Erhu

The erhu (Chinese: 二胡; pinyin: èrhú; [ɑɻ˥˩xu˧˥]) is a two-stringed bowed musical instrument, more specifically a spike fiddle, which may also be called a Southern Fiddle, and sometimes known in the Western world as the Chinese violin or a Chinese two-stringed fiddle.

It is used as a solo instrument as well as in small ensembles and large orchestras. It is the most popular of the huqin family of traditional bowed string instruments used by various ethnic groups of China. A very versatile instrument, the erhu is used in both traditional and contemporary music arrangements, such as in pop, rock and jazz.

I am an Indian, but I know much about the Chinese music, as I researched on it for 3 years. The app is okay and it does sound like Erhu, but the sound is not smooth. Erhu is actually a fretless stringed instrument. But you have added frets in the app, that altered the natural sound of Erhu.

It transitions smoothly between as others mentioned but that doesn't make it horrible it just makes it bad. What makes it horrible is the sound modifiers shown in the screenshots dont exist. I was going to give it 3 stars until I noticed that.

oh my God! this app is legit just bad,you can only play one note at a time and when you switch to another one it just..doesn't have a smooth end! it's so irritatingand I absolutely hate it!wouldn't reccomend this app.

can only play one note at a time. when you switch to another not it is not smooth at all Rigid controls. This app is just plain bad.

Extremely limited. Cannot control anything but a single note at a time, no dynamics, or dipthong possibilities. Don't waste your time. There's a reason it has such a low score on here.

Better than the reviews indicate. Might work best with data off as the ads downloading do interrupt the sustain.

What the hell was that. I know the notes very well but this app make it horrible. I need to practice for my competition but I didn't borrow it, so I end up downloading this stupid app and BOOM! horrible😑

Cannot blend chords. Would randomly open websites when playing.

Transition from notes is less fluid, otherwise OK.

Con. S. Mar 28, 2020

You can't change the pitch in a legato way since there are tiles on the erhu

Lacks many controls and sounds that would make it good. GarageBand still has it beat.
