Like the app but ... It appears it keeps thumbnails of all files. If you delete a file of any given name and then later download a different file that just so happens to have the same name the thumbnail shown in the folder viewer is the old file not the new one. And since it tells you deletes can't be undone it lulls you into thinking a deleted file is fully gone. No so. The thumbnail is still in there somewhere. Hardly a secure app. Otherwise it does what I expected and does it well.
Seems pretty good, but I need a super file system with spy apps and stuff because I got a lot of people who are hacking me and literally trying to kill me. All the while it's my organizational skills challenged to the point of total chaos. I can't be sure how many files I've lost because of incompetence, vs how many files I've had destroyed or corrupted due to other people breaking into my computers and my phones. I've broken many of my phones because of the absolute outrage. Overall good app
Will not save file to selected folder. There's no option to open .tiff automatically or select as default app for the said file. I'm having to navigate through so many folders just to find what i need because the files automatically save downloads. Would pay for it but...
When I choose to sort folders by size (from large to small), it does so not by calculating the size of the folders, but by the number of files in each folder. For example, one folder has 10 files with a size of 2 GB, another folder has 20 files with a size of 1 GB. The system first shows a folder with 20 files
It would be nice to know how much the is costs to remove ads. Unable to even access my downloaded files without allowing the app to access/delete files without my knowledge! I HATE IT! If I could give 0 stars, I would!
This app was a GODSEND! While trying to wrap up my taxes, nothing printed included a single filled field (frustrating) despite monumental effort. Took a chance on this app and voilà! Took mere minutes to pull up and print my FILLED tax forms for mailing. Cheerfully supporting this app with paid subscription now! (Only $3/yr) Note: Free version contains ads. Note to app dev: One in particular (Calm app) was unbelievably lengthy - maybe look into that?
I am not the best person to be discussing uploads & downloads (in fact the kids do their best to keep me away from computers), but even I can use this simple but effective piece of software. My holiday paperwork used to be a mad panic with files & emails saved everywhere. Thank goodness for file viewer....
THANK YOU 50 STAR STATE. Finally! Just found and tried this app after I tried others. Get this one. WooHoo. Now my silicon monkey on my back opens a .tif pdf+more,and images are easily handled. Thanks for this package of good code! So far as good as a culvers burger. And the cod. At least as good.😁👍. No charge yet. Please if you tripled price then sell both not just monopolize the highpriced version ONLY. That would be SAD ONLY as I just found it. Free version is great for me so far!
Very good app for unusual types, including major camera RAWs not shown in others. Up-rated to 5 Star for adding a "Favorites" for quickly pulling useful folders (asked for that here a while ago.)
This is a great default file opener and editor. Don't worry about Acrobat or Microsoft, this does the job.
Facing the issue of In the lastest update missing of double tap zoom controlling in pdf viewing. If double tapping on screen pdf zoom control is fixed upto some ratio. Pls try to fix this issue.
No 3rd media support? (Usb / OTG) Also, the new permissions added weren't a great addition. Charge for an add free separate app. But anyway, no way to see my usb hdd is the main issue.
CRASHING simply viewing a list of documents in Download causes app to freeze and quit. It has done this multiple times even after a Force Quit and cache clear. Uninstalling!
Saved pre school photo Spent £21 on a digital download picture that was sent as a .bin file that my phone and my laptop couldn't open, this saved the day, allowed me to open it then save as a jpeg by exporting it
I only use this app for my school work and so far its really good and easy to use. Ads arent that annoying and they only appear from time to time. One thing i would absolutely love to be added is to be able to copy long texts in a file, this would be really helpful if it were added.
After viewing pics or vids it doesn't go back to where you were, but really no big deal. Great file management tool!
Please add specific categories for the different file types like pdf, ppt, xlsx, doc etc then it will be easy to find that particular file of that format, otherwise very good app.
EDITED I Rarely rate, but I wanted to put up a 5 star for this since i see real work is being done. Secondly, this was probably the best (maybe most drastic) update I've seen in any app like this. Options and navigation is so much better, file information is extra detailed, Permissions ***** which is more important as time goes on. EDIT - The ads are way too many, too often. NEED A SEPERATE NO-AD VERSON (Not an ubgrade) so permisssions can be back down. -$1/yr or a $3-5 one time perchase.
Really good for local files but would be the perfect all in one if it supported network files too
I have one issue in this app when I open a json file the wrap text option is not working please fix it. This app is very good file viewer but it would be even more better if you add image editor and text files like json,xml etc editor and give option to compress files in all available formats like .gz .rar .gzip etc please add these features.
While it does open HTML files, you can't search for text inside them. It also doesn't support Javascript.
I suppose something's up with the play store. Doesn't change the fact that a stock file viewer is plastered with predatory ads that forcibly redirect you to the play store. Can't wait until I have to watch 3 ads to open my contacts.
You can't even see the layers for a psd. So I am unable to see them or save them individually. That would he nice to save them individually especially since my phone can't open PSDs
The most annoying forced adverts during private and confidential viewing of files on emails I've ever used. Soo loud and inappropriate adverts also!
Smoothest file viewing I ever used. No stops, no not able to runs, all able to read and play. N9 mistakes great app.
I faced some inconvenience. It opens very slowly. Advantage of this app we are able to view in any file format
It's not bad for a normal file viewer I just don't like ads but in there defense there quick and non intrusive.
I gotta say, this app is impressive. I've tried numerous others, X-plore and SD Maid come close (still use them) from the bunch, but none can match the versatility of this app. It has opened, played and viewed everything I've thrown at it, including MS doc's. It replaces media players, doc viewers, unzippers and more. Try it, then buy it, it's worth it.
This app is flawless for the 6months or so I've had it (the version for Android), aside from making it simple to find all files in your device you can change the file type to any other (e.g. Mp4 to Mp3 if you only need the soundtrack). The best file viewer for my purposes. I have a load of docs on SD card - this app opens showing 2 buttons: Internal storage and SD card, so there's no scrolling through a list to find the card. Then the Documents folder shows all the folders I have in it, unlike most apps which show a long list of every file without the folders.
