The app has gotten better. Easier to use and find the items I am looking for. I like that you can switch items from pick up to delivery if you need to. Howeve I hate the new better for you suggestions. Not interested in have a store tell me how they think I should eat. Especially when they have no idea what my dietary needs are. And those rantings are based off junk science done by special interests groups.
I feel like not a single person at Kroger has ever actually tried to use the shopping list in this app. It has literally been broken for years. Items duplicating, the checkbox to clear items not functioning, checked off items reappearing, list order randomly changing. Every one of these has been a bug since i first installed the app over 3 years ago. Seemingly no effort has been made to fix usability, but now they effectively apply a surcharge to anyone that doesn't use the broken app
With the last update, this app doesn't seem to be able to use the voice recognition capabilities of a pixel 6 pro nor find the calendar app on a pixel 6 pro. Uncertain why this is but makes that workflow less usable. This is one of the poorest excuses for an update that I have seen in many years of using this app. The shopping experience is at best painful. I may have to choose doing business with another provider.
I enjoy this app it's convenient and easy to use. The best part is I can find any dietary specific foods I need in a quick search and then add it to my cart for pick up instead of wasting time browsing shelves for the specific products. I am a permanent fan. I even left my debit card in my car and was able to use my card thru the app with ease.
What is wrong with you people? Every update just makes it worse for pick up orders. Are you just trying to get rid of that business? First you made whether or not to allow substitutions harder. Used to I could add my list to the cart in toto. Now the list function has been dumbed down to be really only useful if you are walking around the store. It's geared to checking off items one at a time.
The apps functionality was a little lacking and the filter options are limited. No sort by price? The camera option doesn't work consistently for adding personal coupons. Otherwise it is good at letting you know what coupons there are and the break down of categories is good.
The app hardly ever works and when I'm in the store it never works to scan coupons or upload. It freezes all the time. I have switched to shopping at Safeway because their app is easy to use and always works in store when I need to add a coupon. Maybe take pointers from them on how to make your app user friendly.
I was really enjoying using this app but all of a sudden when I type in the search bar it repeats letters. It makes it almost impossible to search anything quickly. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still having this problem.
Constant issues while using this app. With every search you have to re-select the filters so that a bunch of unavailable items for delivery are shown when you're trying to shop in store or for a pick up order. Dietary filters are not accurate so always read ingredients if you have dietary restrictions.
Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. DEFINITELY NOT USER/SENIOR FRIENDLY. I'm a frequent shopper and should have all discounts applied to my card if I want that item. It takes me hours to navigate my laptop, just trying to get to My List and Shop-In- Store is a F'G hassell. I'm always put in the CART or DELIVERY. TERRIBLE APP besides taking 2 days to do all my shopping because of the stores size, it's 2-3 hours on your apps.
It's difficult to tell if you actually successfully added an item to your cart. It's also difficult to tell which cart (pick up, delivery, etc) you are adding to. It is also difficult to go and view your cart. Beyond these weird difficulties, app is pretty good.
Used to work great! Ordered for delivery today at 7-9. It changed to 10:15 @7:30. Then at 10am changed until 12pm. What happens if I am not going to be here at that time? Don't think about having groceries delivered the day before a holiday because it will be canceled and then take 9-15 business days to get a refund because of Covid. Sure doesn't take long for you to take it from my account! This happened again so never ordering delivery from this app again.
Really wish the cash back feature in the savings section worked properly. Very annoying to have to contact customer service basically every time. Although they do a good job ratifying the situation....
This platform is clunky, and there's no product information. Also whatever algorithm gives you substitution options or does it's "best" to find a replacement is awful - it finds not great substitutions (if any, even when you know there are some) and you only get the option of the bad substitution or nothing.
I order from this app all the time it is horrible it is the most confusing app I have ever in my life ready to deal with. I am a smart human being all I want to do is add 2 gallons of milk to my order and I followed I've looked it up 20 times on the internet and I followed every single step that they say and it's not possible it can't be done. I am done with them. The app is cluttered it's confusing you don't know if you're in delivery you don't it's horrible it's terrible.
Worst grocery app ever! It is frustrating to use. I agree with all the other complaints; my biggest beef is that I can't move a 'list' to my cart for pick-up! And, from the weekly ad, why can't I just add to my cart? Oh, and the 'contact us' feature is a waste; they never answer the questions adequately.
The shopping list feature is terrible broken and barely usable. I've sent feedback over a year ago about my problems and the feature is still just as buggy.
love the website and especially the order pickup. super easy to use. I can compare prices and find the best deal then just drive up and get my stuff no more crossing stuff off of my list because I'm tired of shopping or am in a hurry. I love it!
Looks like an app designed by committee and they incorporated everyone's idea into the opening screen. The UI is a confusing mess. Coupon pictures are so small you can't tell what it's for. The extremely truncated description's don't help.
Over does side scrolling when a page scroll would be of more use. Page heading does not scroll out of sight, which uses valuable laptop screen real estate (1/3 of the screen)(Also makes weekly ads next to impossible to read, We know whose ad it is, We navigated there.). Product headings exceed product box width. Products have to be opened at times to see what product you are looking at (again this applies to laptop). If I were on a large screen desktop it would probably be OK.
Awful, broken search. Filters reset every time you do a new search. Sometimes items mysteriously aren't added to the cart. Can't find any way to refund screwed up items (of which there are many).
This app failed again! Very poor design and not customer friendly. Utter hell for most senior citizens. Thank goodness for the checkout person. He gave me the discount price without a hassle and indicated they have many issues with your Fred Meyer app.
Used to be ok to use this app for making lists, pick up orders, coupons, but the main reason I used it was for pick ups. Now I literally can't add anything to my pickup cart, BUT it's not obvious. You can click the button to 'add to cart', and while on that screen it may even look like you have one in your cart. But if you open the cart itself, it is always empty, and you can never set up a pickup time. I have wasted an unfortunate amount of time trying to figure out why.
honestly, I wish there were a more seemless way to go from the ad to the products you'd like. when you click on an image, it marks the group of items that are on the deal but doesn't pull up the actual item you'd actually like to buy. Then you have to search. my opinion is maybe when you click on a group it pulls up all the items in that group that are on the deal. making for a much better online experience. honestly my wife and I often choose other places because they're apps are easier use.
All I want to do is get my shopping done and have it be accurate. This app is full of dynamic content that slows down my phone takes several seconds to load and pops up random things when I'm trying to select something causing my phone to redirect to a page that I did not want to go to. On top of that we regularly get things from past orders again or go to finish our order a day after starting it only to find that it is inaccurate (explicitly ordered x but no longer listed as in the cart).
very glitchy and slow. loses items placed in cart at times and very slow searching. very frustrating. i have no problems with any other apps of similar types
I've been trying to use the "cash back" functionality but it seems random as to when the offers actually credit me! I've thrown away money by thinking I would get cash back on buying items and then it never "redeems" in the app!
It does some things very well and some things very badly. When using the app to add items to your cart, it is nearly impossible to ensure you are only actually shopping for things via the method you want (delivery vs pick-up vs shipping). It should default to only showing items available for pickup if you've already told it that's what you're going to do.
