EVE Online Portal

From my experience, Evemail notifications are unreliable, game-created messages don't work at all. The calendar and store functions return "Connection Error", and the user interface is a bit cumbersome. In sum, I'm not denying it is good to have at hand, but it feels like a utility that just isn't finished yet. I'll be looking forward to seeing the improvements the app needs.

While there are definitely issues, it does provide some serious utility. Lets you check your mailbox and compose mails, view and change your skill queue, and gives you notifications for both. Also lets you access the new eden store if that's a thing you want to do from your phone (though idk why you would, the UI makes it tough to see skins/apparel in any detail, which brings me to...) It does have serious issues too, however. The app rolls its own UI instead of using the standard android/material design widgets, and it's quite clear that the eve portal UI elements just haven't been through enough QA. They should use the well tested UI elements that users are used to. One specific example of the UI in this app just being poorly designed is the writing mail page. When composing, any tap on the screen that isn't in the keyboard box immediately hides the keyboard with almost no delay; this would just be annoying if the send button weren't directly underneath it. That button is more sensitive than any other UI element I interact with in any app I use. In less than the span of a second, an accidental double tap towards the middle of the screen can cause the keyboard to disappear and the mail to be sent. The app lags a lot and seems to download a ton of data on load that I bet could be cached; it takes forever to populate lists (skills/notifications/mail), not sure what the bottleneck is there; I could probably go on, but to be quite honest I'm still livid about the mail thing and having trouble focusing on anything else.

I prefer this app to the new one. It is lightweight, and very fast to load, quite fine for a quick check. New app is bloated, takes 10-15 seconds to load, and is crippled for alphas anyway, so please keep the old version working. Thankyou.

Awesome app, would love to be able to skill queue on the go, but its not that big of a turn off. Does still have bugs though. I completed skill training and it has it at the top of my activity feed dated at a future date.

The potential for this app to be great is there. Simply adding more to it, like telling me what skill I'm training does. Maybe even letting me start, stop, or rearrange skills would be great. Make this a tool players want to use. Maybe add a market tracker, or a way for players to see their market orders, and modify them. There are so many sites that already pull data from Eve, why not follow suit. Just develop more into this app. And you could probably even charge for it

Looks nice, works on the surface. Can't send mail in the app- told to fill in all fields, and they have been. Unacceptable from a company that makes the game this app connects to.

Very limited. Email doesn't show all messages. Would be more useful to be able to view buy/sell orders, contracts, and update skill queue.

It's nice to see an app but it has a long way to go. The eve gate used to let you do so much. Would be nice to see that. Looking at my assets, market info, flipping skills, chatting with ppl in game. Character/Corp lookup. These are all achievable things.

Great app for basic info on eve character. Would like to be able to see full discription of what is training instead of part of the skill description. Also finding that the completed skills are jumbled up in list for some reason.

Is nice, except for the constant "Connection Error" despite my connection being stable on all other channels, so it doesn't update mails. Isk and skills properly. As well as the jump clones

Looks lime it has most of what I want. Could be improved by letting train skills, even just only one at a time, and a way to veiw ship loadouts. That is all.

Only use is to check my skill queue. App feels lacking. I would like to see more in-depth details of my characters. Maybe the ship tree also. Fitting sim. These are functions that other apps provide that this one doesn't. And this is CCP's app. Meh...

27APR19 Pretty good app. I can pretty much see everything for my 1st clone. But i cant look into my multiple accounts/clones. I cant send new email to other pilots or even corps members if im AFK. 31AUG19 You pretty much fixed the problems i had. Overall the best Eve App I have found. There is another that i supplemented you with till now. Great job.

I'm glad CCP FINALLY has an app like this, but It doesn't really do much. The things it does do, it doesn't do very well. The mail system is bugged all to hell. I was expecting a lot more from this...

Very limited functionality. There are other apps with much more functionality. Would love to have an app to play EVE like manage pi, trade, industry..

great app. not 5 stars because i cant copy eve mails to paste into google translate. very silly that something so simple as this ia overlooked in a game were people play from all over the world. my only criticism. woube be great if i can copy paste mails i recieve to put in google translate.

This app is designed for kids who think they have their eyes vertically aligned while holding their phone in portrait mode 24/7 of their time. Why is it a sin to develop an app that has native support for landscape orientation?

I thought the app looked really interesting, so I downloaded it only to get caught in a loop trying to create an account. literally wouldn't let me start or even actually create an account 😡😡😡😡

Mail doesn't function properly. Can't see all mail and can't send mail even though you can compose mail. If it worked properly it would be great

Its a simple app, functionality very limited, and only seems to handle a single eve account... What about us multiple account users ???¿???? Not too useful.. sorry... Correction, l think multi account use is possible , via switch char then add user ... but anyways app is not as useful yet as evenova...

App is okay, there is better though. Should be able to buy items with Google Play Credit, but takes you to their website only. Other apps have a lot more functionality.
