I bought the full license (3.99 euros) from the start, having read lots of good comments about the game. I must say I don't regret it a second! That's a really pleasurable game to play, beautiful to look at and it never gets boring as there's always something to do somewhere in that vast universe. The biggest plus point is that you can play offline. I'm currently located somewhere where the internet is not accessible 24/24 and the game really helps me pass time and have fun. Keep expanding it!
Overall It's a great game, easy controls, lots to do, quite a lot of lour. If you want a game to play for hours at a time this is it. Only two downsides for me Some of the quests can take a while to do as the quest logs for them are very vague. You can spend more time running around than actually doing anything. You can only have one customiseable follower with you at a time. You can occasionally buy a body gaurd as well but they die far to quickly
Great story telling and decent rpg elements. It's an old school game that is fairly open ended, with decent graphics for what it's going for and has a relatively simple but satisfying combat system. The difficulty is fairly rough even on normal mode even with quick saving your game before fights, so I'd recommend starting off on casual or story mode for those looking for a good experience. Buying the full version is worth it if you like playing the first few hours.
I love the old school rpg & the total absence of microtransactions. I bought the $4.99 full game after playing for an hour - got to try it out before spending. How refreshing is that? The content & story line are fun & well written. Good job, devs! I'd pop for an expansion in time. Deducted one star bc I would've never gotten anywhere w/o the wiki. Tutorial is pretty bare-bones. But some players prefer to figure things out, so that's a matter of taste
the game is really fun and you don't have to grind too much in the early game. the quests are always enjoyable with some level of difficulty. the game really let's you make mistakes and learn from them by digging yourself out of the holes you make. I will say that it is more fun in the long run to play the game blind. don't look up walkthroughs or anything. just go with your gut and have fun with it. this game is really worth a download, and it gets even better with the full license. 0 ads too!
Nice game, people should try it although there are still a few bad problems. 1) Gameplay is challenging, even on Casual it is hard 2) Reputation system is a good idea, but there must be a lot more quest in a particular area to help increase the Reputation Gameplay is amazing, a bit of bugs during fights but it's fine. This game got no ads so I'm glad. I wish this game had the option of optional ads to earn money of increase reputation
i've done full clears with 6 characters so far. Absolutly love the high defficulty that often forces you to prepare for the fight ahead, and the passion put into the world and the interactions. would be nice to see some unlockable features from certain interactions with the companions in the future. its not a game where you can just turn your mind of, but if you like grtting lost in a game world, it's a must try.
This game rocks for me. The managing your health mechanic and the fast casual doesn't restore you to max and the fact that you can encounter people trying to steal gold or fight you as well as not doing certain actions to keep your reputation Only thing I'd like to see added is the ability to change difficulty back up to normal without restarting.
A worthy tribute to the games I grew up playing. Graphics are middling but the story is good and I like that you have to put thought into things (be it skills or how to tackle a dungeon). You will die. A lot. Especially in the beginning. Keep playing, though, because it pays off. Edit to add: more than worth it to buy the full version.
I originally left 5 stars but changing it to 4 as I feel there could be a few improvements. Leveling takes a bit to long, imo. Needs fast travel. Needs quest waypoints, and to regenerate health when enemies are nearby. Otherwise, it's a great game, but I unfortunately won't be able to continue until I buy the full license. Which I will, eventually! It's honestly pretty fun, just needs a few more "conveniences", I only have so much time to spend on a mobile game. I do recommend this game!
Challenging to get started, but if you like the trial version, the full version is definitely worth getting. The game isn't perfect but I found the quests and exploration more than made up for the shortcomings. Rated 4* because large parts of the map you can see in the trial version aren't available after purchase. This was disappointing, but to be fair, there is still plenty of content for the cost.
Might be the best mobile game I have played yet and I do not usually enjoy them. The graphics make it seems like an outdated A-Track Tape you found in a forgotten block buster box behind the couch; but to be honest the art is actually rather nice and beautiful. There is a great deal to do in the free version of the game and the difficulty system is very accurate. However once you buy it EVERYTHING opens up. Try it! Enjoy! (Does need companion backpacks or invetory upgrades. But still awesome.)
This RPG is a very cool game. It brings back memories when I used to play games like this in the past. I like the layout and how it was done. I only have some problems, though. One is that I find some of the quests difficult, leading to no hint from places you go to help aid you in each quest when talking to the townspeople. Second, your HP only heals you 1/2 through when you're hit hard, and then you end up having to drink a healing potion to get close to full max HP....just complete stupid!
I love the pixelated retro look and feel. The game's engaging, with an interesting story and plenty of side quests and a huge world. The difficulty's challenging but not overly so. There are no quest trackers on the map and no hand holding, which forces you to explore and discover areas and dungeons on your own. I'm not giving it 5 stars because of the limited bag space, which can't be upgraded as far as I can tell, and the melee combat can be a bit wonky. Otherwise this game is a gem!!
So far so good. I'm glad that this is not P2W. One small fee and it unlocks the full play. My only issue is the regenerations of creatures in areas that I just cleared. For example, you clear out a section of a dungeon but you need to recuperate and when you go back to continue, you have to fight the same monsters again. It can get repetitive.
I would say this game has a lot behind it. It has a story worth going through and plenty of maps to explore with plenty of side quests to pick up own way as well as its main quest. It's probably best to buy the full version seeing as how that one actually has the Mage class option and other such opportunities, make no mistake though the class options do not strictly mean you can only use or do certain things but more of act as your general combat roll and has a great combat system.
A fantastic and fun ARPG, one of very few available for mobile. Questing is interesting and more indicative of a classic RPG experience, with some quests having different outcomes based on your approach and/or your traits. Combat is simple but not a 1-button win, at least in my experience playing on Hard. Even with a party of 3, taking on multiple enemies at a time can spell doom without preparation. Overall, great game. the absolute antithesis of the usual mindnumbing mobile experience
This is one of the best apps I have found. I have had well over 100 hours of gameplay for five bucks. Challenging enough to keep you interested, but still accessible for a casual/new RPGer. You could probably just play through on easy mode without too many issues, and explore and do quests without any grinding, and still win. Or, you can choose to grind some, in order to optimize and dominate. This game is easily be worth 20+ dollars. No regrets, happy supporting such an awesome developer.
I recommend downloading this game, it's fun, the storyline is great, and unlike mobile RPG games I've played, this isn't turn based combat. Although is lacks some things like texture, sound effects, particle effects etc, and I think there should be more to explore like the Ork kingdom, island of serpents, freeport, etc. It would be cool to have more special attributes than just immunity OR damage types like stability . Overall I think it's an 8/10, needs some development and variety to the game.
I've been waiting for a game like this feels so smooth and has several side quest to get lost with and have hours of fun, it is a little of a grind to level and get decent gear like the Rouge seems to not have as much armour options in stores as the other classes but that doesn't stop the fact this game is amazingly balanced. I just wish I had the money for the full game but still I love playing regardless brings back memories of games I haven't played in years
Fantastic game. It's the closest thing to Diablo II I've played on a phone. It has paid and free versions, and I bought the paid version before I even got to that part of the game because I knew I would want it. No adds, simple game play, and it doesn't pester you to buy the full version if you want to play the free one. 9.5/10 would absolutely recommend
If unsure on difficulty for first playthrough go casual, I wish I had. Even normal mode can be extremely punishing due to the restriction on saving. I like challenge but not the "lose an hours worth of progress for one mistake" kind of challenge. Or because the controls weren't responding which is an issue even outside of dangerous situations (at least when playing on mobile touchscreen). But aside from this it's a great game and worth the price.
