Feed Baby - Breastfeeding

With our first baby, the only thing preventing 5 stars was the very temperamental sync functionality. Synchronizing between mine and my wife's device (iPhone) is very hit and miss, requiring multiple attempts to manually sync. The worst problem we've had was one occasion when almost an entire days worth of sessions recorded on one device was completely lost when the other device synced and deleted them. This need to be fixed. There shouldn't be any need for sync settings at all if sync is implemented properly. With the second baby, I have had to downgrade the rating to a single star (and it only keeps that 1 star because it was useful for our first baby). The temperamental sync hasn't improved and after many failed attempts at adding a second baby that would correctly sync without errors, and then finding that I was unable to change the picture on either of my babies (seemingly due to the app not having - or even asking for - the permissions needed to access images) we gave up on the app entirely. If you have and are only intending to have one baby, you may be able to live with the temperamental sync. If you have twins or are planning a 2nd baby (or more), there are better options.

I think the added difficulty of entries randomly disappearing from the log is really something we could do without while being totally sleep deprived. Every morning we try to remember the last 12 hours of entries so we can check/re-add them... Everyone here is also talking about sync issues - are you ever going to address them? It seems like a feature that other modern apps have figured out a long time ago.

Used it twice. Very clean and simple. This is the second baby I've used it for. I really like how simple it is. No intrusive ads. They're just a banner which is fine. It's easy to add, easy to edit. Easy to customize if you're just breastfeeding, or doing a bottle or whatever.

Fantastic app. Love the options that address real life! Need to start a feed quickly? Just tap the button. Started the feed timer late? There's a button to adjust the start time while the clock is running. Forgot to time it all together? You can add it after the fact too. The reminders and custom alarms are indispensable as well. There are a lot of things this app does, and does well.

A great app that shines because of the synch feature. My wife and I paid for it, so we got the autosynch version. Initially we were frustrated that it wasn't working, but that seems to be because we closed the app in the background. For autosynch to work, DO NOT CLOSE THE APP ON THE BACKGROUND. Just keep it running. But this would be a much better app if the app updated without having the window open. Like many shopping lists automatically synch.

Generally the app is very helpful and easy to use. The only challenges we've been having are with the syncing between two devices being a bit slow and inconsistent. For example one of us needs to use the pro version of the app and the other needs to launch the non-pro version even though we have both installed in order to access the synced data. Otherwise we don't see the information. I suggest the syncing feature be improved.

I think it's really well organized and gives us all available options for the types of feeding we're doing. I'm new to parenting and like to know exactly what I'm doing right now, so the data helps a lot. It is a LITTLE cumbersome to navigate between the categories and then entering the data: feels like a lot of clicks in the middle of the night, at least. but I'm not sure how it could be improved, just thinking of shaving seconds off of a 3am log 😊

Repeated issues with loss of data relating to activities recorded. Sometimes syncing resolves and sometimes it doesn't. Another issue is that I also often find sleeps still running in the background hours after I know I've already ended them. My wife also uses the app but on an iPhone. I would have hoped that this shouldn't cause any issues but we often find ourselves having to sync manually, sometimes several times in quick succession. Both paid money for this app. Frankly quite disappointed.

This app went from a 5 star app to a 2 star app. The app itself is great, but trying to sync multiple kids, data is constantly lost or it will sync to the wrong child. I can't even just wipe the whole thing and start over with my second kid. I emailed for technical help and got no response. I wish there was another app out there that did all of the things this one does. Especially in the data analization aspects of it. This is incredibly frustrating.

Love the app in general, but I have one huge complaint and one suggestion. Huge: we just switched from daylight saving time to standard time and the timeline on the app didn't adjust accordingly. So currently it's 6:40am and in the app it's 7:40. The time on my phone adjusted at 2am, per standard. Suggestion: it would be nice if the persistent notification during a feed would show how long you've been feeding. Otherwise, really good app. Helpful charts and graphs. Nice interface.

This app does pretty much everything you could possibly need... when it works. However, there have been multiple periods over the past few months where it loses the most recent entries. Sometimes these reappear later, sometimes not. Without being able to reliably see the most recent feed and diaper, this is pretty useless. I emailed support with screenshots of the missing data but never got a reply.

Brilliant on Android! If your partner has IOS though it has sync issues (so now I'm a nag saying "can you sync? Have you synced yet?" 😂) On Android it's perfect, tell it to auto sync and it does to any device (including IOS) but it doesn't work the other way. I've been using it for 10 months now and I don't like that when we moved onto solids that's it's a fixed amount. You can't type in 27grams... It's 10, 20, 30, etc

This app is really useful, especially all of the widgets! The charts and graphs are nice to see, for those of us who are data obsessed. The development team is very responsive to emails about problems and issues. I just wish the app supported more than two children! Even though my oldest is now three, I still use the fever and medicine tracker for him, because I have yet to find an app that works as well and has as nice graphs as this one.

been looking for an app to replace pen and paper - has everything you'll need (and a lot more that you might not have thought of!) think we'll be using this app for years to come! what's even better is that the app can sync across multiple devices! but i removed one star as i need to sync at least twice each time before all data is up to date. nonetheless its a great app to have!

Annoying nag to leave rating, and one purchase should cover all synced devices. My wife and I each had to pay. App works as expected. Would be really cool if there was a smart watch widget, but there does not seem to be one that I could find. We tried a few apps like this, and we liked this one the best. Overall I would recommend.

The app is easy to use and pretty straightforward. I don't like how when you feed on both sides it is not counted as one feed so the timing ends up being off (i.e. If you press the right side button and then the left side button, it counts the time between feeds as from the start of the left side instead of the right)!

My wife and I paid for the app (on both phones) so we could sync the data, but it doesn't work automatically. You'd imagine I add a feeding and she could load her app and it would show the feeding I added. That only works if I manually click 'sync now', then she does the same. It's pretty annoying and something you think is standard these days, especially after having spent $10.
