Currently, the best out there without a doubt. It has the concise meaning of almost every possible word. One can search for any word swiftly with no interruption of any kind of ads. Loved it, really. Thank you Livio & Wiktionary Edit(21/06/22): A small suggestion. Since I have a huge list of history, bookmarks and notes in the app, it would be great to see a feature allowing the ability to search in those sections for easily finding out the exact word instead of scrolling all the way to that.
A wonderful Dictionary of all times. I've been using it for over 5 years now. I've seen it transform into a better user friendly platform. Maybe if I can request for something, it could be the backup and restore functions, if you can let the app frequently back itself up maybe on google drive or onedrive without human interaction. This is because as people we frequently change cellular devices and install apps again, and losing historical data and favorited data is just meehh. Love. ✌️
Unable to use text to speech function since last update. And despite checking and ensuring all enabling toggles are in place - nothing! Is there something I missed? This feature has always been handy when ensuring correct pronunciation. I am still able to use the app; it remains functional and a very useful tool. Though sadly unable to access one if its features.
Has every single form of a word, pretty much every word I've ever searched for, pronunciations, examples, and even a basic etymology. I would like to see a far more detailed etymology in future, and more example sentences. Considering it's free, it's the best value for money out there. Also, no ads!
The app is really cool and worth your data. From Bookmarks, to etymology and to text to speech output, this app has really done it all. Regarding my general experience, it packs all the features you need! Besides, my suggestion is to improve the Bookmarks accessibility — like making it possible for us to swift through from one bookmark to the other (and not heading over to bookmarks again to select the one u need) I mean, scrolling left & right across ur bookmarks as in the case with WORDS...
This app is actually my favorite English app seeing the text to speech is wonderful but for the past 2 months I am unable to get that feature. I updated my app thinking that could be why, still no change. Tried emailing the developers yet no response or change has been noticed. So I wish to know what exactly is the problem please. The text to speech is exactly why this app is desirable. I hope that gets looked into.
I like this dictionary... i hope there is also illustrations or sketches or drawings or pictures especially for words or objects that are more easy to describe or elaborate if there are colored high definition illustrations. Please keep your apps free as you really help a lot of students and non English users. Thank you. More success and keep up the good works.
I love everything about the app. Perharps it's because I've grown fund of It. It's user interface Is easy to navigate, and most words have etymology and examples of them used in sentences. This really helps in learning. I love the fact that it has myriad words —ones I least expected it to have. What I do is, update it frequently: I wouldn't want to miss out. Lest I forget, It also has phrases and idioms. It has really helped me. Thanks a lot.
One of the best dictionaries on Playstore, definitely! Second to none, but I've this one suggestion that I think it should be added to improve the quality of this already great app! My humble suggestion is for you guys to add swipe to next booked word instead of the word that follows grammatically. I think a click should be there to direct you to the next favourited word, thank you!❤️
The app is really good. But i face a little inconvenience. When i want to go through the bookmarked words i have to click a word and to get to the next word i would've liked to just swipe the screen but instead i have to click back then again click the next word. Please improve here. It is redundant and causes disinterest.
It's kinda good app but my little assertion is that, there should be an option or a way to buckup our searched and bookmarks on the external card(memory card) so as to restore them when we change the phone. It should not be always on the phon's storage because when we lose the phone all the buckups will be gone
It's use is been quite good to some standards... My only challenge is 'abbreviations'. I can't find most abbreviations in the dictionary as well as 'idioms' which are not up to date... I will have to Google those abbreviations before I could get the exact ones I'm looking for. But aside that, this app is been very helpful in terms of some word meaning I do not know.
It's a very plane and simple dictionary. If you search for a word it also brings out the transcribtion of that word to aid your pronounciation. It's literally the only mobile dictionary that comes to my mind, stress free. I have this nostalgic feeling when using it.
It uses Wiktionary which combines definitions from all dictionaries. And it uses text to speech service so you can hear pronunciation while offline. Gives you access to synonyms, etymology, transcription in different dialects, acronyms, examples of use, first use. It's the best. And it's really light and quick. I've been using it for years. So sad that IOs users will never use it 🤣
I've been using this app for years and I've found it to be excellent. There are good etymologies, good American and British pronunciation guides, and an exhaustive collection of definitions, as many as necessary to adequately define words with many meanings. And, it's fast and easy to use.
This app is perfect! All you need is the 40 mb worth of data and you're done! This app has been my go to choice for a long time now since the last update! What I would really recommend is a change in the looks, because I'm not a fan of sharp corners. Other than that, you've nailed it!
This is the best dictionary ever. - Very concise and organized. - Offers the ability bookmark and save words. - It even offers translation to key languages within the same page. -No ads or interruptions. Awesome app! Thanks to the creators.

It's the best free and ad-free offline dictionary. You can add a floating tool feature that can be drawn over other apps, so we don't need to open a new tab for every word/phrase and receive the details right on the spot.
I always install this app on my devices and it works perfect. The only thing now is that when I want it to say the words out loud, I clic on the speaker icon but it does not function. Please fix it. I will always rate it with five ⭐'s 🖤😈🤘👍
This app gives me the best and simplified definitions. Even to some terms that do not appear in other Advanced Learner's dictionaries. Thank you developer for this app and it's easy to use interface.
Very simple and clear . I've been using this app for a long time whenever I need to make sure spellings or pronunciation , antonyms ,a new word with meaning and all my students use it too . The most exciting feature is it's voice explanation .👌👌
I have used this app for years now. I just changed my phone and the first dictionary app that came across my mind was this one. The offline feature make other data consuming dictionary app obsolete. Kudos to the team . I wish I can donate $1 to the team for a job weldone. Now imagine if everyone making use of this app gives them $1. Not as subscription fee, but as a donation. And it won't be compulsory.
Although a good dictionary, the app icon looks pathetic! Like I've been using it for years, I don't even remember. It seemed well back then but not now. It should look kinda great dictionary. So developers, what do you think regarding this issue?
I have been using this app on my Android phone since long time and this is the perfect dictionary app that I have found so far. Lately I switched to ios and struggling to find this on Apple store. Please let me know if you have an ios version as well. I would love to use it and will be much helpful.
I personally use and would this Dictionary it's 5/5. Although it's not that impeccable, but mind you nothing in this planet earth is perfect. Atleast, the app stands out among its competitors. It provides options for text-to-speech output, synonyms, antonyms, etymology, and among others. It also allows users to make some notes if applicable. My suggestions are: to provide a Backup feature so that user's can recover there vocabularies, secondly, to add more Example sentences, this is paramount!
