eWeather HD:

• Provides information on the last 100 earthquakes from all over the world. View the latest earthquakes in a list or on a map. Provides information regarding magnitude, time and distance. You can filter earthquakes by their magnitude and distance from your location

The best there is. Period. For the weather enthusiast like me, there is no other app that I can turn to for so much information from so many sources. This thing is configurable in more ways than I can count. I can compare forecast data from two different sources with a single touch. You can pay for other weather apps that are okay, but this is the one that is excellent! You really eWeather HD if you're really interested in soaking up great details in a fantastic interface.
This app has a ton of data at your finger tips. Yesterday severe storms, large hail, and high winds came through. eWeather gave me the alerts, I then tracked it on radar. The radar was fast and accurate. The app also indicated there were 2 storms. I thought that was odd, but it turns out there was 2 storms about an hour apart. Great app and excellent support if you need help !
This is a pretty good weather app. It has a lot of great weather data, more than I've seen and I was able to select which notifications I want. However, wind speed is extremely important data that I need to be aware of daily & it's just not available with this app. I can find current wind speed and a general average for the day but not an hourly prediction.
It took personal adjustment, but my opinion is much more favorable after making myself learn it and customize it over a period of months. I'm pretty certain this is the best weather app available, but it has a unique interface. Because of my region, occupation, and recreation activities, I check the weather throughout the day, every single day. I've used about seven other weather apps since 2009.
Definetly the most comprehensive professional weather app period. Been a user for years, I have four different weather apps also and they don't come close to data availability. I keep thinking I need to upgrade to the other app the developer has, but this one does it all. Please let us know before you stop supporting this one it's the best. Thank you.
Bought this app years ago back when I had an iPhone. It was much more accurate than the free apps the phone came with. I bought again when I switched to Android and have never once regretted my purchase. I recently encountered some issues with the radar mapping and sent a bug report. The developers responded almost immediately and walked me through the process to get it functioning properly again. 12/10 would recommend this app. Lot to handle out of the gate but once it's set up it's great!
I have been very happy with this app overall. It has every feature known to man (it can actually be a little hard to navigate due to the sheer number of features, but is worth it). I did knock one star off my rating because I have had issues with the app on multiple occasions over the years that required me to reset the app and set everything back up again. Despite this issue, I still like this better than any other weather app I have tried.
I really enjoy this app, but I also have an issue with my Note 9 Pie update. The widget doesn't load on restart of phone. However, if I go into the app and start it, the widget returns. I also had to adjust the optimization and power settings to have the clock keep time correctly. I will keep an eye on it
By far the best weather app for the enthusiast! I have been using this for 6 yrs. running. Never once have I had a complaint of dissatisfaction: it's that good! Most any issue is due to lack of user knowledge. There is a learning curve to the app & settings too. It took a while till I could figure out how it is working. There are extremely a lot off options and features. Weather forecast is coming from different providers that can be changed in options. Default view is very boring and outdated. But can be customized a lot. Excellent app.
Talk about comprehensive, this app takes the cake and gets to eat the icing, too! It has so many options to choose from, it's often hard to explore them all. But, it's fun finding the plethora of useful weather nuggets along the way. As selfish as this seems, I could only wish for a real-time rather than latent radar, considering all that these guys already offer for serious weather watchers!
Happy user for a decade! This is THE weather app. It does everything I could possibly want, offers an unmatched level of customization, and allows choice of weather data source. The widgets are great and don't draw a lot of battery power. It's the best in every category, and has been since day one!
I've been using this app for several years and i love all the features. Recently, maybe due to getting a new cell phone, the font is difficult for me to read. If i can change the font somehow I would change this to 5 stars. I've already played around with fonts in my phones settings but it doesn't seem to affect the font within eweather. The eweather font looks fine on my old phone, a samsung s7 with ver 8. I now have s10e with vers. 9 making eweather font a stencil type with white outline.
This weather app tells you everything you would ever want to know about the weather! This even includes hurricane, tropical storm, winter storm, earthquake, tornado, flood, etc watches, warnings information. Since I have migraine headaches, I can keep up with the barometric pressure changes with this app. There is a local radar on this app that is very accurate. If I could rate this app higher, I would. Thank you eWeather HD app makers, you built a winner.
Great application. Lots of customization and data available (almost too much at times). Not sure I love the weather clock interface, I much prefer the hour by hour chart. Wish I could get that for the 24-hour forecast in portrait mode instead of just landscape view.
I've used (and paid for) this app for many years and the detailed info is great. However, the app doesn't update correctly anymore and it's frustrating to use. I know a new version is available, but I don't see why I have to pay again for an app just to get it to work correctly. I don't see any new features in the update worth paying for again.
Great App, Great Support After my phone got the Android Pie update, the widgets stop updating. I emailed support and literally got a reply in minutes with suggestions to try. As it turns out I needed to disable battery optimization for the app. After that, everything worked fine. I have been using this app for years. It's great.
DOWNGRADING FROM 5 TO 2 STARS. This app hasn't been updated in over two years. Both sources used for forecast have been inaccurate for months. The app is still one of the most feature-rich and customizable weather apps around, but all that is useless with wrong forecasts. Part of my old 5-star review from 2019 follows: This is BY FAR the BEST weather app in the market, specially at this price. eWeather HD is very feature-rich and extremely customizable.
1 star down from 5 star. I've had this app for a long time and until recently it has been great. Now it's way off and that's not good. I live in North Pole Alaska and 10 degrees difference can mean the difference in getting frostbite or not. I work outside all the time so it's important to get accurate information.
Excellent. Accurate. Helpful daily reference. Superb tech support. Update: I've had this app for over 4 years. I've had many weather apps, this one outdoes them all for ease of use, reliability and quite enjoyable graphics. Recently at the grocery store there was a run on groceries. The cashier said that 12-16" of snow were due to hit us. I was concerned because my trusty app was showing snow but 5-6". This app was correct! Outshined the weather forecasters on the tv! Bravo! Well done! 🌞
