Facebook Lite

Entertaining application. A better version than the original Facebook because you can "view" all of your notifications without actually viewing them and that way the app doesn't push you to open them anymore. Still needs work: I regularly have issues saving a post. Also, some things in the app are badly designed, like how when you open a friend's post that they have shared, it shows you other random videos, not other videos that the friend has shared.

Very hit and miss. Sometimes it works well,other timed it just stalls, and stalls, and stalls. It is basically a mobile web browser version of Facebook. Uploading photos can be tedious and often freeze and fail to load. And if you sign out of the account. It can take 10-15 minutes for it to load up and bring you back to the sign in screen. It supposedly isn't a resource intensive and battery killing; however from what I've seen, it is just as bad as the regular FB app in terms of battery use.

Why every good thing has to be bad at some point. This app is very easy to use. I always prefer this app over the original one because of it’s in app message service. Also it doesn’t consume so much space. But recently I am having so many issues like I can't watch any story. Whenever I open any story it constantly start changing and I can't even stop it. Sometimes when I type long message it automatically refresh itself and I lost the written content which is very annoying.

The regular Facebook app wouldn't load past the splash screen. Just kept crashing. Even after I deleted it and reinstalled. So I'm glad this app still works for me. I think there's something wrong with the latest update of Facebook. Hopefully they fix it soon. However, so far I haven't found anything this lite version can't do over the full one.

I really like Facebook lite because it's very convenient and easy to use especially if you don't have a strong internet connection or data. I don't really like the update I mean lite became pretty but other than that the comment section looks like Chrome and some of my friends didn't like it also. The old one is better and nicer, I hope you will consider bringing it back or changing it. thank you.

Promises with little delivery. Videos still auto-play. Android notifications don't take you to the post; sometimes they take you to the top of your feed in the app, sometimes they don't do anything. Half the time the same notification re-appears after leaving the app or doesn't disappear at all. There is no Parent Dashboard for those using Messenger Kids. There is a display telling you that, but it stays open for only half a second. When you save a post, it always says displays a quick "Unsaved" and then disappears. In all, this app has very little quality control. More like an afterthought.

I've always tried to avoid Facebook but recently decided to try it out. I'm finding this app's notifications to be buggy and extremely obnoxious. I have to deal with each notification twice. There's the initial notification and the repeat after I open the app. Until I open the app, the notifications are stockpiled to blast all at once when I finally do open it. Being notified a second time is pointless. Being notified 30 times in 2 seconds is absurd. This indie company needs to ramp up QA.

Hi, good evening. I have a challenge. I've been trying to update my profile, and upload my stories but it's not working. And whenever i tried to do so, it automatically exits. Please help me out. Thanks, though your app is amazing, but i think there should be more features like . Been able to change my color, just the way I can switch to night mode.

A lot of issues. When posting pictures to a group all of your text gets deleted. You have to edit the post and add the text all over again. When notified of a new post within a group, once you click on the notification it takes you to a completely different post or different group. This had been happened since the last update. On Android 11.

Having issues that won't go away. 1) After I post something, when I click on a notification, it brings me back to the post...even though I have already posted it. 2) When I'm scrolling, FB brings me back to the top and I have to find where I left off. 3) My notifications won't clear even after opening any of the notifications or clicking clear all.

This app is full of glitches and overall doesn't work properly. Marketplace is especially bad. I often have to go onto Facebook using my laptop because the app simply DOES NOT WORK. It's extremely annoying for business especially since the notifications don't show up on time. They'll come through hours later and I normally see them first through my email.

This app is very convenient when it comes to knowing the latest happenings a'right but seriously? It's been months already but I still can't open my saved and everytime I try to click my friends name on the chat, it will always say that there's an error happening. I thought the issue would be fixed because it's been months people! Please,just please, fix this already because it really is very inconvenient and such a drag.

FB has sucked from the beginning. MySpace was always better written as a website. The built in browser is all but useless and crashes constantly while having no option to use a real browser by default. The Story function fast forwards through all pictures to the last one and cannot be turned completely off no matter what. The app has no access to my microphone, but keep showing me ads for things I have only ever mentioned verbally. Ehat do you expect when FB outsources server space overseas?

I had a lot of issues with the Facebook app, since the time I downloaded Google authenticator. Each time I logged in I got the "session expired" notification and in the last week I couldn't access the app any more. So I decided to give this Facebook lite a try, despite the negative reviews I've seen here. Well, it is working fine! I can say the opposite of what the other reviewers said. It is fast, it is conceived with a different interface that I like very much. Great!

A few days ago, i began having trouble opening facebook lite and thought it was normal. When i tried and opened it again, it refuses to load, staying in one dot. My friends told me to uninstall then reinstall the app, i tried and cached data and even restarted my own phone. But up until now, it just stayed loading and telling me i wasn't connected to wifi when i WAS connected. Please fix this, not just for me but for the rest experiencing the same thing.

Way slower than the main Facebook app with the same connectivity although it is made with the intent of helping people at low-connectivity areas and at low data cost. Also, recently, while reading comments under a post and you click to check out someone's profile, it doesn't bring you back to where you read the comments up to when you click to go back to the comments but takes you back to the beginning of the comments. Generally, the updates just make the app worse time after time.

Doesn't even open any more. Annoying sounds that play when you click like are there even if you turn sounds off. Often Won't even open. Just stays on the first flashing dot. I have posted this review twice before and twice someone has deleted it, I will be reporting this to Google.

Facebook lite version app is quite okay 👍 it's almost similar to Facebook, but i have found some temporarily issues like, 1. Auto playing ⏯️ story is not worked here, 2. I couldn't write ✍️ any caption on my profile photo nor on cover photo too, So kindly fix it on next update. BTW this lite version is quite better than the Facebook. Thank u 🙏.

Can you fix this one problem... I can't switch to data mode if I'm using mobile data.. But if I'm using WiFi it's so easy... I'm using mobile data and click the "use data to see photos" it appears in top of my phone... The only button is cancel.. It's so annoying.. I need to connect to wifi.. Just to fix it... I hope you can fix this fast

I'm wondering what happened with the old facebook cause this version is very bad shame. Very very bad, I even feel 1 star is too much... I tried deleting and reinstalling the app but nothing different happens, it keeps saying "something went wrong" in each and every little thing I do. I comment on a post "something went wrong" I react on a post same thing, I do this still the same. I'm getting soo frustrated and slowing losing interest in using it... Fix this ASAP please

yeah it's a good app. i enjoy using it but lately i experienced some problem using it. it say that "We had a problem with the page you tried to reach. We hope to fixed it soon." that problem always popped every time i open this app. edited: i opened my another account that undergo with deletion and when i open my inbox it says "no messages yet" i have a lot of unopened messages there but i can open and read those messages. i already update my facebook lite but it remains the same. help me pls.

Not compatible with Dark Mode on my device. If the app is set to Dark Mode, toolbar icons become invisible if DM is switched on on my phone. If my phone is in DM but it's switched off on the app, most text is unreadable as it's dark grey on a black background. Why no setting to just follow the phone theme like other apps?

Its a great app for messenging and posting something on fb lite but i have a small problem. In forwarding videos on my friend and my teacher in a certain video,it says try again and nomatter how many tries i take it still didnt send. I hope you fix this problem as soon as possible.

Everytime i accept any post on my group it just exists, when i accept memeber requests it gets stuck, and its playing streams automatically on data without my permission! All those billions you couldn't make an android app work properly. Edit : now when in the middle of watching a video Facebook out of nowhere refreshes my feed and that video i was watching is lost, because it wants me to keep scrolling , absolutely the worst app ever

The app is good, but I have a concern about watching live on fb... I can't seem to change the quality of the video or the app really not have the options to do so, so pls add a feature of changing the quality of live videos.. it will really help many users to save their mobile data.

The app is very good for any facebook user.What makes it to have three stars from me is that it uses a lot of bundles and is somehow slow.I know there are many versions of this but what I urge the developers is that to come with a new of this version which not only uses less data but also you can see photos without data.

It saves data but it has a lot of bugs ... when posting, 1. text and pictures often disappear in the posting process and 2. The app goes into free mode at the slightest network issue and refuses to reverse to data mode

It has become better to use with some notifications still not showing up but at least it shows them all in the app. Just need the comments to show lol I have all my notifications turned on in the settings and in my phone so I don't know what's going on. Please help
