year and a half. It has helped me significantly in so many areas! I read faster with better understanding, my writing has improved as I am more succinct, with better grammar and punctuation, and I am officially a math nerd now! My memory has drastically improved and I find the games fun and stimulating, without taking up too much of my time. I LOVE this app!

This app seems cool and I love the idea of it!! However, my eyesight isn't great, the font didn't get very big and it didn't play nicely with TalkBack, so I'm not even going to try the free trial for the time being. Please make it so the text can get bigger!! (And TalkBack and make sure when it gets bigger that we can scroll-Duolingo isn't great at that one!)

No ad. I like the interface and how I don't get bombarded with notifications. I love all the games and have seen improvements. I like the analysis system gives me an overview of where I am lacking—an excellent way to expand my knowledge, skills and language. I believe this app is my monies worth (75% discount for a lifetime wasn't bad).

I downloaded Luminosity, Peak, and this game. This game is probably my favorite out of the three. Ive found that with Elevate, the games are more simple and go by quicker. The other apps have, what seems to me, filler games that dont really have a point. Most of the games focus on language and grammer. I would like to see more variety, but I'd say its worth trying.

Love ❤️ this app! it makes waiting in line for drop-off and pick-ups so much more fulfilling. I truly feel that I am bettering my mind/brain and that I think so much quicker, clearer and better. I actually learned the new math method after months of playing this game! And my emails and text messages are definitely more concise! Worth it!

Have been using for so long that I dont know what to say! Great app, absolutely love it! Whilst other language-related app would focus more on vocabulary learning and training, "Elevate" would focus on everything, i.e. from capitalization rule, to reading for gist, to sentence refinement, etc.

I love this app a lot. It's a shame that with the free versionyouu can only play 3 games for the day, but it's just enough that I don't delete this app. I used to have premium, and the amount of games is awesome. Most often, I used this to keep my mind refreshed and practice my math and English skills. The games are clever, well-designed, and challenging.

This is such an enjoyable app and I truly feel that it works in keeping your brain healthy! My vocabulary has grown so much with this app. Not only that, I've had my parents download it on their phones. They play it every night and I feel like it helps them exercise their mind. I would love to see a community tab inserted in the future where friends and family can connect/compete with each other on streaks or scores if they'd like!

I like the app and the games it's smooth and interactive. However the pricing is insane in my opinion. That's gas/ food money I can't fathom how the product is worth 40 dollars. I can get a triple a game with a 1 time payment for that cost.

The most pedagogical and by far the best brain training app I have ever used. Just by playing you learn and get better in many skills. Fantastic. I understand that the full version is not free. I wish it was! There are no ads at all.

This app is an amazing and fun option to help build intelligence and sustain knowledge. My only wish is that you could get to finish reading the interesting tidbits of information when you complete something. It moves on quickly.

It is a really good game. Helps with maths and English in all aspects. the only downside is you have to pay over £30 to unlock more training exercises and this is an annual cost so you don't even unlock it fully.

I like most of the challenges, but the answers given are not always accurate (i.e. synonym challenges). The speech portions also showcase common dialectical usage as examples of incorrect answers, which is interesting, to say the least.
