Fox News

App needs work, as I am scrolling through stories, it suddenly clears and reloads the story at the top,so I need to go down to where I was, often not doing so because it is to difficult to find the spot. It also automatically clicks on ads as you scroll down, and when you click out of the ad it takes you all the way to the front of the article, this is very annoying.

05.24.2022 The app does not give the Breaking News articles, only the alerts. What's the point if you can't read or view the latest news? REALLY POOR APP. Need to do better than this. This used to be a good app. What happened? Keeps freezing and then closes. Live TV just spins. Click on some articles that open a completely different website that won't let you go back to Fox. Click bait adds everywhere. This is inexcusable. Fix this app please.

I pay to be bombarded with commercials!! The commercials are out of control! The app often freezes and signs you out. When you sign back in full episodes are black screen only. Uninstaller and reinstall the app fixes this for about a month, then it is right back to freezing and auto signing you out. Come on Fox.....make the app as great as the channel!! Cut down the commercials, allow FF/Rew without having to sit through the same commercial again!! Show some pride!!!! Seriously!!

This app crashes on open. I tried clearing the cash, removing the app and re-installing it several times. No change. The app is broken and will no longer be my go to for news. The website is overrun with full page and intrusive ads that make the content unreadable. Too bad Fox News.

I finally got the app after years of reading Fox on an RSS reader. The ads make it difficult to read on a reader, making the page jump around as they load and refresh. Now in the app, I get an add at the bottom of the page to read the article in the Fox News app. I'm using the app! It's getting to the point of stopping reading Fox altogether.

Out of all the apps on my phone this is the worst. This is a horrible app. Weather you're on a browser or on a downloaded application it works horribly either way. Every comment must be written twice because it deletes your comment the first time. Every time you press ”read more” it takes you to a completely different page. It is impossibly slow. There is absolutely no function on the app that works correctly. It does not matter what phone I'm on, what internet company I'm on.

I use this app all the time, but the crashing and videos stopping on their own is getting ridiculous. You start the video again and it crashes out in the same place in the video. Fix this.

If I have more than one notification, randomly when I click an article, all of the notifications will go away. Then there is no way to get them back, so I can not read the articles I wanted to. Beyond frustrating...

When reading an article it is very easy to swipe left or right to the next article by mistake. Please in the settings allow us the turn this gesture on or off. When this is fixed will update to a positive review. Thank you

I would like the phone number to the person who is in charge of programming commercials. I get that my IP address routes local programming to me but this is just BS. The same commercials are played back to back and up to four times in one commercial break. I have one with for Driscoll Hospital with a new born crying and the parents have to keep getting up. Yeah, annoying, Try over and over. I am just about done with you and by the reviews, many more.

The app crashes and takes you to the top when you've already scrolled way down. It jumps while loading ads and makes it hard to read articles. Pops up asking to read in the app when you're already in the app. I'm done. I'll get my news elsewhere.

It saddens and disappoints me that an entity such as Fox News resorts to clickbait headlines on its website. Headlines should reveal the subject of the article so I can base my decision to read it on actual information contained in said article. If the content is of the sort that it relies on clickbait to manipulate people into reading it, then it is not worthy of inclusion, in my opinion. Major news outlets should be more selective. This is not the Enquirer.

I have been watching Fox and Friends every mornimg, on my phone, while I get ready for work for the longest time. Yesterday however I was not able to get anything except a black screen with a red revolving circle looking like it's loading but nothing I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app several times but nothing positive happened. I had to resort to listening to CNN radio while I got ready for I'm not a CNN fan! I like Fox and Friends!

I use this app every day. To stay up to date. The biggest and only complaint I have is that most of the commercial breaks, play the same commercial 3-4 times during that break. Also, a lot of time is spent on a screen telling me to scan the ar code to get the app, that I am using?

Abysmal. Couldn't get connected on phone so I could Watch Now. Restarted phone, uninstalled and reinstalled app. This is my regular experience both on my phone and Roku stick. LOUSY APP.

UPDATE!!!! 4-7-22 every time I have to use my username and password for my network provider the live video never works and I have to uninstall and reinstall the app Have had this app for a few years now, but now the app keeps crashing while scrolling through articles. Thinking about uninstalling and going with OAN app if it doesn't get fixed soon.

I've always liked Fox News, but this app needs worked on, I have already contacted the developers twice through email about these problems the first time almost a year ago the second time a few months ago. 1. When playing most videos, in the medium size or full-screen, the video stays dimmed with the pause, back and forward 10 seconds on the screen. 2. Recently, when trying to play some videos it has to be tried 3 times before it will get past the ads to actually play the video. Still not fixed.

Very slow to open and when I select a headline to open there's nothing there except for a blank screen. This has happened since last update on Android phone.

Why can't I stop the stupid Fox First "and more top headlines" notification from popping up every morning?? It never has before a few weeks ago. I have every notification turned off in the app except breaking news. That's another thing, not every other mundane everyday story is "breaking news", war breaking out is breaking news, Sept 11th was breaking news. A kid who's been missing is found safe is breaking news. Jfc I hate the 24 hour news cycle mentality.

Keeps freezing, closing and crashing continuously. You would think as sich a big news channel they would create a proper app. But this useless. Cant read longer then 1 min. Until it crashes.

Can't see replies or comments to my comments but once a week and when attempted, it doesn't work. Why bother having an interactive effort on stories if they aren't interactive? Videos often aren't easy to find within stories, broken links, no way to get assistance contact link also goes nowhere. It's not hard. Fix it.

Latest version of app signed me out and now I can't sign back in. The app keeps telling me my username or password is invalid but I use the exact same information to log in using a web browser and my credentials work as expected. I uninstalled the app and then reinstalled it hoping that might fix the issue. Wishful thinking, didn't work. Even tried creating a brand new account with the app and it failed. Received an error message stating FAILED TO CREATE ACCOUNT. TRY AGAIN LATER 😳 PLEASE FIX

Please get rid of the side to side swipe feature when reading a news story! It is so annoying to be reading and scroll up to continue reading but instead I am taken to the previous news story. We are not all reading in a still environment. Change this back!!

App is not currently working just keeps loading. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and the same thing. Use to be decent but has not been working at all for at least 2 or 3 days. Not just my phone others as well because I wanted to make sure it wasn't just my experience. Please fix it!

Love Fox, hate their app. Buffers more than it is readable. Lately I just give up trying. Deleted and reloaded app a half dozen times. No improvement. I have a new Pixel. Go to a headline in the feed and the videos in the article don't match. Agree with other posts, time to hire new IT talent. And don't blame it on Covid!

I've had this app for a long time and really, really liked it but recently it's getting harder and harder to read anything because of the constant bouncing around of the advertising changes. If this continues i'll probably just uninstall the app and eliminate one more annoyance from my life. UPDATE: I'm uninstalling the Fox News App from my devices, today was the last straw. I was reading the article about the Piers Morgan interview with Pres Trump and the article disappeared. Good bye.
