I like Fox Sports but this is the worst video app I have ever used. It will not stay in landscape view. If it buffers, it just quits instead of refreshing to live. Then, upon a manual refresh, it forces you to watch a paid ad first. Horrible experience trying to watch live events! I expect much better from FOX.
I stream using Roku, ffwd, rewind, pause, & exit buttons dont work. Have 2 press home button, leave Foxsports app, then go back in to watch another show. Not the remote control, bc this only happens in this app. Commercials VERY annoying. Same commercial plays multiple times in a row, plus in spanish. Wth, im not watching a spanish feed. Just saw same Chevron commerical IN SPANISH 5x in a row. Very annoying, 1 star so glitchy its hard 2 watch.
Puts out notifications that misrepresent associated content. Claimed an occurrence had happened, then after watching an ad, it played a video of some guy telling a camera he just saw the occurrence. No actual footage, because they assumably have no rights to the footage. But still used a still image in the notification that never was shown in connected video.
For 5 weeks been trying to watch USFL but every game I click on every week it says to many streams and the app has updated and it still doesn't work. The league is going to die because they can't even broadcast it on streaming apps.
When I play an episode of undisputed I get 10 mins in and the episode stops and says too many streams. But I just put the episode on so it is impossible to have too many streams cause I haven't even watched the episode once. I have uninstalled the app and still having the same problem.
Easily the worst app for streaming sports. Every time I start it, it has to restart due to an error, the picture quality is always jittery, you can't rewind during live games like other apps, and it can't stay connected on Wi-Fi even with the router being in the same room as the TV. Unfortunately i have no choice since the big ten games are almost always on here.
This app is so trash. I'm the only person that uses my cable login and anytime I try and start a live show from the beginning, 30 minutes in, it fails and says I have too many streams. You can't just go back to where it failed automatically or manually. You have to start from the beginning or where the live show is currently. This has gone on 2 years.
The interfacing components are clean, but this flow of this app is not as good as ESPN. I find it very difficult to navigate to what I want. Scores display is a sequence that doesn't make sense. UFC doesn't show you any fights that are coming up, I would expect my favorite content to be readily available when I open the app. I have to toggle over to it.
This app is a wonderful alternative to the ESPN app since it has more interesting sports and features. It's a must-have for any spots fanatic. I love it!
Watching online SHOULDN'T require signing in to a service provider! This is likely to become ILLEGAL in the future, legislation is already pending. This kind of behavior isn't acceptable. Many of us only want internet and watching on WAY OVERPRICED cable TV Isn't an option. I WATCH EVERYTHING ONLINE and that is how it should be! I suggest terminating the employment of those who supported this and changing this app completely. I may have to uninstall if it continues!
No way to rewind or fast forward. Only options are Live and Restart from the beginning. What is this, 2005? Also the app makes me have to login at least once a week like it gets amnesia. Since I pay my provider to receive this channel, it should work properly! Even a mini window that stays open while using other apps would be a plus! But no.. when I'm watching a show from the beginning and get a few minutes in, then I get a phone call, I go back to the app and it's playing Live TV again!
Enjoy Fox Sports and its content. Sad to see Joe and Troy exit the family. Generally easy to find scores and specific sports and streaming programs. Specific to hosted shows, there not easy to navigate to for clips and opinions on fox sports. Like outake pieces from The Herd or others. Its easier on google or youtube. Google provides fox programs outtakes. Seems it should be easier or have a line at the top like accesssing specific sports. Might stay on longer if this were more focus to grab.
They advertise you being able to watch stuff for free but it's a lie. You're still required to pay 100$ a month for a TV subscription. Really there is no reason to use this app if you have a TV. I would recommend the NFL app or other apps specifically dedicated to sports cause they are truly free without subscription or needing a TV. Fox is apparently garbage.
I absolutely HATE soccer! I don't want to hear about it, see it, watch it! Is there a way to select certain sports to get updates and not others? This would be a BIG HELP! Filtering teams would also be nice.
App is terrible. Always crashes, videos never load. Watching live events always lags and loses connection to the stream. Absolute joke for a streaming app.
This is by far the worst app for streaming anything. Every 10-15 minutes it's either buffering or kicking me off for to many streamers. I understand if it's the Super Bowl but not during a NASCAR race.
Lately this app has been running like garbage. Every 5 minutes(if that) its timing out due to too many streams, which is ridiculous in my opinion.
When the scheduled time is up for the event, even if it's running over and still live, like they always do, it exits full screen mode. If you go back in, it keeps kicking you out. Literally the most exciting part of games can only be watched on 20% of your screen. That's a terrible mistake that should have been fixed from the start.
Blacks out everything, even local Fox channels. I have the most expensive DirecTV package and I can't stream anything on this app, just tells me all the programs are unavailable with my TV provider which is inherently incorrect. I travel a lot and rely on this app to stream sports I like, or at least I used to.
What is wrong with your app? It's a joke. It keeps timing out, reporting too many streams, just so your users click the retry button and view more ads
I don't like the access. I kept trying to activate app but couldn't. All other networks,are connected with paramount, peacock, but not for. I could watch the game live on my phone with yahoo but not on my TV. Most everyone has cut the cable carriers help us access you differently
App is complete garbage. It either freezes, stops responding, or says too many streams when it's the only app open!
I should only see the scores of sports I picked and not ones I don't want like nascar or any other sport when clicking on scores also the games of that day should be at the top not past weeks those should be at the bottom or in a calendar that can be look up if desired
Fox Sports has been broadcasting NHRA Camping World Series Drag Racing for several years now. They do a better job than ESPN and we love the broadcasting crew. Why on earth does the Fox Sports app not have NHRA listed as a sport to follow and get news on? NASCAR is listed. Why no love for NHRA and its fans?
Only used it one time and every time I try to watch something else it keeps giving me an error saying Too Many Streams and hitting retry does absolutely nothing
Was hoping to be able to watch games since I can't get everyrhing, have an over-the-air antenna and refuse to pay the exessive cost of cable or satellite tv. I'm willing to view ads. Was disappointed that one must be paying for tv to use this app. News is fine but want viewing ability.
Using for just Sports and not to watch Sport- Very clean smooth, HAS SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS, shows News in a sleek and Proffessional way, Accurate Stats, You get updates on Games, Rosters are accurate and up to date,This Even shows odds of winning per game, you get to choose Fav players, I really like this app well Done! The stories feature however takes over the home page and it tbh takes away from the app in my opinion. Watching Sports - not seen good reviews. I myself can't watch live(Antennatv)
I am not too hard to please. I live a simple life. Thank you Fox Sports for allowing me to enjoy FULL game highlights instead of a minutia of chopped up game scenes! One suggestion would be to display team icons for college teams instead of leading with conference names. It would make finding a team a bit easier. Otherwise, keep up the good work.
