Endless ATC

In this simulation game, you are an air traffic controller at the approach radar of a busy airport. The goal is to guide the planes safely to the ILS (Instrument Landing System) of the runways to get a high score. If you make no errors, the number of planes you have to control gets larger and larger. How many flights at a time can you handle? The game shows you a radar screen with planes and runways. Planes are generated randomly. To keep it fun and playable, this ATC sim is a bit simplified compared to real life, yet it's all on scale and the planes behave quite realistically.A warning for users who are unfamiliar with aviation: due to high realism, this game may bore or frustrate you, so please read the instructions below first. :)InstructionsSelect a plane, give it a descend instruction (to about 2000 feet), guide it to the thin blue line at a large distance from the runway (somewhere between the blue circles), and clear it for approach by enabling ILS mode, which means it will follow the line to the runway (given that the plane captures the line at a shallow angle). It's also handy to check out the screenshots and the video. Then just try it! More detailed instructions:
• sequence the traffic to the ILS path in front of a landing runway. The runway is depicted as a small, thick blue line in the middle of the screen; the ILS path is the thin line extending from the runway. In order to capture this ILS beam, a plane must comply to three conditions:(1) the ILS mode of the plane is activated,(2) the plane has to be descended low enough to intercept the glideslope from below; the blue circles mark the altitudes of 2000, 3000 and 4000 feet,(3) the plane must intercept the ILS at a heading of 50 degrees or less with respect to the runway (aim for about 30 degrees). If captured correctly, it will follow the line and land automatically on the runway. Note that it takes some time for a plane to descend to the selected altitude. When a plane is fully established, it will be handed over the the tower and then you score skill points. For parallel approaches, maintain 1000 feet vertical separation until both planes are localizer established.
• Departing aircraft determine their heading and speed themselves (by default); they only require an instruction (when it's safe, of course) to climb to a higher altitude: flight level 130.
• You can also lose skill points when planes:(1) fly too close to eachother (generally: overlapping circles and altitude difference <1000 feet),(2) leave the airspace (outer grey circle), also if they are departures but leave the airspace at or below FL100,(3) missed approaches/go arounds.
• The amount of planes that you have to control is about the same as the amount of skill points you have: the higher the skill value, the more planes you have to deal with. You can also achieve 'goals' by landing a certain amount of planes in the correct way.
• Some planes have an additional 'RD' tag; only these planes need to land on the secondary 'RD' airport. In the menu there are options like a speed multiplier, and a 'skill cap' for a more relaxed gameplay: this 'cap' limits the skill value so the rate of inbound traffic will also be limited. Other parameters are randomly chosen. Double tap on the radar screen to zoom in/out.For more detailed instructions go to http://startgrid.blogspot.nl/2013/11/endless-atc-instructions.html Features
• endless amount of planes, multiple runways,
• give radar vectors like a real air traffic controller,
• amount of traffic adapts to your skill level,
• pause and high simulation speed modes,
• automatically saving game; resume where you left off,
• no internet connection required,
• no ads,
• it's free. The game plays best on big screens. Apparently it doesn't run on Huawei + android 6. If you have feedback, please send me an email.

v5.0.1 This game keeps getting better with each update. Again, I still believe a visible Pause Button and a Senior Controller Button would be helpful. It's a well done game for those who knows what they're doing. I'll give it 5 Stars for attempting to help newer players. Honestly, I thought the Help Button was used as a Senior Controller to help you in tight situations. For now, that's not what it does and gone after a few landings. The Help Button gives 3-4 App Summary hints.

I like this game very much it helps me to familiarize about aircrafts and control, but may I request that can you please add some names of to and from destination places in each aircraft? Displayed in the aircraft aside from the speed, type of aircraft, altitude, etc.

One of the best games I've encountered on PlayStore. First time I spent whole night how awesome the game is. A bit addicting. No bugs no lags no adds till now since some years ago (updated 2021). Yes, it is going quite difficult number of planes goes bigger and operate more than 10 planes at 2x time speed is cool to train concentration and problem solving. If you ask ideas for improvements, noooo this game is just perfect at it's minimalistic UI.Thank you very much.

Simple game with fairly simple controls. Requires a bit of air traffic knowledge, but users should be able to figure them out within the first few minutes. As you get better, your score increases, and the number of planes transiting through your airspace increases as well as the number of runways, and ramps back down if you start losing control. Keeps the game challenging. Not all aircraft are created equal! Watch out for heavys and supers, as their wake turbulence will throw off smaller planes behind them if they are too close.

This is an elegant and beautiful app - Reminds me of a similar DOS program I had in the 90s which worked in the same way. Only this one has all the bells and whistles! Its a small app, doesn't take all your space on the phone and it is as the title says, endlessly interesting. Very impressed. A lot of work must have gone into this! The different voices are a nice touch :)

Wow! This is a really well done game for mobile. It's fast paced like you'd expect from the real airport. Takes a lot of multitasking to keep separation. Stressful, but fun! NOTE: Out of the box, this game isn't very beginner friendly at all. If you have little to no knowledge about air traffic control, this will be very frustrating for you. If you're genuinely interested in learning, look up some videos. Plenty of great tutorials out there.

That's a very interesting and exciting game, I began normal playing after about 20 minutes of adaptation and haven't stopped yet! I believe that everyone who likes aviation and all this stuff just has to try and play the game! Suggestion: add something like a wait list which contains callsigns of planes in the order of arrival, and those planes which are privileged (broken engine, and all), of course lift in the list. I think there's some similar stuff in real life. PS sorry for my English

It's not very realistic as it claims. Departures do not follow real SIDs. Arrivals do not follow STARs either. The runway configurations are very very unrealistic. ILS intercepts are a bit unrealistic as a lot of approaches require different altitudes as per the IAP charts. All the sectors you control are a perfect circle, which is not the case for any airport at all. The game is fine for beginners and a casual arcadey experience, but not for those who really enjoy realistic ATC.

Controls: Explanatory and understandable Graphics: Retro, minimalist, and to the point Gameplay: Juggling tasks, fixing problems, forward thinking A great relaxing game that takes just long enough to get going that you feel hyped and ready for a challenge when it comes. It's (as the name implies) endless, but if you're bored, you can tweak the speed and difficulty lf the game to give yourself a challenge. Check out the full version with more content for only 4 whole, cripsy dollars.

Every thing is very good. Plz add some more airports and runways. And add one option which determines the flow and duration of emergencies. That option will operate the rate of emergency like low moderate or high. Plz add this one if possible.

As a person who work in the field, i think this is the most realistic ATC game available. You have full control over speed, altitude and heading. I think the sim could also add SID STAR and approach procedure as in the real world, and to add VHHH - my base, for sure! I hope this could also gain an online mode which you could do multiplayer and share highscores.

this ATC game is simply amazing, complex and very eye opening to the men and women who keep our skies safe. it took me a while to understand the complexity of how to direct air traffic to their appointed destinations. I'm finding that an ATC controller is not who I should be, but I this simulator I can get a somewhat feel the pressure of a controllers day...sorry not even close. A tip of the hat to every ATC controller in the world. My appreciation to the designer of this ATC simulator!!

The game is very realistic but I want you to guide us Before and help in beginning so we can play very well....however its great😁 Although the game is flawless, but please add airports of the whole world so we can play with much more variety..Thank you I'm in love with this game. Please make games like this such as radar control, ground control and Tower control. It will be great! Please Make these games!!!

A proper introduction and how to play the game is really necessary and must be included. It does not provide any kind of tutorial. But once how to play is known, the game is good. But knowing how to play without any basics is extremely difficult for beginners.

This seems to be the most realistic* air traffic control app that I've found and have played for hours and hours. *I'm not involved in the air traffic control industry at all so I don't know how realistic it really is, and for sure the harder levels go beyond what is considered safe but it's fun and I thoroughly enjoy it.

App keeps crashing on my LG G6 running Android 8.0.0, whenever an issue occurs (most recent was planes flying too close to each other; it exited itself to the home screen after a few seconds and then I lost all of my progress). It's a pity because the game seems real fun.

Fus. G. Oct 5, 2019

Good game, good functions, but gets repetitive over time. Unlike other ATC games you can increase the difficulty. Really stressing amd challenging when you do this, so good fun for a bit.

I can't hear anything even though I change the sound to 3 to be able to hear all readbacks and instructions issued. My phone is a OnePlus 7 pro running Android 10. Could you please look into it. Great app by the way

AWESOME game, and one of the very few which actually teaches you something.

Jos. H. Oct 26, 2019

It's good, very realistic and fun. However I think that there should be more airports available for free, like sydney for example. And maybe add weather. Otherwise it's pretty damn good@

YJJ. Aug 26, 2019

Very fun and easy game to understand. Personally as someone who has no idea how ATC works, the tutorial was extremely useful and I learnt how to play the game very quickly.

Joh. Sep 3, 2019

It is soo Slow! Takes minutes to land a single ac, and the time it takes stacks per each aircraft. Not a bad game though, should ye have patience enough.

A fun endless atc simulator, a bit challenging but fun

Jus. T. Oct 13, 2019

Just ok, not like real life. The vectors to intercept the ILS aren't realistic, once you've cleared for the ILS you shouldn't have to manage altitude anymore, no prescribed missed approach procedures, no STARs, no vectors for visual... Just really annoying from a real life pilots perspective.

Great simple game idea, implemented perfectly. Mobile game developers take note, this is how you get me to give you money: no advertising, no pop-ups and a wonderful demo version. This will be the first time I ever spend money on a mobile game. I honestly never thought I'd see the day. Kudos to the Endless ATC dev, you've restored my faith in humanity!

Drank so much coffee, Assistants where throwing papers in the back round, lovely work force and splendid pilots. Not reccomended on Sunday between 11am to 3pm. This is the most realistic version of Air control I think you can get, it is AMAZING! I would love to see the developers add a 3d world that you can actually see the plabes land and such + this version of air control. 10/10!

Ste. A. Dec 11, 2019

Really enjoy this game. Maybe you can add features to enable holding airplanes at a fix, cross a fix at a certain altitude, and make the planes follow a missed approach path and altitude automatically?

Raw. W. Dec 30, 2021

Everything is cool. Just a point-> Flights that overfly have less speeds than usual these should be. These mostly are 290, 310 knots etc. But why??

she. s. May 29, 2021

I like it , only thing is, I going to use aviation term seeing either pilots or aviation interested person in here, 2 traffic holding at same altitude vectoring should collided . Once a traffic leaves a sector it would be nice to rerouted to final approach. Can you add in even and odd numbers so half of the screen is even # eg north to east eg KLM 2290 out of 25 climb to 65 And south to west is odd # ,eg KLM 1234 leaving 90 to 80
