Since the latest update, I have trouble loading some images. I can see the preview but whenever I click on it to see it entirely, the image goes black and just never loads. I first was like "Hey, I might just have a slow connection or something". But it's optic fibre. It fixes itself a few minutes later. Website works fine either on PC or on this smartphone (using any browser)

Issue with typing- after reading the reviews I'm not the only one. If I'm typing and I click back into the body of text to alter what I have previously typed, I can no longer type from any other part of my text- it keeps jumping back to where I made the correction. Trying to run a business via the app, it's making it extremely difficult. I'm also finding, after closing a video, Facebook will continue to play the audio for the video for quite some time. It also randomly closes when I'm scrolling

There is ALWAYS something wrong with this app. When one issue finally gets fixed, 3 more issues will take its place. For the past few days, it's been impossible to type when I'm trying to post a status or a comment. If I try to change (edit) something before posting it, the cursor will randomly jump back into the middle of a sentence or a word and start typing there. This is so frustrating. Thank goodness FB has a mobile website for us to use instead.

Typing has become a nightmare lately, to the point where it's easier to just type stuff somewhere else and then just copy and paste what you wanted to say. You cannot edit text, and if you try to edit something without deleting everything it will jump you somewhere near the end and screw up whatever else you typed. I thought it was my phone, but no, everything works perfectly well, except for Facebook, and it's really annoying.

The audio automatically plays on videos in feed and does not match with what is happening in the video. I always have to turn sound off and then click on the video and start it over. Doesn't load all pictures in my feed. A lot are just white/blank. Also a lot of gifs and stickers will not load either. Always something that isn't working right. Randomly closes on me also.

When I try to correct a mistake while posting, if I go back to that area and start correcting, the cursor jumps to the end. To try resolving this, I tried uninstslling and reinstalling the app, and when I reinstalled it, not only did it take away dark mode, which I prefer, but it also seemed to have reverted back to an earlier version of Facebook and when I go to Google play to update, it doesn't come up on my update list.

Latest issue is with typing. I thought it was just me, until I read that it was happening to others also. FB has been updated & also deleted then reinstalled. If I try to correct something I wrote mid-sentence, the insertion point line automatically keeps jumping to other sections in my text. This results in me having to delete everything up until this point and retype. Not great when you have a small business to run...

Tons, tons, TONS of bugs in the most recent update. So many that the app is borderline unusable and has been for at least a week. Cursor jumps around while typing comments, navigation links are straight-up broken, a multitude of display issues... I mean, the first-party Facebook app has never been good, but this is downright terrible. Side note: it's been several years since they removed the ability to change the page you're interacting as and haven't added it back. iPhones can though 🤷‍♂️

I don't know what is going on with the app. It never used to do this before but now it has. Whenever I am trying to log in, it would keep saying over and over again Session Timed Out. If I log in, it would be acting strange like there is no connection when I am on the wifi. I had to keep restarting the app and deleting and restarting and still does it.

The keyboard typing has been acting up, over the past week. At certain points, the cursor jumps around and misplaces characters. It's really annoying and quite frustrating. I've seen others having this same issue. Other than that, the app works fine. Once that problem has been addressed, I'll gladly leave another review.

FIX THE TYPING ISSUE IN COMMENTS. When typing a comment/post, if you go back to change a word it completely messes up the flow with the cursor, predictive text, and character input. It's the most frustrating bug ever.. happening on two different Samsung S22 Ultras and a Pixel 6 Pro, so I know it's not just an issue with my model phone, the install of the app on my phone, or my keyboard/Android software. I remember this happening about 5 years ago. Get it together over there!!

After uninstall and reinstall I've now lost everything on my Facebook pages, no friends, photos, news feed, posts, nothing whatsoever. I've logged in successfully but there is nothing there. I only did it because I was experiencing the same issue as others with the cursor jumping around in a random fashion when trying to edit a post. Can someone from FB please contact me to resolve this. I've gone around in circles on the help pages but to no avail.

Having the same trouble as lots of other reviewers. The cursor and autocorrect are not working intuitively. You have to use tte spacebar often 2 or 3 hits to get the cursor to position itself where you need it to make corrections. Even if it shows in the correct place, it can jump elsewhere so you're typing in the middle of a previous word. It fails to capitalise i, or put in regular apostrophes, which we've become used to... Really frustrating!!!

Just this week, I've had problems with typing my comments. If I move my cursor to anyplace in the previously typed comment, the cursor jumps to the end of the comment every time. I have a Samsung Android, if that makes a difference. The only workaround is to post the message then immediately go into Edit and I can fix it without the jump. This just started this past week, so whatever Facebook did to it broke the text entry function.

Recent Android update has meant that I can only delete text from the end of the body of text I'm typing, I can't delete in the middle by moving my cursor. This is only an issue in Facebook, no other apps. Entirely frustrating. Thought I would just reset to the factory version of the app to fix it, but then it won't even let me open the factory version of the app. And of course thanks to Samsung and Facebook being in bed together, I can't even delete the damn app off my phone.

This app hasn't worked right for weeks. Marketplace is a joke, it won't save items most of the time and you can't even see your collections anymore. When I try to type a response to a post the words get all jumbled and the words are badly misspelled. I have cleared my cache and also uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times but it still hasn't fixed it. It's become a major disappointment.

It's a mess. I second the typing/cursor issue that everyone is talking about. Also, the video playback doesn't work for reels It's like a screenshot of a video, unless you click the music thing in the bottom left corner, then it will take you directly to the video. Please fix. It's a pain to use right now.

Facebook is the worst. The newest update moves the cursor to the end of the line every millisecond making it impossible to edit text you've already written. Then the groups button vanished and is no longer on any of the settings menus. Finally, when I reinstalled fresh to try to correct these issues, I lost the dark mode option as well!

I don't know what's been going on like I enjoy the content from it but when I try to reset a page looking for newer posts that come up, it just keeps saying error and/or it just times out and it doesn't finish loading the newest post, it just sticks to the screen before I tried resetting. I'm just thinking that it's the app because I checked the Internet and it doesn't seem to be the cause. So stupid in how it happens.

I'm not sure what is happening but the last several days, typing is glitching really bad and doing weird stuff. It isn't my phone or keyboard. Everything works fine on every other app on my phone, it is only FB. Words are doubling, I can't go back to correct things with the curser, the curse is jumping all over the place. I have a galaxy 21. PLEASE FIX THIS!

Just poor coding... Doesn't let me upload more than one photo at a time in posts but other people in the same groups can add 80 photos and videos to their posts. This issue is the same using the app on my phone as well. 🙄 When I try to sign-in it constantly says Session Expired over and over and over and over... Then I get asked if it was my account I signed out of or some other unknown account. 🙄 The app has become frustrating to use!

Since update: When you try to type, the place it is putting the letters jumps around so your post looks like you smashed your forehead on your keyboard. Then you can't even delete it because the cursor jumps around during that as well. If you try to go into a sub thread and go back to main post and responses, it jumps all the way back to the main feed. Crashes constantly. Log in issues. I've been a FB member since year 1 in college and I'm sick of the constant changes for the worse.

A recent change to this app has made it virtually impossible to edit posts. The cursor always jumps to the end of the post. The only way to edit the post is to copy the text that you want to keep after the edit, then delete the entire message from the end back to where you want to edit, then paste the copied text after editing. Either that, or editing in a separate notepad app, then copy/pasting into Facebook.

Gone backwards over the years. Been using it forever but never seems to get better, just worse. In particular more recently. I guess that's what happens when you don't care about your customer anymore and just what you can get from them. It's only a matter of time when the older generation such as myself give up on it due to the bugs, lack of innovation, etc. Then with limited new people it will eventually die. A long way off but it feels those responsible for this app know that.

Most of the things you want to do can't be done here. The marketplace is disgusting, there are no sortings, no proper filters, even if you write specifics in the search, it still shows completely different products. It doesn't matter in the states, but dudes, do you realize that there are countries in which the marketplace is the number 1 place to sell old things?

Jumping Cursor Problems - I have reported this issue to Facebook, but no response yet. It started 4 days ago after an update: Typing is normal until you want to go back and insert a word or correct something. When you place the cursor mid-text and start typing it jumps back to the end of the sentence. My workaround is to compose my comment in a text editor, then paste it into Facebook. Hopefully it will be fixed soon?

The app is useful for staying connected with your friends, colleagues, and family members. It works smoothly; however, it has so many unwanted & duplicate groups that have become redundant. The app's best feature is creating posts, which help to inform the social circle of the things going on in your life. I wish it had a feature to merge profile content and create a single profile. It would help legit people to decrease their accounts and ease their burden of switching accounts.
