Been playing this game for nearly 4 years now. In that time the game has shifted from being great to average at best. Almost daily bugs/issues and now it is HEAVILY pay to win. This weekend event is trash. The challenge is immediately for a new legendary fish that can only be obtained via purchase. Major changes are needed or it will become unplayable.
Tried to recover my old account. Did everything that I was supposed to do. I tried contacting them in game, email, and through thier website as they suggest to do and still no help. Very disappointed with the games support system because at this point is nonexistent. UPDATE: over 24 hours later and still no help. Don't waste your time. There are better fishing games out there.
Pretty fun game just to pass time, but constantly freezes when playing competitions. Also, when playing skirmishes, game loads with not much time for you to compete, while your opponent already has a fish. Contacted support about this, and they gave me a small package of boosts, but not worth trying to continue to play. Do not spend money here, it'll all go to waste.
Impossible to even have a good time as a free player. I am used to pay-to-win games, where you can never reach the best tiers unless you pay. This game takes it a step further and makes it unenjoyable if you don't pay. I've played for two weeks pretty heavily and the only time I win anything is when the other player doesn't try. It makes you upgrade zones whether you are ready or not. Matching system is grossly inaccurate as levels are not even considered. I wanted to love this so much, but dont
Game was great at first then they send you back time and again for constant updates. Sometimes the updates wouldn't even install and the game crashes way to much during regular fishing and duel and championship rounds as well. I stopped spending money on the game. Why pay to play if you cant even install updates or play the game in the way it was intended to be played. Fix all the bugs and you'd have an excellent game.
The game is really fun to play, its really easy to get started, after you reach about level 50 tho, it starts to get hard theres no more new fishery events that help get you started in that new fishery, also you don't need to spend money, but you do need to spend a lot of time to this game. The packs you can win from winning duels take way to long to open, overall good game though!
Fun game: They do give you free stuff when things go wrong by the way, not every time, but sometimes. The frustating aspect of this game is the "Duels"; more often then not you fight against players far more advanced. If possible this should be a duel of close to equal opponents, very frustrating and pointless to play duels with advanced opponents.
I was fishing when it glitched on me. My rod would just sit there not catching anything. Closed the app and tried re-opening it. It got as far as the loading screen.......I deleted it and reinstalled and it made it worst but only getting to the first loading bar. I thought it was fun game to pass time but nvm.
This is not a four point anything star game. It may have been early in 2021 but recently for all of 2022 every review is three stars or lower with the exact same complaint by every single person including myself. It turned from a manageable game to a straight pay to win take your money and **** you after. The real rating of this game is a 2.1 at best. On the average day it's 1.1, as it's impossible to get any ranking in any mode without spending $50 or more at a time, real money not in game..💩
Good game, great graphics, but the battling and dueling flate out stinks. I did 8 duels in row and lost in all 8. It legit makes not want to spend another single penny in or on this game. I can not believe I wasted play points in buying things for this game, only to never win at duel. Yes I have built up skill levels. Do not waste your time. Also it's so beyond frustrating that the game legit never lets you win the lure you need for competitions.
Love the game. Freezes way to much. Dropping a key to three stars as have to spend to much money to win anything as the people playing are so much more advanced than you are. They should have different levels when it comes to duels as there is no way you can when against someone catching 12 star fish and you are just beginning. Think the game is rigged I am no longer going to spend money so probably won't play as much.
Absolutely loved this game until about 2 days ago. The game is now constantly freezing during duels and I get kicked from the game. When I'm able to get back on the game it says I lost duels that I was clearly winning before being kicked. I messaged Customer Support about the issue. I hated the response I got, and think it is unacceptable to be told there is nothing you can do for the items I lost due to an issue on your end. I will gladly change my rating of the game once something is done!
Players beware. This game is not a competition, it is an annihilation. Most events cannot be completed unless you buy packages. A lot of packages. Hope you're rich, they are not cheap, and if you buy they just get more expensive. You're ranked in a bracket with players on a similar level, but you are actually competing with players more than 100 levels ahead of you in the game. Game itself would be fun if it was a fair competition and could be played without breaking the bank. Frustrating
This game is a lot of fun, excellent graphics and the competition can be intense at times. However, it does freeze up during competition sometimes. Overall, very nice!
Some good content, duels are a major issue, coming up against players who have a tonne more points and unlocked a great deal more doesn't seem fair and becomes hugely frustrating. Players deliberately dropping points to get easier match ups. I've won 0 championships or anything and I'm being matched with players that have hundreds. It should be capped how many points players can drop as well as better match up facility. If doesn't improve then I'll find alternative!
This game was awesome but then they started with the new fish events. Those weren't bad until they made it extremely difficult to earn the new lure. This game has gradually shifted to pay to play which is unfortunate as I was more inclined to pay under the previous setup. I'm not buying 2 new fish every week to play the game.
Not a bad game, you don't have to spend money to play, but others do and you have to compete against them on occasions, but just like real life fishing you don't always catch the biggest fish when you want to, frustrating? Yes, but that's why it's called fishing and not catching... update, I've lowered to 2 stars on account that for the past 4 days I've been constantly kicked about halfway through a duel that I ended up wasting a lot of boosts getting more unimpressed by the day
I love the game but I have problem with buying lures and special offers. There is a question mark where price should be and when I click it the game restarts. Can you help me with this. Also it would be really good to put latin names of fish
Game would be good, but now been playing for a week or just over and it's totally pay to win but it looks like one of them that you will have to keep putting money in (more and more each time) if you want to win as it puts new players on the same level seasoned players, which has fully upgraded their fish. Deleted this game.
What have you done to this game? Just like hunting clash. Fun & first then more & more bugs till it won't even load sit & watch it spin while it's trying to load over& over with no success. Just downloaded new update & can't even open app now. Last chance uninstalling fishing & hunting clash both after years,& hrs.& hrs. of play. You ALL dropped the ball & messed up some good games!! What good does having a great game if you can't even get it to OPEN!!!
Fun game but unless you spend a lot of money expect to be frustrated. There is almost no way to grind out to be good. The tournements just put you in situations to spend more money. This would be my favorite game if I could spend 5 bucks a month and be competitive. The problem is you must spend 5 a day. Edit: Since my original review they have gone more extreme on the pay for play. It is almost unplayable.
This used to be and could be a very fun game to pass the time The graphics are good the competitions are short but fun. unfortunately they've decided to add new fish 6 to 8 times a month and charge $20 for each lure you need to compete In the challenges. seems to be a poor business decision IMO. I'm not dropping that kind of money on a game! If you've got deep pockets or a vast trust fund this game may be for you but for the average Joe...not so much.
Duels down when there is a duel tournament on. Unfairly matched, pay to win some of the times. Grind is hard but that's good. Would be an awesome game if they sorted the issues out. Duels also starting with 40s left is a complete joke. Sometimes not even loading at all. I have a s21 so it's not the phone or my Internet.
The game was great until about 8 months into the pandemic and then the rewards became terrible; I used more P'ups to win less. The game became winning less and charging more. I also think there are bots or people that have hacked the game, for example I saw someone had won over 6million Duel Rankings; how is that even possible 🤔and that's just 1 example. I'm just saying you guys need to get the game back to what it used to be FUN. It's IMPOSSIBLE to be fun when you've made it ALL ABOUT MONEY!!!
It starts to get really annoying with duels after a while because people who are like level 120 know that if they lose 1000 trophies then they can go against people who aren't as good as them so if the duels were more based on the skill that people have over the amount of trophies they have I would be happy to give 5 stars and other then the duels it is a great game
The game is awesome I love the lure mechanics, It doesn't give you ads unless you click on special offers, so that you can go through a good game experience without any interuptions. I also love the fact that you can experience this game on your phone, ipad, PC and laptop. It's a cool, creative, easy, simple and overall just a fun game that anyone should buy.
