I have a suggestion and a complaint, I would like a edit mode where you could move rooms around for less caps then deleting the room and replacing it elsewhere because it gets expensive and i would like to not spend real money. My complaint is that when trying to access the in-game store, if I don't have good connection to wifi somewhere in my house, it gets stuck on a loading screen. I would rather not have to restart the game everytime I have a bad connection. Otherwise, amazing game, 11/10
At the beginning it is really entertaining, however as you reach more than 100 dwellers, build rooms and create every theme, there's pretty little left to do. There are no options to switch the order of the rooms in the vault, you need to destroy everything if want to change a room that's between other two. There are only new missions but no other incentives to keep playing the game.
Enjoyable strategy/bldg/sim game. Can spend as much or as little time as you want on it. Enjoyed game for several months.... Even spent significant money on upgrades.... Then this evening the game crashed and my fault I have worked on for months disappears. Uninstalled and reinstalled the game and now I can't get off the splash screen. Very disappointed.
I really enjoy this game but it has its issues. The one annoying me the most is the ad timer bug. I think Bethesda aren't bothered about fixing this as it's been an issue for a long time, and if they don't fix it, it pushes people to pay more to play (as you can't get freebies when the ad timer is 1000+ hours). Sometimes the zoom and select is a bit glitchy but it's not much worse than most games to be honest. I really wish they'd fix the ad timer bug more than anything!
I had a fun time with this game. I decided to play it because I really like fallout 4. The only reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 was because I suddenly can't watch the ad for a free item for 1820 more hours. THATS ALMOST 3 MONTHS! Please fix this as soon as possible. Edit: It no longer has the long wait time but now it won't let me watch the ad at all because it says I am offline when I have a perfect connection. Someone please just get it to work the way it used too.
"War, War Never Changes" For this style of game, it is spectacular! The management part starts getting overwhelming at times. However, for the most part, the rewards can be quite sufficient. The prosper factor sets the mood, with added reminiscent elements of the other Fallout games. You can play this fairly effectively with little to no money invested. Very few if any micro-transactions are even necessary in order to play this properly. This is an all around great game!
Fun game so far....I've gotten pretty far. I like that I can miss a day and it's OK. I have spent some monet but I don't think it's required. I wish I had a better understanding of the build process when I started. I would have placed buildings better. Make sure to lign up your elevators and most main buildings, food, power, water. Build them 3 across, they will merge into 1 large room. That's where I messed up. I'm at over 100 survivors and still having fun.
I have an idea that may benefit the players and developers both. I am having trouble with the "Advance 30m" button when I send a dweller to the wasteland. I am given a notice that tells me to recheck my internet connection and to try again (even though I have a perfect connection). Since this feature is down and not a great idea to have had to begin with...Why not have some mini game feature that allows players to scavange the wasteland themselves? They can play as the dweller they sent out.
Love it. If you build your vault well you play longer, otherwise after 2 days and 10 vaults later . I'm getting more of a handle on my vault. But I go fast to where I have nothing left to do but wait. It's really cool to see the fallout franchise to carry strong into the future. Come on fallout New York or something crazy. Fallout universe. Infinite destruction cataclysmic whatever it is. I can't wait!
Disappointing. I played this game fairly aggressively once I got it. And never had issues. But once I shut it down it struggles to load back up. Every time it loads into my vault the game freezes and crashes. I've deleted and re-download the game a few times but it still crashes multiple times while loading until it finally works. Ain't nobody got time for that.
The game is interesting, challenging and tactical strategy is needed for the survival of my people. But i would like to request a feature that will make a lot of player will benefit specially to tose who can't play persistently. That's why i rate it 3 stars only, please add a pause feature to pause the gameplay in background mode. Because the checker on storage area doesn't't have the features that collects the produced resources while we(the players) are out.
Ive been a fan of fallout since the origional vault 13 for the PC. Wasnt sure if this style of game was a good choice for the genre, but This game is suprising fun. I thought I'd get bord with it after awhile , but I've been playing for 3 months now and still enjoy playing every day. I love the fact that you can spend money to develop characters faster, but you dont have to spend money to play and advance. And the money they do ask for goes a long way if you use it right.
Would give 5 star as ive been playing since release and love this game as a passing time kind of game, but unfortunately the game crashes repeatedly. Mostly upon start up, but sometimes while playing. Playing the game on a samsung galaxy note 10+. Never had issues before. Re-installed yesterday, and it wont stop crashing. In a 30 minute time span, the game crashed on me about 5 times
Not your typical Fallout game. Reminds me of the base management in XCOM just with the Fallout theme on top. After getting burned out with 76 and the lack of things to do there, Shelter is a nice change of pace for me. I just hope there's a family tree or some way to identify the kin of the dwellers and maybe some traits to make them more special. That's what made soldiers in XCOM and the Valkyria series much more difficult to lose emotionally. You care about them like people. But hey! Good job
This is spectacular. I simply cannot be more impressed with this app. People say it needs an ending, but it really works without it. Ads are optional and grant generous rewards, the quests are fun, and the art style is iconic and beautiful. If you're looking for a good game to install, this is the one.
Not sure what the hell they did recently but this game won't even load anymore. I enter the vault from the main menu and then after a few hint slides, it stops and freezes. I tap on the screen and it closes out completely. Clearing cache, uninstallong, and force stopping the app does nothing. STOP BREAKING YOUR GAMES WHEN THEY DON'T NEED TO BE "FIXED!"
Every year once I hit end game i tend to restart. And over the years coming back to this game Im pleasantly surprised. Sure there are options of paying. And some actually make sense. But you really don't have to spend money to advance. Just some patience. It is actually a really rewarding experience. A very charming game. For me the best part is that it is offline (unless you want your ad watch bonus). Train rides are fun now. Overall I have to admit that I adore this game. Don't believe? Try
The game does become addicting trying to earn every Lunchbox that is available to unlock to see what you get. My only real complaint is the character targeting system, very difficult aim at an enemy and most of the time it's a useless feature, the dweller just stands there while he/she gets hit while your trying to get the yellow indicator to pop up. It's also a waste of money to fully upgrade the vault door because Raiders still blast in just slightly less time.
Very fun game! At the start, it's very difficult to keep your dwellers happy and keeping the food, water, and power high. Once you get the hang of it, it's difficulty curve is amazing! It's never too difficult or too easy. And let's talk about the wastleland. The diolog for the adventures for the dweller's is so interesting! When im waiting for more caps or any of water, food, and or power, i'd be reading the diolog! Masterpeice of a game! I would rate it more than 5 stars if I could!
A great game with no 1 right way to play it. But lacks reason for players to continually play after a certain amount of time. The main reason i found was the 200 dweller limit. As well as 50 lvl limit and Special stat limit of 10 that clothes doesnt affect. Of a play style with a few level up stations continually leveling up dwellars, players runout of drive to continue play after a few months. So yeah players will come but ,unnessary limits placed everywhere keep them from wanting to come back.
This game is so much fun. However I do have a little complaint. While setting up feels really good, once you get to a certain point you can't do much. Or the game becomes pay to win. I love big booty Latinas. Once the game reaches this point its very boring. I currently have 100 dwellers in a vault and can't really progess much more than I already have. Hopefully they add more events or just content in general. Because while this game od absolutely amazing, it can get a little tedious/boring.
This game is awesome! Seriously, the more they add the better. Maxed the standard mode! Just began survival mode, it's legit a challenge and realistic. When your dwellers die, they die. ... Makes every one of them that much more important! Definitely the pick up I needed because standard mode became a drag over I got the hang of it.
I think it's a really nice game. The art style looks a lot like some cartoon from the fifties, and i like that. One of the best things is that you can do almost anything with the vault. But i do think that the rewards for quests should be increased, as currently they are not as good as just sending someone to the wasteland. The difficulty isn't too high, but it's high enough for you to feel like you accomplished something, which is good. It's not pay to win and i feel like it deserves 5/5.
Crashing frequently now. I'm at 64 people now and it is starting to freeze up so I can't even get started. It's a fun way to pass the time but it's getting really frustrating not being able to just play the game without having to close the app completely and then reopen it just to finish whatever task I was doing. Maybe an update or some bug fix can help improve the game, otherwise I'll probably uninstall it.
