After using this app for several years I have finally sold three photos.. for a penny each. Well, that was my share anyway. I have no way of knowing exactly how much they sold for. In addition, I cannot connect my PayPal account because the verification keeps going to an email that I no longer have access to even though I've changed my email in settings. I've contacted customer service several times with no response.

Short version: I would not entrust my photos to Eyeem as their customer support routinely ignores support requests, the app and site are both unreliable (currently, password resets are broken and a known good password isn't working,) and they offer no clear way to remove your personal data should you wish to do so. Longer version: I signed up for Eyeem for years ago as a less Facebook alternative to Instagram. I ended up not using it very often, but I do have a handful of photos saved to the site. I appreciated the interface and the setup, and found it pleasant to browse the higher quality photos its users offered. Recently, I decided I wanted to extract my photos and delete my account, so I sent a message to Eyeem support to ask for instructions on how to do so (there is no clear way to download originals on the site.) I received no response. I followed up via their support form about a week later and again received no response. Post-inquiry, I lost the ability to log into my account as my password no longer worked. I tried to reset it, but the password reset form is broken. So now I have no way to log into the account, no way to download the photos in the account, and (failing all else) no way to delete the account. Luckily, I did not end up selling photos so I'm not in the payment limbo some users are in. Still, I cannot recommend entrusting your photos to a non-responsive team of developers who appear to have abandoned their users.

NOT RECOMMENDED! Used to be good but changing the way they pay it became terrible. Selling under 10 USD, you can only claim your earnings in December and even now I can't get my money. Last year happened the same. They took their share of 75% and now, for the second year, I lost again my 25% share. Their emails are automated replies. Definitely deleting the photos and close the account. Not recommended

I like most things about the community, website and app but have found a few pain points that are very frustrating. 1. I can't find a way to delete photos outside of the app. The problem is the app only let's you get so far back by scrolling. So.... you're out of luck if you want to delete anything before that point. 2. I can't find a way to change my banner image in or outside the app. 3. There's an option to view albums you've subscribed to but no instructions on how find albums to subscribe to? It feels unfinished and like basic things like removing photos (!!!) Have been entirely missed.

Lately I am often logged out by no apparent reason. Moreover and often, while uploading a photo (which is indeed is up taken by the platform and is publishable by pressing save) I am presented with a black screen instead of the the editing filters page. It means the photo is not editable and can only be posted. 1 star only, for the moment. A user from the beginning of EyeEm.

Wow!.. I didn't expect this when I installed this app.... So Completely Awesome! It makes you feel like you're a professional photographer and artist right "out of the box!" I don't think a person could ever even use each and every option available in a lifetime, there's so much to try and ways to explore! Thank you guys, and gals, for all your hard work developing and maintaining this app for everyone! YOU ROCK!!

I have used EyeEm for some time and was very happy with it. Until a few days ago when I noticed hundreds of photos had suddenly disappeared. Also the ones accepted for partners. I have written mails and tried to contact them on Facebook but I get no reply. There seems to be no one dealing with user issues or they simply don't care. Very unprofessional in my opinion. I guess I will take my business elsewhere.

I like this app but there are a few issue. It uploaded my description wrong and every time i edit it, it doesn't save it, so it stays the same with words missing. Also, when i log on from my mac i can only see up to 15 of my photos, the others aren't there. When i checked from my friends phone some of my photos are missing. why is this? can anyone help please?

I lost the ability to login to my account by accidentally unchecking the Connect thru Facebook tab on the App, so when I logged in thru Facebook, it creates a new account. Sent emails to support without an answer back, no way to change password or email associated with the account because there wasn't one, cannot delete the account or photos, so I'll have to claim Copyright on my own photos from a new account. 🤷‍♂️

Love this app idea and execution. I am sharing with everyone I know, and/or meet. Though the mobile app and website, need some work, additions, maybe a "paid pro version/account" that has a live chat option for issues with app/website, verification help especially when the confirmation email sends you to the browser (and says that your account doesn't exist & your login information/email address is not associated with any accounts found on the server. I ran out of space to type.

If you are unable to travel the world, have the best and newest products, etc...its a waste of time. I'm not perfect, who is??? Some of my pictures have been recognized for purchase and then some. Being in the U.S. and keeping my photos nature and wildlife themed is too simple for EyeEms taste. I thought this was going to help me grow...instead it has only brought me down. My story isn't over yet...I still standing.

The app has been working good before, but now all of a sudden I cannot even upload pictures anymore! That is, I can upload, but pictures don't appear and do not exist on my profile even though it was a confirmed successful upload. Total number of photos is keeping up with the "successful uploads", so it says that I have the picture posted, even if it isn't. Sent a request for help, but I have not got any support regardless.

Doesn't make sense to add to market based on current trends, as trends change and not all are looking for "trends" + Photos that are in my Camera folder aren't suggested for upload, but the same photos are suggested if I move them to my VSCO folder. + Suggested Uploads is very different from EyeEm Selects. Photos that were suggested in the past aren't anymore. + There are top/featured photographers who haven't posted in months, some even years. + Market doesn't show every photo that's On Market.

It's definitely less stressful than Instagram, you're able to make money from your original photos if they're selected by the market, I honestly love eyeem because of that. I personally think the app is super low key but you can definitely get noticed by special people too. If you're tired of Instagram I would definitely suggest EyeEm to you

2 Major thing i wish eyem would consider bringing in to the application. 1. seperate sections for photos "under review" and "on market" and "not selected for market" 2. and a brief description of why a photo is " not selected for market" really feels crippled without them. but over all its an amazing and genuine application. though im just a begginer, some of my photos have been taken into the market and there are absolutely stunning works at display to be inspired and learn from.

I have now attempted to contact customer service three times in regards to my account. I started on this app, uploaded several pictures, even got accepted to the market. Problem is, I can't earn any money because I can't verify my email. I received the verification email, but when I click on the link it sends me to the website where there is no mention of verifying your personal information or email or anything else for that matter. Customer service has yet to respond to any of my tickets.

It was a great app to make some money, after some update (think last year) they started ripping off contributers. I remember earning 130$ for one photo, now I see 0.03$. I'm waiting for payout balance and closing down account. Edit: sorry it's not even 0.03$ it's 0.01$!!! Edit 2: No answer from support for over a week now, trying to remove all my photos from partner/market.

It used to be a good app, but there are much better apps out there now. Ive posted some beautiful pics that never made it to market. And other ones that were mediocre that did. Im not sure if they are reviewed by humans or what, but they have completely blackballed the amateur photographer over the past 2 years. Very little activity

Worst website and customer service I've ever had to deal with. Yearly payouts are in December. This is the second year in a row where I've had to attempt to contact customer service to try and get my money. This year (now Feb 2) I have not gotten anything yet and sent countless emails only to receive automated garbage saying I'll get my payout by "next week Wednesday." Yeah...... I haven't gotten anything. I just want my money and to delete my account. So done with eyeem and their BS............

This is a great App for photography enthusiasts. Good variety of filters and editing tools for your photos. There is a market with curated collections that allows you to sell your best snapshots. Socially not as big as Instagram but I think the concept is just different.

I have tried many photo sharing apps. I have to say this app by far has the most friendly atmosphere, its very easy to use. There are a lot of photographers of all levels from all over the world and If I have any questions everyone is so willing to help you better yourself. I love how they try to recognize everyone. I have a few dozen photos on the market have sold a few photos and other than offering a photo lic. the best thing of all NO IN APP PURCHASES. love it!!

Been on Eyeem for something like 5 years and it's always fun. The staff is great! when they say the Eyeem community is like family, it's true. I've learned a ton about how to be a better photographer through the people I've met in the Eyeem community. The filters and editing tools are great for quick on-the-fly masterpieces. Click-edit-post-get feedback-repeat. Fun.

Beware Your picture will be worth 1 cent each. The app is good only if you are willing to give them the right to have your pictures for free. It went from 2.39 then 1.59, then .59, then .29 then .01 cent. Not worth it.
