Great when it works, which is intermittent at best. I have had my credit card frozen because of this app malfunctioning by hitting my credit card with multiple authorization requests for 1 transaction. Even if approved, the app will sometimes say sorry, can't do this now. Try again later. What? Like keep driving with little or no gas? Luckily the freezes are short-lived, but it is still a big pain. With all that money, is this the best they can do? If so, it's pathetic.
Pretty nice having a few extra bucks in my rewards account when we can't quite afford this expensive gas nowadays! When I first got this app over a year ago I think, it worked perfectly once but after that I had the hardest time getting it to work right! Probably user error though! Love the app now, easy to use and convenient! Although once struggled getting it to change gas stations recently. But only for a moment. Thanks ExxonMobil Rewards!
Used to work great last year. I could start the app with my fingerprint before but now that option is not there. It asks for your username and password. When you enter it it says something happened try again. I had to drive off without gas. If when you say you forgot your password it won't send anything to your email. The more you try the more it says something happened. Nothing has happened the last 5 times I tried to use. Even after removing it and downloading it again it worked once.
Pretty miserable app. For me, the main function of this app is paying and starting the pump without using my cards. That function works MAYBE 10% of the time. It lets you select a pump, and start the process, but then immediately cancels the exchange. Or. It just doesn't work at all, and won't let you even start the process. I've tried for years, through multiple different phones. Current a Pixel 3. Pretty disappointing.
Was great but not lately. Last 3 or so months, it's been quirky & problematic. Had to open & close numerous times before it recognized I'm at an E/M gas station. Most recently, it states 'Something happened. An error occurred. Please try again later' when trying to sign in. Unable to sign in & won't let me use 'Forgot password', type in email address, & submit. States 'Something happened. An error occurred.' Now I have to use my card. Very inconvenient!
I haven't had issues until recently. It signed me out and everytime I try to log in, it's says "Something happened! An error occured. Please try again later." I've tried uninstalling and redownloading. Whatever happened.. please fix this. I use a lot of money in gas but if this will be a consistent issue, I will go elsewhere.
I have had this app for 5 months and I and haven't been able to login. I keep getting an error message saying "something happened, try again later" every time. I have removed the app and reinstalled with the same results. I have never seen an app that will not work at all 🙁
This app is very convenient. The rewards earned have definitely saved a little cash and not having to pull out a card or go inside to pay have been time savers. I like that the app also is a more secure way to pay.
Later update - tried again today. Did fingerprint, it then wanted my user credentials. Again, why? Then it just sat there spinning, never opened. Cosed it, tried again, got try again later. Tried again, just spinning, won't open. Uninstalling now. Terrible. Tried to open at a gas station tonight, used fingerprint, then it wanted user credentials. WHY? Then I couldn't remember the password, had to reset, kept getting told "an error occurred, try again later." When, after I run out of gas?
What happened to this app? Ever since the last update the GPS is garbage. I go to the same stations I used to pump at normally and now it won't recognize the stations, sometimes for minutes at a time, sometimes not at all. It's become pretty unusable.
Everytime there is an update I have to delete and reinstall the app. It's tedious but perhaps this info will help others with problems with the app. Otherwise when I go to pay for my fuel it says it authorized the pump but it never does, so then I get stuck going inside the building.
All of a sudden the app won't log in. It has been working for awhile now I can't even log in through the android app on my S21+. I can log in on my computer no problem won't has to be either an Android of just my phone issue. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times. 01/25/22. Saga continues 04/12/2022. Well finally able to log in on my Android. It's been a while like 4 months and several password changes
I woukd give it full stars but it worked great and now I have no access to my account. It just keeps saying an error has occurred. I've Uninstalled and reinstalled. Frustrating to say the least... please fix!!!!
App does not work without wifi. Unable to use. I have screenshot if needed of the error received. I have cleared cache, data and force stopped and still does not work. Only on Wifi.
The app is not opening. I put my password and username in multiple times. The app will also shut down while your in the process of using it and you will be unable to receive points for said incident.
I have had problems with the app lately. Missed several points because app says to login each time and then say...error has occurred try again later. It used to stay logged in. Not sure what has happen recently
Amazing app!! Some of the stores that used to be with ExxonMobil Are still on there as Exxon stores. Maybe they could put in customer/user Feature to let let customers customers update what stores are no longer with ExxonMobil. And a way to make users/Customers more evolved with the app plus more features on the app like extra bonus rewards and so on. But love the app. Also connect with upside.
Useless app. Keeps failing to sign me in, even though I can log in with no problem at their website. Then when I do succeed in signing in, it logs me out the following day. This app used to work great until a month ago.
The app always shows that I'm nearby a gas station that I'm nowhere near, therefore it doesn't allow me to pre-pay for the pump that I'm actually at.....which is the only reason I even downloaded this app... 💩 I would use this app all the time if it actually worked.
This app is great when it allows you to pay at the pump. I have had no luck the past 2 times I tried to fill up. So disappointing, I love the rewards earned , but the main reason I downloaded it was to pay at the pump.
Bad bad bad. Sometimes I stop mobil station and app doesn't see it. Qr code does not work either. Other times I go to app pick a pump enter my pass code but the pump is still not on. I email the support and they always credit me points but this is such a waste of time. I keep asking the support to fix the applications issues but they neve respond to that part
App has been inconsistent lately. Says my password is wrong. I wait a few weeks and it allows me to log in no problem same password. Very frustrating and inconvenient. Why even download if you can not use it? Update 05/22/2022 I FINALLY had to give in and change the password to be able tonuse the app again. I had the same password since installing the app and never had problems until now. It allowed me to use it once. We will see how long it continues to work this time.
