FlipaClip - Cartoon animation

Really like the app, and it has helped me a lot !but recently it's been crashing non stop and i cant turn any of my animations into movies, an error pops up at the end. I dont know if it's an issue with my phone or with the app but it doesn't seem to go away? Also the pencil tool is broken, it shows up as diffrent colors and distorts the color you've chosen

4.5/5 it was good to navigate with the old update, though with the new update, it felt really confusing, I wish there were more brushes, more eraser types, and more options to choose from rather than a selected few. it's a great program, and while it's free, you barely have any layers, your max is 3 and you basically have to figure out how much you have to cram into one layer at max if it's going to be a bigger project opting you to purchase the premium. It's a process none the less.

Its an amazing app, you can use so many colors, theres a few tools, import audio or even make your own sounds with the audio recorder! 10/10 would reccomend, however i think it would amazing if there a wider variety of tools to use. Im currently working on a big project and its difficult with the limited amount of layers. All in all, its great. The app looks visually great and met my expectations, if your new or experienced then this is the app for you.

This app is really great for making animations. It would be really cool though if there was a feature that allowed you to make animatics. I don't mean the animatic challenge thing you guys did, I mean those animations that are essentially the same format as storyboards. I guess you could still make those with the regular setup you guys have, but it could get pretty tedious.

Flipaclip is one of the best animation app for Android. It is very easy to use and is very user friendly. Perfect for beginners. I have it for star because there is an very useful option that I want to have in this app, an eraser fill tool. This is a mixture of fill and eraser tool. Instead of erasing an area manually, it can be used to erasing an area just by tapping it. Please look forward in adding it, i would save a lot of time for me, thank you.

Best app to animate, very clean, smooth interface. Definitely worth to pay premium, too. Lately, however, I've been experiencing a horrible bug in which undoing a copied item clears the frame, and the redo button only brings back the copied item (the rest of the frame is lost). Very annoying after spending so much time on one frame. Edit: with the recent updates it seems fixed, I'm so glad!

Good for beginners and no one else. You can't even merge layers without paying $10, not to mention the fact that you have 4 pens to choose from. No clipping tool (so that means no ability to color lineart), very poor stabilizer ect..this doesn't mean you can't make great animations on it, you certinaly can, but as someone who's been using it for 5 years and who's paid money for extra features, it's just mediocre, when other art apps have more pens and abilities for free.

There's a problem with the audio. I'm trying to make an animation by adding the audio first and making the animation based on what is heard while scrolling through the frames. Usually audio plays when you scroll through the frames to tell what is supposed to be heard at the exact time the frame passes, but not really the same happens for me. While I do try to animate a scene based on what is heard scrolling through the frames, When I actually play it, it is completely desynced.

I loved this app.. BUT.. recently I logged onto my computer and FlipaClip was reinstalling itself. I never uninstalled. I go into the app and all of my hard work is gone. All the drawings and animations I was so proud of is gone. Very upset, as I was working on a project that was almost done. 2 years of work. Hundreds of art I worked so hard on, wiped. Why create an art app that doesn't even save the work to the account you log in with. Highly disappointed. Will not recommend until it's fixed.

i have now restored my purchase, it was very annoying to do but it worked. it's still a great app, especially being just for mobile devices. i do have one suggestion though, having where you can draw go past the canvas. this could be helpful for drawing things coming on the screen. kinda like how it is in Adobe animate. really my only gripe, otherwise it's a really awesome animation app. as an animator i can say that. it would be nice if it got more selection tools and gradient tools as well :)

I really like this app ; however, I think it would be useful to add a separate thing for backgrounds as we only have 3 layers which Is a bit inconvenient when trying to add background animations, as well as the tap to stop thing that is tricky to go though the animation without the phone turning off . As well as this I personally find it a bit inconvenient that you can't have a nameless animation because sometimes I like to name things after I finish ( this is just me personally I think)

App is cool, but it keeps stopping. I've been working on a 9 second clip for about a day now, and it requires A LOT of copying and pasting frames. It gives me error "e-82" and corrupts my animation, this delaying the process of finishing it. The only solution is to exit the app and enter again. I go back in, animate a bit, then I get an ad that 3 seconds in crashes the app. AGAIN. fix bug = i change rating

This app is incredible! I'm glad it's been updated although I've been getting used to the older version 😂 I would give it a five star, the only issue is that when I'm trying to watch an ad to get music,I have to tap it several times just for it to work!it gets really annoying but apart from that it's really addicting! No hate is targeted against the creator I love this app!!!😢😢

This app is great and all and I just started trying to animate but there is one problem that affects the whole animating thing for me. I will see the problem when I press the movie making button when the loading is 90% I suddenly says "e- 45 something went wrong" now the thing is I happens most of the time! I need to know if it's my device or really an error in the app! If it is an error please fix it. When it is fixed then I will give 5 stars

flipaclip is a really good app when it comes to animating on mobile ! but one issue after these new updates , whenever i have a project using sounds / songs , but it messes with my volume . it keeps making my volume settings really loud . and i always get jumpscared when it does that ^^; so , the only negative thing from this app is the volume problem ! (and of course , ads)

I really like using this app for animation it really easy and fun to use. Tho there is some things that I don't really like, Like you having to pay for more layers because it can be quite frustrating that you only have 3 layers that you can use, I feel that you should have more than just 3, Also the onion skin is very important to animation but you also have to pay for it too, Lastly the audio its understandable you have to pay for it but the watch the ad button doesn't work it keeps loading....

Really good animation app, very simple, and alot of tools. There are some drawbacks however, I got premium and noticed there isn't a blur tool, only a glow tool for the layers. You can't make clipping layers, which are very important for shading. If they added a few more brushes and a few more extra tools it would definitely be a 5 star.

The app is very easy to use, the updates have some really neat effects, my only problems are that the app is very laggy, and mostly, different layers can't interact. Now, this is helpful sometimes when I'm doing something like drawing backrounds, but makes it pretty hard to do things like shading (also kinda realates to the fact you have to pay for more than 3 layers, ect) but otherwise, a good app :>

UPDATE 05/18/22 My initial review was for 2 stars, but I've updated it to 5 stars. I was able to easily get a hold of the support team, and after showing them my receipt, they were able to help me get premium features back. They were very prompt and professional, and I'm glad I got my favorite animation app back! ----------- good app, but I lost my premium version in the update. The option to reinstate my purchase is gone, meaning I'd need to buy everything again. No thank you.

I love this app so much. I improved alot with this. The reason I gave it a 4/5 is because of the audio. Whenever I try to put my own audio, it doesn't load and after, it will say "no available ads" and then when I go out of the project, it plays an ad. Please fix this and Im also broke to buy the premium.

Very great app! Now with the glow layer effect, I can make better looking texts! But since I only mostly do mapping, I would like a different version of flipaclip just for mappers, with large canvas sizes, many maps to choose from instead of searching for them, presets to help making wars, and all those stuff needed to make a high or medium quality mapping video! If you don't know what mapping is, just look it up!

Flipaclip is simple and easy to use,compare to most animation apps you won't find one with a clean layout like it. I like the fact that you can send your animations stright to Youtube right on the app. If you know how to be creative with these tools then there is a lot this app has to offer for you espicaly if you're just starting out at being a animator. If you buy the preium pack,just be careful if you have any cleaning apps.(I learned the hard way and lost my stuff.😿) Pls fix Watch a Add.

Everytime I go to the frames viewer and try to delete frames, the app either closes, or it lags and then closes, and once I go back then my animation is choppy and the audio is muted, or the drawings I drew wouldn't appear and I would have to close the app and re open it again. It's super annoying and difficult to have to deal with. Please fix this. Other than that it's still a good app, except when drawing it catches all of your hands shakiness..

It's recommendeble for begginers and easy to use. But it's hard to adjust at first.I personally think there needs to be more types of rulers and the layering should be fixed because sometimes it turns into a different color maybe the sensitivity of the size adjusting also needs to be lowered. But the app is easy and a wonderful app.

This app (for me atleast) has gotten worse over time. I paid for ALL of the premium features and now they are all gone. I made sure I was on the same account as before and up to date on all of my devices and I am, yet for some reason I don't have my premium purchases on one of my devices. This is extremely annoying because I changed devices since my other one was getting too old. This KEEPS happening now where my purchases would just vanish. Until this is fixed, I'm not changing my review.

It's pretty good but on my device at least, I don't know if anyone has the same problem, but when I try and make movie it either crashes imediatley, crashes at 3% or the highest it'll go is 15% and i'm trying to post these on youtube so I kind of need to be able to make movie. When it Crashes it'll send me back to the screen with all my projects, it won't make movie.

Pretty good, but its a bit too fast of an animation. I've been drawing images and stuff but the animation becomes so short as short as 2 seconds or even 1! If you could make it so there would be a setting for making the animation slower that would be amazing, overall a great experience! :)

a very nice app for beginner and advanced animators. I really enjoy animating with flipaclip but there are some things I wish they'd add or change. #1, a magic select for selecting certain colors. #2, a option for the paint bucket to work on the whole canvas instead of just the layer you're on. And finally #3, a way to export a video with a transparent background. I would really appreciate these features! :)
