FOX 4

Update 1/7/2021 - still having the same problem as advised before. Haven't heard any more & not fixed! *** I'm having the same problem as Nate (12/6/20 post). I choose a storyline to read and all of a sudden I get a blank screen & can't finish the story. It has happened 6+ times today so I just uninstalled and reinstalled but I don't think that will help but that's what all the developers tell me to do. I really enjoy this app but it's no good if you can't read the stories on it. Please fix.

The "Continue Reading" feature on the articles seems pointless, given that I had to select the article in the previous screen. Obviously I want to read it. After continuing through this selection, articles often begin loading only to disappear completely into a white screen. The app is basically unusable for 90% of articles because of this.

When opening a story you get popup to continue reading then you hit that it, start reading then it suddenly goes off screen. Screen turns white and looks like its trying to do something but nothing happens. Also when opening app every single time you get a notification to change notification setting, I did and still everytime I get same message. Its frustrating to use.

TERRIBLE! Slow scrolling up an down as well as left and right. Text is not smooth when scrolling. Scrolling is jerky. Too many advertisments. Selecting a video story brings up an addvert with no audio. Video story never plays. It is as if this was programmed by some idiot democrat that threw in every bell an whistle without making sure the app served it's purpose and worked. It does not serve it's purpose and it does not work! Prior versions of the app worked. This does not!

Everything is fine but only thing I would like for Fox 4 to change it's the little bell in the left hand corner where the x is to start the videos it's too small for those who cannot see very well that needs to be made slightly bigger so that it'll be more easier to access the videos that come along with the stories other than that I am very satisfied with the AB and I believe that that is just about the only thing I can think of that needs to be changed is how to start the videos

Uninstalling today. I have had the app for a reasonable amount of time, to give it a fair shake. Upwards of 8 months to a year.. But today, I can't do it anymore. It has continued to refresh & screen text disappears while reading articles on a regular basis. Gah! It's frustrating.

It isn't visually appealing at all; and I don't find it easy to navigate. It used to be better than it is. But KCTV's and KMBC's apps are far worse.

I continue to have to use the web version to watch live news cast on any Android device. This method does not allow me to chrome cast to my television at all from my S10+. Apparently your only concern is the iPhone capabilities since that seems to be the only device that the app player actually works on.

I absolutely adore this app typically till earlier this week. I open a story and start reading then around a paragraph or so into it I get a blank screen and suddenly I'm to start over and again same thing. Click continue for more and it does it again. My phone has 120HZ refresh rate- tablet has 90HZ. Problems not there. Fix the bugs and I'll come back to give you the 5 Stars that it usually is. The two Stars I'm giving now is to grasp the app teams attention.

VERY frustrating to open an article, click on the "view more", just to have it disappear and leave a blank white screen! I like getting local news but really annoyed by this, affects about half the articles!

Add a notification for sports updates, or make one for only the Chiefs. I'm tired of getting notifications for all things Chiefs. To the point I don't even want to look at the notifications, though I do want to know about true breaking news that really matters.

When I get an alert through the alert such as school closings it does not open and when I open the app to read it the informaton is not there even when I search for it. The same is for the rest of the news alerts that come through. The information is not on the app when you check the alert. The app is not worth the download just go to the website as it is actually up to date and has the story on it.

The story disappears after clicking the read more button. I guess the hundreds of ads overwhelms the app and it chokes on the volume. Anyway uninstalling and I'll try the KMBC app.

Never loads with the "continue reading function". Just a waste of space on my phone at this point since doesn't function properly 95% or more of the time.

Every time I open a news story the page goes blank and no story is visible to read or watch. Please fix this issue. The Fox4 app is the only one that has this issue.

It's a great app. I have tried all the other KC network apps and they don' t compare. Love the morning show crew. You are the best. Mike Thompson and the weather crew. None better. Nobody covers KC sports better. Thanks for working for me and all of Kansas City and the surrounding area. 5 stars!

First, the live stream in app hasn't worked for at least a week, tried everything. Now the website livestream is not playing live feed for the newscast either. Hope this gets fixed soon! I see on your Facebook page that others are also having the same problem.

Every news item has multiple adds. It's a joke! A story about a 9 year boy who lost a finger has an add for sausage before the video about the child. This is SICK! I am deleting this app.

Very glitchy on Android. I like the news reporting and layout just constantly shuts down and I have to restart. If they fix the glitch I would give it 5 stars.

This app continuously freezes due to ads....don't waste your data downloading this app. I'm guessing a Devry dropout blew someone to get the job developing this app...2 YEARS WITHOUT A FIX? 🤔

I can't cooy link or share link...idk why! And when i try to view more after 5 seconds the page goes white! I have updated & reinstalled with same results. Right now this app is trash! Kmbc 9 it is then!

I cannot read any of the articles because it keeps force closing after I select an article. So I guess I will just have to stay with their competitors app until they can fix it.

App constantly freezes and closes. Can hardly read a story or scroll the headlines before it crashes.

Constantly crashes and the news stories take forever to load. Once they do open you better read fast because they go blank after about 8 seconds

When you are trying to read a story the app just goes blank. Try to restore and it does the same thing. Like this news but Horrible app. Please fix and i will install again.

Fantastic -easy to use and up to date on current events. I love the option to watch live incase I am not at home in time to catch the news!

won't open. I want my news. it has been 3 months since I reported the issue. An update on 5/23 made it worse. I use your site to get current news! I got news before even big Fox. So disappointed.

Great news! The Fox 4 app is improving everyday! The app is now almost the best, second only to the staff, who have the best news show in the world!!!! Go Chiefs! Thank you Fox 4 for caring!💝💝💝💝
