Evite Invitations & Guest RSVP

Used to enjoy using the app until I started creating a weekly event. All of a sudden I stopped receiving push notifications of my RSVPs. Well, then, what's the point‽ For me, using the app is supposed to keep me from having to check my email or going back to the evite to see who is coming. Also, why doesn't the app give me the option of changing the number of reminders sent to my guests, but the website does?

Don't really like the app icon. Apps functionality is fine, has random issues with invites but nothing critical. I just want my evite green app icon back :) could even be the simple helvetica font, the green is what makes the icon recognizable.

Can't view the guest list through the app, it just keeps spinning. Functionality is extremely unreliable, but app is overall OK when it is working properly.

Absolutely horrible app, never loads. It just clocks and clocks and clocks, so laggy. Have cleared cache, restarted my phone, switched connections. What a waste of time.

The text message option is not reliable. I have followed all the instructions in their website. My guests have not received my "messages from host" as a text. Only the few guests who entered their email address, have received it in their emails. Nobody received the messages as text. A total failure for my event. I put so much time on crafting the invite, adding photos, adding registry, downloading the app... to discover that I just have to send everything again in the normal way. Disappointed

Not sure how to rate this service. Paid to create wedding invitation card but can't send the invitation because apparently it works only with US phone number and not with UK!! Wedding on 6th of August 22 and haven't yet sent my invitation! So disappointed!! PLEASE ANYWAY I CAN GET FULL REFUND!!??

Stressful, I was able to create and send everything successfully but the app loads and loads constantly i can't get in to check my invite

This app was a huge waste of time and money. I paid $60 to design an invite and send it to up to 100 people. I sent all the invites out and 5 days later no one has recieved anything. They won't send for some reason and the email that I sent asking for technical support has gone unanswered. Unnecessary stress when you are trying to spend money. And I am worried that I wasted $60. Next time I will definitely use another app, or make my own invites.

App doesn't allow messaging to everyone at one time, although it has messages available.

New look is great! Unfortunately the functionality is terrible. Invite saves don't save. When you go to edit and finish, wherever or not you previously save it warns you that when you leave edit mode your saves will be lost. Sometimes this is true, sometimes not. But it always says it. Bad coding. Bad testing. Bad experience. Just use their website.

Decent all for hosting, but it needs some upgrades. 1) text message invites are poorly written and don't entice people to open the text from the unknown number. 2) events you're invited to can't be opened in the app. You need to go back to the original text to find it, which is incredibly annoying. It'd be very helpful if I could save it in my account then retrieve it in the app, but it just says an error has occurred. This means guests are less likely to revisit the invite without a reminder.

The app options for designing are less & more frustrating than just doing it on the computer. I am unable to see messages in app but can on desktop. The text invite through the app does not work at all, we tried numerous times but noone was getting the texts regardless of their service provider or phone settings. Also I was unable to see the " what to bring list" through the app. Everything needed to be done through desktop & email. App was completely irrelevant in the end.

I love that there are lots of free options and the app is easy to use. You can give access to upload your contacts to easily make a guest list. The only downer for me is that the app is slow. I have no issues connecting elswhere with my network, just with this app. Otherwise its great. I would recommend it because purchasing paper invitations is just so expensive

Everytime i open up my invitation in the app, it shuts down and returns me to the evite main screen. It will not let me view my evite. It says an error has occurred. I should mention that other people's evites and past evites open just fine. It's just my current evite. The app used to work great, I'm not sure what happened. I have restarted my phone and reinstalled the app on my phone many times and nothing changes. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

There's no value in paying for an event. 2) There's no ability to switch to telephone text messages after one has invited a guest via email & vice versa. Yet, contacts data has columns for both telephone & email. There's instructions for iOs/Android txting but they are wrong. I can't even get to contacts via the mobile app. 2) I paid to turn off advertising & I am still seeing pop-up ads in the PC web browser app, a sequence of three or four, when switching screens. Feel ripped off.

I have used evites for years. It's a great way to get info out to family and friends. There are many free designs to choose from, I usually find exactly what I am looking for to coordinate with the occasion. The only improvement I would suggest is to add more layout flexibility when uploading your own images. It would be great if the size of the evite was compatible with all image sizes instead of just two choices for layout size.

My granddaughters Virtual Birthday Party was very stressful. Cameras and microphones kept disconnecting. Cameras froze and were also in slow motion. I could see but not hear, then the opposite would happen. I finally switched to FB and was able to catch the tail end of the 30 minutes. I would never reccomend this app and would give a zero if I had that option.

Honestly, I hate the updates they made. This app used to be free. The graphic , the colors , the designs and the categories are amazing . I don't like how we know have to pay just to send evites. Just to send a small amount of invites the pricing start at $15.99. Very disappointing !! Not user-friendly anymore. If I could this 0 Stars , I would.

This app would be great if it was better formatted for Android phones. The graphics don't adjust to the size of the invitation on my screen after being edited. The biggest drawback is not being able to copy and paste a list of email addresses for the guests. Having to manually enter them is a huge waste of time that could be easily prevented with a free text field.

Very buggy. There is something wrong. I paid for the premium. I couldn't get the text box to delete that I had first filled out . I wanted to change it but what I first wrote wouldn't go away even though I deleted it. Tried to create a link but it didn't work. I read the directions and everything. Also on the front of the invite it kept putting the address twice. Had to try many times to get the name of the Church on there but it would automatically change it to an address.

This is a convenient and easy way to send out party invitations. I like that you are able to include people whose email addresses you have as well as people whose cell phone numbers you have when sending out you evites. The summary that the app sends you right before your event is a good way of keeping up with who is and who isn't coming without having to go back through all the responses.

Not user-friendly or intuitive. Something as simple as scrolling to see the event details is replaced with a swipe-up menu that begs the question, "Who thought this would be a better idea?" Also, the app does not show registries (whereas the website does!), so you may run the risk of looking inconsiderate or foolish when gift-giving. An absolutely horrible app in functionality and convenience.

The app is decent but needs some programming improvements, such as wrapping text on the "Details" page. Also, the Messages tab refreshes every time you toggle back to the Evite app, which deletes any text that is written but not yet sent. The other tabs in the app don't do this. The website version has more functionality.

Still needs some upgrade... ability to add invitees from phone address is good. Need ability to resend invitation. When tried uploading photos, I had to go through all my older pictures (from ALL my photos) before getting to the ones from the party, and when I finally selected photos, it says 'error occurred' and left it at that. How frustrating! It'll be nice to have the ability to access my folders,

I'm a huge fan of Evite and have been utilizing this app for several years. It never disappoints I love the fact that I can send electronic invitations and reduced-cost on paper. It's limitless, the countless templates and varieties. My invitations always come out looking spectacular and beautiful. I would recommend this for moms, stay-at-home moms, party planners....it's just an awesome phenomenal site. Additionally I've never had any problems with the app not working. Thank you again.

It was great and fairly easy to use. Love the capability to add photos, customize evite, and send via text or email!! It would have been a 5 star if the app had all the capabilities of the desktop version, it was inconvenient to toggle between the two.
