Fan Remote Control

We have an old Holmes upright fan (model HASF2122RHD) The remote stopped working, but several of the buttons in this app work to control the fan. Specifically, the Lasco "Breeze" button, and the Nile and Sharper Image "Mode" button work. This is great, because I dont have to get out of bed if I wake up because its too hot. Thanks a lot, SDF Team. If you have a paid version, or a method for donating, Ill be sending some money your way.

It doesn't work. There are only 5 fan brands listed and no matter which one is selected I receive an error that my fan model is not supported. After a phone reboot same thing. Useless app

It doesn't work. & based on all your feed back , you think that you would have taken care of the problems with it not working but I guess you don't care. If I could give this app a big fat zero I would.

It doesnt work. I dont want to get up and turn it on myself. I own a 2014 Lasko wind tunnel. With remote but lost it.

Claims Lasko compatibility, but won't control any of three different domestic Lasko fans.

This didn't work on my Lasko at all. There are no configuration settings or help. Uninstall.

The app appears to be well made. However it would not control my Lasko fan model 2519.

Told me my device wasn't supported after I selected Lasko.

Worked on my holms when i first down loaded it but had stopped working even after updating. Could be a result of a setting change some where in my tablet? It was worth a try. I may have to review my settings.

It gives 5 choices for your device. After picking any of these, it says that your device is not supported.

Literally exactly what I needed but only thing is that you don't support Bionaire tower fans. Would be great if you could add that to the list as other IR remote makers have got the codes for the fan just not exactly easy to use of it isn't a t.v. - will certainly give this full rating if so :-) Zack

I was very upset about my remote when it stop working. I have to go and change the mode and especially at night I am very lazy to go to set time, to change mode, and to off. But now I am happy to have this great remote. Thanks to everyone for your brilliant thought & hard work for the betterment and upliftment of the people. I dropped my rating for this app from 4 stars to 3 stars after changing my phones and discovered that my LG G3 and LG L90 were not supported. I haven't tried the app on the HTC one yet. Works with Binatone. Great app. The "Orion" option controlled all the functions on my Binatone standing fan. However, the "off" button on the remote performs On/Off function while the "on/speed" performs speed change only (ie, it doesn't power on fan). I reserve the fifth star for when the UI is better designed.

Lasko Tower Fan Model #4824 works great! I have another older model #4822 Lasko Tower fan but it doesn't work on that one. Hopefully they will have an update that would work on the older model. I'll come back and change it to 5 stars if that happens. Update: worked well for a while then stopped working all together. Going from 4 stars to 1.

I have the Lasko 42" Wind Curve tower fan. This app "sort of" works, as I have to press the buttons many times before it responds. I realize there's thousands of codes for a brand name, so why not let us choose a specific model to eliminate "4 or 5" presses to make it work? Just a thought. Note 3 Stock Jellybean. *Update* Without contacting you (the author) I use the "Orion" selection for my Lakso "Windcurve" tower fan & those commands work perfectly, with each press. Raising one more star to 4.

Great app! Trying to control everything in my home with this galaxy s5 and I'm getting there with the help of devs like this. I have a Lasko tower fan that didn't work selecting the option Lasko (beta), but works perfectly with the Orion option.
