Best free tracker I've ever used! Definitely the most accurate one, and being able to watch the icons taxiing, taking off, and landing is really cool. My only issue is that it seems to not be very precise on the takeoff and landing areas. The icons will freeze at the beginning of takeoff, overshoot the runway every landing, and the altitude indicator will continue to read 800ft after landing. Still the best free app.
This is an excellent app that I regularly use, just because I'm a very inquisitive person, and when I see contrails in the sky I always ask myself " I wonder what jet it is " If I check the app. I know. It's excellent and I would definitely recommend this app for anyone with an interest in passing jets. My only gripe is the adverts that load when I am using it. In particular the Spotify, which tends to play some dreadful 'pop' music to me and anyone within earshot!!
I like how you can tap on any flight and the app pulls up the flight infomation and the aircraft infomation. Also, I can look up any airport around the world in real time. What I have a problem with is you can't look up a specific flight within the app itself. If the developers can fix my issue, then I give the app five stars. Keep up the good work with the app.
Good flight tracker. Good options and pretty accurate. I really like it and it works well with my S21Ultra. F16s have been practicing around Randolph AFB but this app won't pick them up in the area, even with the correct settings. They were practicing for an upcoming airshow in San Antonio. The app picked them up not to long ago. 🤷🏼♂️
Feature suggestions are not taken on board by the developer. I made a request 2 years ago (February 2020) that you should be able to add alerts for particular flight numbers on particular dates, the reply I received was "please let us know what features you would like to see". I can't imagine I'm the only user that would require this detail, as an app developer I know it's not a difficult thing to implement, however without this functionality, the app has no purpose to me above basic level.
It's a great app my 14 year old daughter uses it and knows more of the skies. It shows some military aircraft, but if there is more than 1 it will not show the rest. Great features for the standard free version. Very simple and easy to use. I recommend this app for any aviation enthusiast.
Always like using this app but it does not run well properly on the S22 Ultra, presumably due to the GPU being an AMD chip rather than the previous processors I contacted the app and was told no one else has this issue. Definitely isn't anything on my side and I'm using Samsung's latest flagship so presumably as more and more mid range phones switch to this new processor/gpu config there will be more and more complaints. This app causes my phone to completely freeze up and stop responding
This app is exceptional. Love watching the arial acrobatics with altitude and course changes to maintain a safe airspace. Never imagined the enormous amount of air traffic going on at once throughout to world. Also impressed with the number of emergency squawks and the safe landings of those aircraft.
I've used this app for years, alongside FreedarUK. Recently the ads on FlightRadar 24 have gone beyond the realms of acceptability and they're now intrusive to the point of rendering the app virtually unusable. Reluctantly, I'll be deleting FlightRadar and sticking to the FreedarUK app instead. You've lost a previously devoted customer through your ad program - well done...
Last time I reviewed this app I gave it 5 stars. However over the last few weeks it has started loading ads that I can't switch off. So I have to watch an ad for 2 or 3 minutes, usually about crypto currency until it decides to finish before I can use the app. I understand the developer needs the revenue from adverts but this is very frustrating.
3 adverts within a 25 seconds period (not of each other) whilst trying to see what was approaching overhead - too late, it's gone! There is a time lag which is also frustrating. Ridiculously ads heavy and often opens up with an ad, followed seconds later by another ad. Really flipping annoying and it's getting worse. A good app spoiled.
This app gives accurate, accessible and interesting flight data worldwide. One of the better user interfaces available. Minimal invasiveness of ads on free platform. I use it nearly every day as an avid observer of aviation, weather, etc. I love this app!
This 5 star is based on the free version. My kids (5&6) would lookup in the sky and ask "Daddy where is that plane going." . Okay I'll look for an app that does that. Not only did it deliver it peaked their interest and curiosity in air travel. They asked me to install it on their tablet and then they were both watching planes travel all over the world. They then started locating the cities on the globe they had in their bedroom. Great app very interesting and good learning for the kids.
Used to be great, now rubbish. Generally, well placed ads are fine and most quality apps can display them efficiently, but the developers of this app have chosen to do intrusive full screen ads with obscure UI elements that trick users into clicking. Pathetic.
It's a great application. I enjoy it the way too much. I really really appreciate it and thank you so so much to Flightradar24 Team for introducing such a great application. One thing I want to add as a request that please also add Airport pictures with regard airports. Once again thank you so much.
App itself is great. Very frustrating that I paid for the old version which they discontinued for the present one. Now I am pestered by ads and options to upgrade. Not upgrading after having already paid for the previous one. Shady.
excellent. very interesting and addictive. lots of info, and the 3d paid for extra is very accurate and enables various views of plane and landscape. I'm now rushing outdoors and plane spotting...how sad!!! recommended app. Still brilliant and informative too.
I think this is a great informative app. Well done to all those who designed and coded it. I've particularly found it useful to identify the plane that likes to re-enact the Battle of Britain by swooping and diving all over the Somerset countryside. Buzz off Qinetiq!
Excellent app. Very accurate information and very useful features. I don't travel much lately sadly, so i subscribe whenever i need it. Totally worth it, and very reasonable price for the service. Thanks to the developping team and keep up the good work.
No longer allows 3D since update, other than that, I love the app. Since writing the above, I've discovered that it does allow me 3D but not all of the time? I does seem to struggle to load, even with my fast internet, it then does a black screen , and then, if I'm lucky it will load correctly? Using a newish phone with latest android. I will check again in a day or so to keep you updated. Still love the App! Have just deleted to do a fresh install... I'll keep you posted!+++ And now all OK TY
I find flightradar24 to be really helpful in locating planes and their routes. My Son uses the app to plot my progress across the Atlantic to the UK. Would like to see the 3D element a real-time camera approach rather than a computer generated version. Overall very happy with this awesome app, thanks.
Living under a flight path in the centre of France I find it very interesting to know where the planes came from and their destinations. AR mode is accurate and easy to use. I am also under a military refuelling hippodrome circuit, but these planes are no longer shown, probably a security decision dictated by the authorities. I would like an option to click on a plane, and route, see the trail, and hide the flight info so that more map can be viewed (particularly on a tablet in portrait view).
