fanSync

it's a little slow to load so it's faster to just get up or use the remote (which also has a slow response). this app should be a widget that is ready for you to use when you wake up your phone not something you have to load each and every time. also, it would be great if this app helped you program the remote and wall controls instead of the pattern of button pushing it is now.

APP is totally unusable on a Galaxy S8 Plus. Even if it finds the fan, It takes several multi taps of the screen to get the controls to come up. When they do, they stay on screen for a few seconds then it does a search again. and again, and again..... I agree with a few here that spending so much for a fan to get these issues is frustrating. Not to mention the wireless controller that came with the fan is also very spotty. Requiring multiple presses of a button to get what you want. I should have left the 3 speed pull chain fan that was there!!!

You can have the reciever back. Doesn't find the fan yet I see it in the Bluetooth menu. Asks for a pin. No pin provided. Fan is a brick. Sometimes the app says set up set up new fan but doesn't seem to be a real button. Tap on it and it does nothing but time out, doenst connect and/or crashes me to the home screen. I've tried with numerous devices on different Android/ios versions and it still is a glitchy mess. Needs work. Did the wrong version app get pushed??

Awful app. Fans don't show up in the list after multiple refreshes (they are visible in Bluetooth settings). The remote that comes with the fan is just as bad. It shouldn't be this difficult to control a ceiling fan. The ios version seems to work just fine so it is possible to make a working app.

Worst app I've ever used! It messed up my wall remote and 2 handheld remotes. Re-learning on them is not working now. And one of my fans now decides to beep whenever it wants and won't stop until I turn the power off to fan. Even after the app has been uninstalled! I really like Fanimation fans, have them throughout the house, but they need to get it together with the remotes and this app.

Worthless junk on Android since the last update. Works fine on iOS.It always had issues connecting to all the fans, even within 10 ft distance. Now it won't actually connect to any of them to adjust fan settings. I've been using this junk for 2 years and a monkey could've gotten this sorted out by now but instead, this developer only seems to be interested in making the app even worse than it was with each update. Obviously nobody is doing any proper user testing before release.

We have two Fanimation fans. Love their simple design, but the app is horrible. It takes forever to find the fans everytime. Once found, it fails to control them 50% of the time. We have numerous other BT apps that work far more reliably than this one. Will most likely pick a different vendor for other fans for the rest of the home which is a bummer sine they won't match.

Works flawlessly. Can control the fan and light from just about anywhere in the house. Galaxy s9+. I like it that it remembers the settings when you turn off the wall switch for later. Not sure what people are complaining about.

Works, slow to connect, and the minimum fan speed setting is 4, where as the app on my ipad is 1. If I set the ipad to one, the reading of the speed on the Android is 0, but the fan speed bar is slightly off of the left side. The ipad connects very quickly.

Terrible app .Most times it doesnt recognize the fan and when it does the controls do not load. And the remote that comes with fan is also terrible. Multiple times must be pushed to turn fan or light on and off .Terrible

Almost never works. The app always says a fan isn't in range so it doesn't sync up and you're almost never able to use it.

I use fanSync to control the ceiling fans at work, all throughout my office. Once you pair the fans, they will automatically connect when in range. The app is very straightforward and user friendly. Definitely 5 stars 👍🏻

Went from one to two stars only because they were pretty quick with resolving the app crashing due to update. New update might work but now I have to go back and re-sync all the fans through the house since all settings were deleted with most recent update.

Old app was bad but this is worse.. worked Ok until update now asks for a pin that doesn't exist and cannot get it to connect again. When it did work it had issues...

if i could give it no stars i would. The entire system needs work. connection is spotty and mostly non-existent. in my small appartment with 3 of these fans i can only see 2 at a time. i can't control any of them. not programmed properly.

Works exactly as you expect it. Not sure why other reviewers are having trouble. It literally said set up new fan (phone Bluetooth on note10+ and S9).. and then named it, and that's it...

Basically unusable and I am pretty disappointed because we spent a lot of money on these fans and this would have been a bonus feature. The fans take forever to load and usually don't connect. Not worth having.

It works. Takes forever to refresh and list fans. Doesn't always show all fans. IOS version works great. Remotes with fans are horrible. For the love of God, please make this app work like IOS version.

One it takes too long to recognize fan to it constantly drops and does not see the fans . Frequently requires rebooting the phone to get Fan to be recognized

Slow to recognize fans at times but generally works. The sliding dimable lighting control is a bit glitchy.

The app works on my wife's iPhone but not on my Pixel. I can't get past the logo screen. Redownloading the app doesn't work.

garbage app, Doesnt work with my new fanimation fan despite the box and instructions clearly saying it's compatible.

Either crashes or doesn't find the fans. Sometimes both. Super annoying.

The app worked 3 years ago when I got the fan. It has not worked for a long time. Please fix!!!

i dont know if this is the correct app for a bluetooth fan remote but in eithwr case, this doesnt do anything.
