EPIX

When I choose the option to watch movie/show on my TV all I see is a black screen but I can hear the sound. I end up having to watch on my phone. Also there is no search option on the TV app. Very disappointing

I only gave it 4/5 star rating, mainly due to the settings in the app being so limited. Epix really need to take a look at what some of their competitors are doing on their platforms, like playback options. I have Cox, so I'm not playing a monthly fee (besides my expensive friggin cable bill) to watch Epix have. Also, The Epix app should support 4K streaming, but it doesn't say it anywhere in the app! There should be a disclaimer stating that you are not able to view it in 4k.

This is a bait and switch app I was told that I could get it for 12 months for free and requires no credit card information no personal information just sign in with your email and your created password and you'd have 12 months so I do this now it's a 7-Day free trial and then $5.99 monthly do not download the app do not get epic on your TV it is fraud and a ripoff you're better off going with Netflix Hulu Disney things like that once they get your credit card information they own you

I CAN'T USE THIS APP BECAUSE YOU DON'T HAVE MY PROVIDER LISTED.... THAT WOULD BE AMAZON PRIME. yes, I subscribed through Amazon Prime. wedding guides name are you doing not making it possible for me to use the app that I'm paying a monthly subscription for?!

I pay for hbo max, Hulu, Disney plus and Amazon prime and I cannot access this.. its bs .. Don download unless you have apple TV or YouTube TV or cable provider.. it won't allow you.. plus all the movies on here are on all my apps I do have so dont waste your time

This app used to work on my Sony Bravia 2015 TV. I can select a video but it doesn't play just a black screen. Tried reinstalling and clearing the cache and still doesn't work

Does it work? Yes....but does it work well? No. Sure, I can download movies so I can watch stuff on a plane, but the amount of bugs are annoying. The app rarely crashes, but I regularly get a "No internet connection" error even when there's a data signal or wifi. In these cases, I'll get this error even if I try to watch a movie I've downloaded. Huh? One really ridiculous thing is that the app doesn't remember where I've stopped watching a movie so i have remember & manually forward to it.

Update: Yay! Chromecast option works great now! You guys made quick work of that bug! Thanks! Original post: It has the option to cast using Chromecast, but then it just shows the movie rating (PG, etc.) and swaps back to the Epix logo. It plays on my phone, but who wants to watch a movie on their phone, really? Two stars because there are so good movies available. Lame the Chromecast feature doesn't work.

Had a subscription for about a wk now. Very disappointed in the movie selection. Not sure if its because I've gotten a discount for my subscription or not. But the selection of movies is horrible. Most need to be rented or bought which i can get through Netflix or Amazon prime. In my opinion, its a waste of money

App work okay on my Roku Streaming Stick+, but won't allow me to use my new phone whitcwhi a Samsung Galaxy S9+ that is grayed out and not a choice. It only allows me to use my old phone. 1st it wouldn't allow me to sign into my account with Google and kept trying to get me to change my password which I had just done. It seems to be working now but what a pain to do something that should be so simple. Also I have triple play best you can supposibly can get and a bunch of shows and movies have keys after them and lock me out. I called Spectrum but they can't explain it even though I just had a tech out to my house to rewire everything and changed a DVR Box, what next as this has been going on for almost a year. Maybe resetting the box will help for the umpteenth time(not)

I have the APP on two different Android devices (Tivo Stream 4K and NVIDIA Shield) both are giving me fits. The Tivo will not play HD and its so bad I cant use it on the Tivo, The Shield will play in HD most of the time but only gives standard stereo no Dolby, the same on the Tivo. I have GREAT bandwidth and have tried two different routers and a direct connection to both, I have removed and reinstalled the app on both units still no luck. Both The Tivo and Shield play all other apps flawlessly so it has to be Epix, I would love to watch Pennyworth but I don't think its going to happen.

Doest work :( Tried to login with my TV provider (verizon Fios) and once you select your provider it just says signing in and just sits there and spins and never loads. Same on mobile and PC so frustrating 😫

Had to cancel my free 7 day period because I couldn't load subscription on my tv set. I ended up being able to do it through Roku. When My free 7 day ended, I was asked to subscribe in order to further be able to watch. I just did, since it worked perfectly for the trial period. I now fully subscribed and it's perfect to combine with other streaming services when you can't find anything to watch in the others. No commercial breaks as per yet.

Decent, relatively well laid out app, with a healthy selection of content. My biggest gripe is that it's not resuming from where I left off; instead, I have to start something from the beginning and skip ahead to my previous stop point. It's 2020 - this shouldn't be an issue.

Installed 2x. Tried to watch Britannia. Got all the way to playing it and it just stops. no functionality at that point. will not play. samsung note 5g ultra and xfinity. Hope you fix.

Trash app. They can't even get the subtitles to sync properly. Pathetic.

I got it in as up promotion from another app but it never worked with it it was supposed to be through. I'll have to come back and edit cuz I emailed but I didn't get much help cuz it was just for the weekend free didn't work at all on my TV with my credentials that I use for all my other apps

This app requires a paid subscription to a cable TV company. You can't even play a movie without signing into your cable tv account. Not many people have a use for them anymore these days with so many free online apps out there. I am uninstalling this app and looking for another one that has similar movies. Too bad, I really enjoyed their movies but can't afford cable these days.

Woah ... What the heck happened to the Chromecast streaming to TV option / where the heck did the Chromecast icon disappear to?! This is an absolute deal-breaker for me now and will also be for many other customers too most likely... Not sure if this is all just an upgrade glitch or whatnot but could somebody at the very least kindly let your customers know what the problem is?

Unable to stream, because they don't tell you you need a TV provider right off the bat double 👎👎. And I already payed for the subscription

Got a free trial through dominos. Had me sign up with email and password. Then I couldn't actually login to the app because it required you to select a provider to sign in through so I couldn't use the credentials I had just made. And the link in the email they sent me to "start streaming now" didn't even work. Immediate uninstall I guess.

I canceled my subscription and I am still being charged 5.99 for this app.

You know, if it's NOT FREE, just say so! Stop trying to bait and switch. Complete trash!!!

Issues with player. 1) Errors out easily, especially if something is clicked on my mobile device. Seen on multiple devices (android). 2) Activated Window in window to bypass issue and it doesn't work. Notification Issues: 1)I also get notified of a new episode but not available to much much later. 2) No clear show of newest episodes

I am very pleased with Epix, they have extensive series, movies, documentaries, etc. to choose from! I strongly recommend it, and enjoy watching something every evening. What I love the most i take it with me wherever I go on my smartphone, I've never had a problem with lagging! Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

When I choose AT&T TV from the list of providers, the screen goes blank and nothing happens. I get a login screen, when I choose other providers like DirecTV or YouTube TV. So, there is an issue with AT&T TV.
