Love the food and grant program. Service is usually great but the app hasn't worked more than once or twice, and that was years ago. Always, "Something went wrong." I gave up on the app for a year or two and let it go through a few version updates before trying again to no avail. Tried signing up a new account with my new primary email and it wouldn't process. Fortunately, I can still call the order in. But if FH wants to stay relevant with competition, fix the app. I'll try again next year.
App was working great for a while, then continuously ran into the same issue the other one star reviews are having. The app is messing up, cannot be completed, and I have to call in store. Even reinstalled the app, logged out and back in, and cleared and restarted my order. To make it clear, I LOVE Firehouse Subs. I think they have a great staff. Their app just needs a MASSIVE overhaul on the bugfixes INSTEAD of some representative pretending to show concern and not addressing the bugfix issue.
It's difficult to navigate going through the app. All the subs that are at a Firehouse aren't listed in the app. Not all vegetables, seasonings, and sauces are listed. You can't add extra anything to the sub. The little 37 letter option note it has to notate in is 5 small words, and doesn't help. There's no dessert options that anybody I've talked to can find in the app. And there is really no control on how I want my sub constructed or built the way I like it.
If I could give it a 0 star, I would. Do not get this app. It doesn't show you your reward points. That means that you also can't use your rewards. So the incentive for frequenting the restaurant is gone. Power cycling the phone doesn't work. Updating the app doesn't work. Uninstall/reinstall doesn't work. Now, I can't even log in. I used to live Firehouse subs. I am done. No more of my money will go to them until they restore the incentives promised to me as a customer.
Food is great. Service is great. App works correctly less than half the time. This is not a random glitch either. I have been eating at Firehouse for at least 4 years and the app has had constant problems during that time. It is convenient whe. It works but at least half the time I get a message that says sorry, it is not working correctly, please call in my order. The website seems much more easy to use and more consistent. Also, I wrote a less detailed review a few days ago that disappeared 🤔
App is pretty much unusable. Cannot log in, cannot create a new account, cannot place any orders. Message "we are sorry. Something went wrong. Plesse try again. If the problem persists, contact customer support from the info section of the app for further assistance." If you try to go to that area on the app to get customer support it won't load.
App is trash. I had an old Samsung Galaxy s9 and the app worked for about a week then stopped. Figured it was my phone getting old. Upgraded to Samsung Galaxy s22 Ultra and I'm still getting the same error. This has stopped me from eating at Firehouse on multiple occasions. Need to get that fixed asap.
The app worked well for me until a few months ago when one of the menu items we always ordered disappeared from the app, but is still available on the menu board of the restaurant. I most often use the app to order but now can't get one of our favorites through it.
App was great when it worked. Now I keep getting error messages whenever I try to order. Uninstalled and reinstalled, rebooted my phone, tried on Wi-Fi and 5G Network, still same bs. Which is a bummer bc the convenience of the app is why I kept going back.
Doesn't work half the time, "we are sorry, something went wrong" doesn't load my Points and I can't order So it works from home wifi but not cellular data... I don't get it. The reorder function is broken, I just went to pick up my food and it took all the meat off the sandwiches, when I tried to add to the order it deleted everything in the cart because it forces you to select another time for pickup I guess... I can't be the only one having problems with this broken app... 2 years no change
Food is great, however this app is terrible. More times than not I'm completely unable to place orders from within the app, nor will it load any of my rewards points. Always the same "we are sorry" message.
It took my 20 minutes to figure out I had to add at least one additional topping for the app to allow me to continue to the payment. Otherwise, it was pretty easy to navigate through the app.
Legitimately one of the worse online ordering apps I've seen. It really seems like they hired the most mediocre of developers for this. This is coming from someone who used the app for the first time today. A good online ordering app is step one in getting people to order from Firehouse more frequently and this pretty much made me decide to eat somewhere else if I wasn't ordering for more people than myself. My local liquor store has a better ordering app that this.
I have used this app in the past. No problems. Tried using it today, it won't let me order. Uninstalled and reinstalled and still nothing. You would think with all the complaints that I have been reading in here about this same issue, it would get fixed. They just lost a customer. Jimmy John's app works great!
This is the BEST place to get delicious subs and salads. COLIN and DYLAN made the experience even more rewarding. They were gracious and efficient. What a thoroughly delightful lunch we had, thanks to them.
The website is more user-friendly. There was some repeated error when trying to pay. I wasted 20 minutes trying to order 2 subs! On the flip side, it took about 5 minutes, if that, ordering on the website. The app is basically useless.
Can't log in, when you reset password it locks you out for an hour so don't bother trying to get any points since you can never use them anyways. And the app never works it always says an error occurred, so it's not worth downloading.
The app is easy to navigate, it works quickly and smoothly without hang-ups or bugs. This is one of the best takeout apps I have used. It even allows me to make donations to buy safety equipment for firehouses - a very worthy cause.
Honestly the worst experience I've had with a restaurant app. I can never get my email to work, it never accepts my payment, and constantly crashes. This has been going on for about two years now, so I don't think it's going to change. 0/10 do not recommend. Just order online.
Thought I'd give this place a try. Went through the whole app ordering process, but Google Pay wouldn't work on the app. Tried twice. There's no option to pay at pickup. So much for that, went to Mod Pizza right nextdoor instead. Their app works flawlessly. Imagine that. After reading all these app complaints, I can't imagine how much business you've lost. Is anyone awake over there? Let me guess, I'll get the "email us @blahblahblah". Uninstall.
All that's missing is the Engine Company sandwich or an alternate way of ordering it, like the ability to add roast beef to a turkey sandwich. If that was there, I would use the app more.
Tried signing up but get the same error message every other 1 star reviewer has given. Seems like it is a common issue and should be at top of developers bug list.
It was an awesome app. Now, for the past two or three months, the darn thing consistently says, "something went wrong." I have re installed the app trying to fix it but it doesn't work. The few times it almost works it says login incorrect. I've reset that too o ly to get the, "something went wrong," message again. It's a hassle calling in orders because something always gets messed up. Please fix.
