Honestly, I used to love this app a while back. But right now, I have faced issues in each and everyone of the orders. In fact my previous order I found a metal filing. Surprisingly there was no action taken and also there was no one responded. My next order was even more awesome, the contents were missing. Even after sending a pic, they refused to believe me and took no action. I have learnt my lesson and will never order from this app at least. I hope others learn from my experience and stop using the same.
There's a bug or technical glitch or something in this version of the app, trying to place the order since yesterday n number of times but while going to the payment page, the page gets refreshed everytime and reads "one or more item in your cart is unavailable" however the item is available with the restaurant. The same thing is happening with every restaurant and every dish added to the cart!
I'm SICK AND TIRED of guiding valet over phone call EVEN when I have correct address given AND marked on Google maps in high accuracy mode. They just have to call everytime and have me guide them for 5-10 minutes instead of just using maps. I can confirm Google maps work just fine in my city. EDIT - it's not just one it's almost every order. I think you guys need to train your valet to use maps because if a cab can reach my place using maps then your valet should too.
for the most of it the app is functional. only after placing the order do you get to know from which area branch the order will be serviced. also placing the order is too quick without a summary or reconfirmation of the order and the payment mode. have got stuck many times having to pay by cash cos the change payment mode button is very small compared to the place order button and thats the problem. fix these and you are good to go 4 star
i used to love this app but after recent update and the addition of stupid feature "item is not available", that error is all i get! i have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, tried loggin out, I have tried various permutations combinations of order items. this is definitely a bug, coz it keeps happening no matter what items or what restaurant i choose.
Layout is nice, but...... Till now i had 3 issues and had a chat with customer support. Thrice they told me that they're not able to contact the restaurant after 2mins. You have a restaurant on your app and you tell that you're not able to contact it. How does this work. I got Zomato Credits but that's not the point,the experience is missing. I'll give more stars when i get a better response.
A horrible app. Not at all for devices with Notch display. You select one item and proceed to order and later you'll find a different item was added!! And pressing the cancel won't also work! Also, I've waited more than an hour few times to receive my order! Totally disapppointed.
it is a very good app for ordering food online and also gives good offers on food. But whenever the delivery executive delivers the food he tells to give him good rating and then only he gives the food. And because of this I have to rate the food too which I have not tasted yet. it's also very annoying when he tells to rate there at that spot and not letting you go. Zomato should do something on this matter. maybe that the rating option comes 10 mins after delivery.
Very bad app..... It has happened numerous no of times so I am posting it now..... Why do you show a restaurant in the list that is unable to deliver also you show the items which are unavailable at the shop that moment.... Had a really bad experience regarding this..... Also the app keeps crashing again and again.... Keeps on showing some error..... Bad experience.....
Worst Food Deliver App! I placed an order, which was cancelled by the restaurant saying they do not deliver in that area. But zomato is unable to process the refund saying they cannot do any cancellation at their end. I should coordinate with the restaurant. Zomato is unable with the refund. My suggestion(read warning): When ordering from Zomato always use cash on delivery. Else trying to use a convenient way to pay, will only cause loss of money at your end.
Very poor service. Never deliver on time, if not possible on time delivery then please don't take orders. It is happen several time, excues address not found , everyone found the address in a second, in my place any one can find it easily as house number is mentioned in front of every house, mentioned landmark is very popular. So one person can't identify the address but everybody that is not possible. Please try to improve service. Don't play with the emotion of the customer.
You should really start looking at your customer support. Wrong or missing items are found on delivery(multiple times) and I am unable to get through on chat and even if I do, the only response which I get is that you will pass on feedback. What about the missing items. Start owning up to your mistakes when there is so much competition in this space. At least retain the customers you have now.
Not able to cancel order. Customer care was informed with in a minute to cancel a wrongly placed order which happened due to a button click by mistake, but the customer fully denied any possibility of canceling..No help at all. Real pathetic process.. Swiggy is best in customer care.. No wonder they are capturing market.
unlike the main Zomato app (and Swiggy), there's no bar at the bottom showing information on the current order. the only way to access this information is through "account", and then "order history". that's relatively inconvenient, add it in!
Zomato has been a life saver for me when I am hungry. Interface design of the application is very easy to understand. The execution of order is equally accurate. Their promotional offers are attractive. Although new piggyback feature didn't really add up to overall discount. Overall, a good application to order food online.
There are hell lot of Areas where Zomato needs to work.. They are only tying up with low profile eateries and presenting it like good restaurants.. In photo you are showing it with good pictures to fool customers as if all are quality restaurants but actually 80% are roadside eateries with no hygiene.. It's high time to focus on quality of foods offered.. Maximum tied up restaurants are not actually restaurants they are small hotels where one preferring health and hygiene will never prefer to eat if you see the real scenario of the hotels..
I placed an order by an error while scrolling through menu for one of the restaurant. Payment was done with linked Paytm wallet. I placed cancellation request immediately. Customer support denied to cancel the order with a statement that order was already prepared. I don't know how my order was prepared in 1-2 minutes. Despite my request, Customer care representative did not even take the effort to talk to the restaurant over phone to check the readiness of the order. Very poor way of dealing with customer.
it is the worst app i have encountered in my life. They didn't have cancel button in their app.if someone mistakenly clicked placed order to view the payment options or other reasons,it doesn't provide cancel order option atleast in the starting 2minutes. Their helpdesk is highly unsupportive and always warn you dor penalty instead of providing solutions. Also, they try to qaste your time with slow response so that you can't stand a point and have to accept order forcefully.
v bad exp. if u click place order button by mistake....they are just sitting to grab money from u....u keep on shouting to cancel ur order every second after placement they will not help neither understand and in the end would say u have to pay cancellation charge which is equal or more than order amount as the order is been prepared and dispatched...v funny...in short no option to cancel order like its in other sites.
want to give 0 star but it is not in the option. wront of all delivery apps , they are just money seekers ( want money before the order and sometimes order is missing and sometimes its halfly severed,and sometimes cancelled automatically without serving anything and even take away the cancellation charge) , don't use it. its worst.
I tried ordering food from here for the first time so I had a promo code and applied it but unfortunately it never took my order through online. Each time it showed up as "web page not found" and each time I had to cancel my order. I seriously hated the app. It is not helpful at all. Disappointing!!!!
Terrible customer service. They're completely unhelpful. In the past few months, each time I've ordered I've received either wrong or missing items. It's exhausting trying to chat with support about it and you will always end up being more dissatisfied than when you started talking to them. They outright refuse you give you a refund for missing items even though you ask multiple times. They give you 100 zomato credits as an 'apology' to entice you to continue using their app regardless of their horrible service. They have a standard set of replies and regardly of what you say they'll only reply with their useless platitudes. This has happened to me repeatedly over the past few months and I'm just done. There are so many delivery apps these days, I'm not wasting my time or engry on zomato anymore. And I recommend that you don't either if you want to avoid this type of headache.
The customer executives know just one thing -"We can't cancel as per our policy" and are unable to respomd to other queries satisfactorily. Moreover the app has poor synchronisation of displayed menu and the actual available items at the restaurant. It was my first and last order with the app.
Good food. Great behavior by delivery man. the only problem is that the app sometimes does not provide the right information about the status of the food. Once I got the food even when app showed the food is still being made. Please resolve this issue and it will be real perfect app with great offers and good food.
Very poor customer service. Worst in India perhaps. Extremely late deliveries.. exceeding an hour beyond stipulated time almost without exception. And nothing in the name of support but the refreshed delivery time which is about as late as mentioned. After mentioning that they they don't even reply. Answering your query: I have sent you a rather long and detailed mail regarding the chain of bad experiences I've had. Please go through that.
There is a lot of empathy in their design and direction. A few features like tipping the delivery guy, delivering to someone unwell etc really stand out. These are specially important in todays app architecture where businesses want to user to complete an order in the least number of clicks. It also sets a good standard for business practices and vision, the kind of thing that makes or breaks a product years from now.
