5 stars if there is a feature which filters names by the first letter. Then it'll be perfect. Edit: I meant a feature which filters name in that way when generating names not in your own list. And the feature which was added only allowed for names to be sorted alphabetically, not by any letter, which leads me to believe this review was misunderstood

App is amazing, been using it for nearly everything I need to name in my DnD campaign/world. Amazing uniqueness and variety in names for all the different generators. Though some QoL improvements would be nice, such as a "Filter by" or "Sort By" for but the lists and names by Alphabetical, Newest, Oldest, etc. And a function to put generated names into a selectered list directly from the generator. I don't know how this stuff works though so I don't know if that's easy.

It's the best, I love this so much. I use this app for a long time, and it never disappointed me tbh. If you want to write a fantasy novel, I recommend you this app 100%. It has fantasy names for kingdoms, humans, any kind of beast or demons, it has creatures that you never heard about. Great app! <33

I use it all the time to name my oc's, been using it for about two years now. I have never ever ran into any issues. This might possibly be the best name generators the store has to offer

There's a great selection of names for your fantasy or sci-fi inspired playthroughs. As a GM of my own homebrew, I constantly defer to FaNg for names both on the fly and for setup. Would recommend to anyone into the tabletop experience!

I've been using this for a good while and it's my go-to for when I'm struggling with name choices. I love the names that show translations and it offers a huge variety of them on top of almost anything else you can think of! I would certainly rate more stars if possible, my only recommendation is maybe more names with translations? A really great choice, all the same, whether you're naming a faction, place, person, or thing.

Awesome app! As someone who suffers from being stuck to choosing a name (for any kind, people, city names, etc) this app really helped me. Keep up the good work! Here's a suggestion: maybe add a button somewhere where we can contact you? I kinda want to help add content of names from my own country, but adding a contact info should definitely should be considered :)

This is absolutely fantastic! There are different worlds and species to choose from, which makes it SO much easier to find names for characters and for games. The set up is very simple to use and there are no bothersome ads like other generators have! If I could give more stars, I 100% would.

It has been immensely helpful in the fanfiction stories I writer (I don't own anything) and I easily reccomend it to everyone else. However, if I'm going to be honest, I'd prefer a computer app which would be able to hold more data for more gens. However, I find this one suits me well because several of the generators have different options. Some are even broader in case of names, sucha s the RPG Lists with their names. Some of them I haven't even heard of but they sound interesting. I love it!

We sometimes like to name a treasured inanimate object, like a house or a car or a tree. The name has to capture distinctive qualities and/or valued functions of the item. The app really helps jumpstart imagination! Also is easy to navigate. Ads are not blocking the content.

I would have rated 4 stars, until I tried exporting my saved names list and I just get "error" messages. I tried both "expert list" and "export", and both gave me an error pop-up. Yeah that completely made this useless to me. The entire reason I was using this was to save the names I like to print out. But your app keeps showing error whenever we export. Not okay. Fix that, and I will rate again.

Unable to export & I don't see anyway to save names to a text-editable format. I would like to support the developer to keep working on this app, provided they demonstrate that they are providing continued support as well.

Absolutely great names! However, I'd love it even more if it had Dragon Age names, as the Elvan and Qunari names are things I struggle with when doing a new playthrough. It would also be super cool to maybe see things such as Werewolves, fairies, etc. Under the Other category. All around though I absolutely love this app and have been using it for about 2 years now for writing and game playthroughs.

I really love how much versatility there is to it, and how well it plugs directly into RPG Notes. Really awesome program. I believe the "Places" section can be further flushed out but it seriously is a great program.

This app makes me happy. Before I used it, the website made me happy. It's come a long way since it started but is now the leader of all the naming generators out there. There's so many options with so many subcategories and side categories. From fantasy to football... Real names to clubs... It's got you handled. If you need a name and you can't find it here there's something with the universe..

This app is wonderful, easy to use and store name ideas, and is very diverse in it's name selection, which makes it ideal whenever you have writer's block while trying to create a new character or name a new ship. I love it!

The only thing I would like to request is either clarification on whether or not these japanese names fall under the "cool sounding" names type of concept in japanese media or if these are more realistic and suitable for a very grounded type of rpg experience(to avoid bad practice on either route)... or two modes, one for each. lol but that's a ton of work.

as a writer this app is exceptional! I have trouble finding names sometimes and this app is there for me! It is everything I need and even goes the extra mile. there are names that you don't hear often and that's rare! I absolutely love it! if you are a writer and struggle with names, this app is definitely for you! 10/10 have recommended it to a lot of people and a lot of my followers! the only thing is I wish it would have a lot more categories but you can just go on the website for that!

Fabulous! Simple to navigate, easy to use, but Very extensive! It's even fun to "play". A top - level tool in roll play adventure games, makes character development much easier. Top app, no glitches, not too big, ads are nominal - some are even interesting.

Still keeping the 5 star review. This app has been so useful in helping me select names (surnames to be precise) for my stories I write for my now 13 year old. He loves them and keeps asking for more! If it wasn't for this generator, I would be at a total loss. I donated some money to you to keep this app running. I wish it could have been more, but I don't dare sell my work knowing I use this app for help.

This app is really nice and simple. It could probably use a few quality of life adjustments to make it better, but when you are just looking for some quick names for almost anything, this app covers the basics and beyond. side note, would love to see genies/Genasi names added to the D&D list. Perhaps with a filter for the four elemental variants?

Offers an insane amount of options. 10 categories with dozens of subcategories, all unique and interesting! Updates are not frequent but when they do come, they add a good chunk of content. Clearly, thought and care are put into each update. Looking forward to seeing all the new stuff!

This is the best fantasy name generator you can get!! I use it all the time for writing books and other things related. The only problem is that if you save names and don't get on then it deletes all of the names. Please fix this and I will give five stars!!! 😁😁😁

Pretty good, could use a function to move names and lists around to organize everything better if they're not in the user's prefer order. Also, words keep resetting when I try to write in the description and I have to repeatedly fix it to keep the changes.
