Epic! Unlimited Books for Kids

User interface needs some work since you're unable to search by age range. You can only filter the search results after picking a topic. It would be far more useful to browse by appropriate material rather than topic alone. There's also a lot of junk books used as filler as well as kids picture books that were converted to audio books, making them essentially worthless. Overall, a mediocre experience.

The stories are excellent, funny and interesting, the pictures are good. One story a day on the basic account is enough for a young reader. I took away one star because the reading interface is glitchy, the page sporadically gets stuck after zooming with two fingers and doesn't scroll with one finger, other times it works fine. Sometimes the zoom level is reset unexpectedly. Without zooming in the letters are too small to read on a 6-in screen.

I love epic but my granddaughter now has it on her school tablet and I no longer need it. I have attempted to cancel both thru the app and by email since March several times. Epic has never responded except with an auto reply and recently (May 5) charged me an annual renewal. Customer service is non existent! Being billed for service I can't cancel! Update: Issue has now been resolved. Always amazes me how a bad online review obtains quick action.

It is a way to get 3 books read during the day, especially when I am tired. The added benefits are him reading the highlighted words and hearing the pronounciations. He is 2 yrs old and trys to mimic what he sees and hear.

I love this App! There are alot of Books and alot of videos! I really would wish for someone to put in books about Mrbeast and The DreamSMP because kids like me need a wide variety of things to keep up to date on! So that is just a suggestion that I hope you would follow through with! Thank you! there is one thing I am not a fan of... So If I Sign up to Read 1 Book after school hours I get an Avatar. I dont like the Balloon pop at the end of a book. I think there should be a level up! thx bye!!!

Brilliant and fun. My child's school teacher recommended Epic to us and it's been great. We chose to upgrade to the unlimited monthly subscription and it has been worth every cent. My kids have their own profiles and have been reading every day, even my 3 year old, who has never been interested in books, is excited to read (with the help of the narrated books) each day.

So I used to use this app all the time. USED TO. This new """"uPdATe"""" ruined it for me. I opened it up, and I saw the new login screen. I thought, "Oh, it's just a little opening screen. " I tapped, and then the buttons showed up. No profile selection. Nothing. Just those four buttons. Why p, epic, WHY!? I CAN'T EVEN USE THIS APP NOW! WHY!? WHY DID YOU DO THIS?

Epic is okay its not really that good though why do you need to pay to read books? And whenever you try to search something nothing really comes up and if you do find stuff most of the time it's unlimited and I'm not paying that much money just to read a book and also why do you need pick one book a day if you can fix this thanks.

LOVE, love, love this app!! We do not use it every day because we love physical books BUT DEFinately the BEST virtual book app out there in my opinion!! We LOVE the badges!! It is cool to be able to have a home account as well as school BUT should be able to use school app ANYTIME since they $ for it!! Then we could pay for Summer months! Kind of a sneaky move.. but I get it!! Other than than! It has TONS of categories/levels to chose from! Totally worth yearly sub! Thank You! 😊

This app is amazing!! I love it for my students (kindergarten and first grade) and for my three year old son! My favorite features are the collections of books about so many different topics and the "read to me" section! I highly recommend this app to parents and educators!

It's a great app. My kid loves the books. However, I paid for unlimited access but I not getting the eight access to unlimited books. The support never respond. My kid keeps chasing every 2 hours about the access, drivers me crazy.

A must have app for every child! It helped my daughter to read a lot, starting from"read to me" phase until reading comics, then chapter books, all in one app! Really amazing!

Why have you been charging my bank account even though my subscription is "paused"? Will you offer a refund for all the months you charged? I was going to send an email, but other users deserve to know. Nice service, but this is pretty scummy behavior. I hope it is unintentional. Please correct. I will modify this review if you do.

We paid full price to subscribe but are still kept on Basic Status, and can't access Unlimited even weeks after money deducted from my credit card. I have emailed their customer service multiple times, but have no response. We require a full refund for the service never delivered. It's so btutal and such a nightmare to smash our kid's dream and keep him waiting and anticipating for weeks to read the book he loves. I would give zero star here if I'm allowed here.

Reading on epic is fun! There is a lot of skills, badges, levels, and a lot more! (Well, a lot of books- duh! and you only need to read for 20 minutes a day! And the best part- there's videos!

My son and I have always loved reading and this has made our reading experience so much better! It's now apart of our night time routine. Would be cool if they got different surprises after every book. But All in all, HIGHLY recommended

I played this app all the time in 1st grade. My teacher always said for us to either go on epic or smarty ants. I chose epic because it's the best app ever!!! Now I'm in 3rd grade and I still use this app that is how amazing this app is. Thank you developers for putting all of your effort on this app! This is a 100 highly rated app!🥰

Should have read the comments before. I had purchased unlimited but it is still basic version. Cannot reach any support from epic. Horrible service at all 👎 Update: my problem solved by support team after days. Now my kids enjoying the books provided. Thanks for help but i think you should help the customers faster please.

The books just show black pages when I pick them. Nothing shows. For the read to me books, the voice reads it, but the book pages themselves don't show??? Just blackness.

I am trying to add the app to both of my son's tablets and I am unable to log in for them to use the unlimited books that I paid for. This is very disappointing. Update: got it installed unable to see pictures or words. Again a disappointment.

I love books and if you love books. Yeah you, Then install Epic. It's a great app And has over like 100 books, It has good fit books, Audio books, Fiction Books, and Non-fiction books, Try it for yourself by just installing it and reading books.

The app is horrible. It keeps asking to upgrade at every page and my 6 yr old has to try to read with the ads prompting him to pay. Terrible

It's really awesome for my kids but no biblical books and other languages like german, arabic, italian etc also in french, spanish and chinese no dictionary when children click for learning new vocabularies.
