FX, ABC, & NatGeo apps have same problem. When streaming w/ Roku, after commericials the audio & video are out of sync. Have 2 exit show then play again to get it back in sync.. Have 2 do this after every commercial

It would be 5 stars but unfortunately when you long into FX on your TV it takes at least 10 minutes to load. The time that it takes to get from the FX screen to the home screen is insane.

This app is a scam! It's just an ad scam for Hulu! You can't watch any shows, even with cable log in, it just says 'only on Hulu.' That's insane and pathetic.

UPDATE: Installed on a new phone, and got it to work for a few hours, but when I re-opened the app later, suddenly my "TV SERVICE PROVIDER" was no longer signed in. When I go to do that, I get nothing but a blank screen. What a disappointing experience. This would be a great app if the service were reliable. As I write this, I'm watching a spinning circle on a black screen, which has been there for a while. Also, the app is very buggy when casting. I'm on a Galaxy Casting to a Chromecast Ultra

Really like FX and some of its shows, this app has had a lot of change since its first release. The app works great, but the one thing I don't understand and why I give it 2 stars is because of its interactive ads. Why do I need to interact with a ad?? just show the dang ad and move on, this is most annoying when trying to play a season with it stopping after every episode so that I interact with a ad. Please remove the interactive ads!

The worst streaming app I have ever used. It will randomly stop while viewing and take you back to the menu and won't always take you back to the right spot when you resume it. Issues with fast forward, rewind, and pause. Don't waste your time, the frustration isn't worth it. Issues with trying to download the app on Xbox. Their troubleshooting articles have not helped with any of the problems.

This app is complete garbage. I logged in through the cable provider but the only way I could watch anything is if it was live (which didn't even load) or I had to buy FX+. Are you kidding me?! On top of that the app itself was constantly crashing and saying the servers were down, yet on PS Vue it worked fine (I also decided to watch the show during the free trial on there instead). Please don't tell me to look into the Troubleshooting section because I already did and that doesn't matter. I force closed, cleared the cache and the data, and I restarted my phone but nothing worked. Everyone wonders why people prefer Netflix over cable. Guess I'll just watch the show on Netflix in a year.

It used to be okay when I first used it, now I can't even watch anything without the stupid "app unavailable" popup. I also see a lot of people have had terrible expieriences with this app. If you're going to make a streaming service, treat it as such and try to update often and not once every like 2 months. Not to mention that poor excuse of a troubleshooting page, nothing there even tries to address the problems people are having. Would not recommend downloading, stick with Netflix, Hulu, ect.

This app is trash. Whenever I want to skip ahead (or go back) even if it's 15 seconds, I am forced to watch a 30 second commercial. Every. Single. Time. And it's usually the same commercial. AND sometimes it won't go to the time that you selected, instead it'll go to a different time in the show. And if you try and fix it, you guessed it, you're forced to watch another commercial. Absolute trash.

I downloaded this app to stream my favorite shows on FX and FOX at the beginning and it was great😀😀. I love it the app offer so much for the on the go individual like myself. It offer all the shows that comes on FX and FOX with free subscription with your cable provider. I have some issue with the app that only happen when and it begin once downloading this app. I open it over the next few days this error message of CoverCornerMusicController close app constantly popping up would not let me exit out. Even when I finally make it to the home screen of my phone and clear all the recent screen the error message pops back up. I literally have to take the battery out and turn my phone back on to get the error message off. But thing is I can't go back to the app or this error will continue. Please fix this issues.

The FX+ app is a Beta version but they don't have any problem taking down your CC info. You have to log in to your cable provider, then log into the app, and from there everything is buggy and slow. I am literally unable to cancel my membership right now because nothing happens when I click the link. I initiated a live chat session, and the program crashed.

Would be nice if it was clarified that you have to hit the i (encosed in a circle) button at the top of the Simpsons page to get back to the old Simpsons world. New UI "every episode ever" section is lacking audio commentaries. Still enjoying the app, but wish the updates would've been more clear for existing users. EDIT: It seems like even this functionality has been removed. Will the commentaries/old UI be reinstated, or have they been permanently removed. Either way, these seem like changes that are at least worthy of a note in the change log, as it's clear you've changed far more than making our homescreen "more personalized and easier to navigate" Edit 2: Received generic reply email from FX that did not answer my questions, responding asking again, awaiting results.

The FXNOW app is not working. I guess after the update, its just went downhill. I can't watch anything. It just loads and loads & says there is an error occured. The website doesn't work either. I have Spectrum TV, so it should stream automatically. & its not. Some people are saying its not supporting Chromecast anymore (in which I have a chromebook) & Disney has taken over the company. Yall have lost a customer. This is not okay. If I could give zero stars, I would.

I have just about every TV/video app that there is and this is the ONLY one that I have constant issues with. It's forever frozen or won't cast. It literally freezes my entire phone (brand new Note 9). And it's also the only app that makes me sign into my provider every time I use it, even when I'm at home. It's complete trash and the Simpsons is the only reason I ever mess with it.

Downloaded app. Attempted to sign in with my satellite provider, Direct TV. Received an error message saying "You'll now manage your service with an AT&T Access ID. Click here to finish setting up your new Access ID, then come back and log in with that ID and Password." Clicked link and was sent to some random AT&T page that refused to load. Waited on it for 20 minutes. Started over. Same result. Yes, our internet connection is working. Yes, I restarted my phone and re-installed the app. No, the troubleshooting page had no useful information. Uninstalled app.

The design for this app is awful, I constantly have to sign in and verify my cable provider. If your using your computer at home it works fine but for an on-the-go quick episode this app is too much of a hassle. Customer support couldn't help me resolve the issues. I would rather pay a higher monthly subscription fee if they would deduct the network provider requirement.

There really should be a "no stars" option. This is really the worst streaming app I've used by far,and I've used them all! It will not play an episode for more than 3 seconds without the screen freezing, but dialog continues. The best part: the preposterous overabundance of commercials you're forced to sit through are not only more than cable, but they play crystal clear, no freezes. This app is GARBAGE, and that's too nice a word for it! Uninstall!

App tells you there's free content, to just look for stuff 'without a lock icon'. This is more or less false, as the only things viewable without some form of purchase are 60 second trailers one can find anywhere online. Personally screened every show and a lot of movies, and couldn't watch a single one without purchase. The only free part of this app is the download, while 99.9% of real content is restricted. In my opinion, apps such as this should never be listed as 'free apps' in the store.

This is an OK at best app. I have to clear my cache before starting a movie and again halfway through as it says the movie is unavailable at this time. Takes 5 minutes to play 80 seconds of ads because of poor loading. Good movies you can't find anywhere else is the only upside. Samsung Note 10 + on verizon unlimited and I dont have these problems on other streaming aps.

Lacks basic features. You can't auto play episodes in a series, or create playlists. Browsing titles is awkward and you're not likely to find any new titles you didn't already know were there. App often bugs and refuses to play titles even with a valid provider and/or fx+ subscription. There are no settings options, preferences, or any other way to slightly customize the experience. terrible app.

I love FX shows, but the video quality is so poor, I couldn't stand watching my shows on it. Even while using Wi-Fi!! Tried watching The Americans on it, but the picture was so blurred & pixelated that I couldn't even make out the sub-titles for the english translations when characters spoke Russian. It was just completely unwatchable. If/when they improve their streaming quality, I'll be happy to subscribe again.

The worst video app in history. The video quality 50% of the time is such that you can barely make out what is going on, it's constantly stopping to load (I have a great internet connection) and twice now has it gone to commercial while I was watching a show and it rewound itself and played the clip that I just got done watching. Do yourself a favor and do not download this.

There was a recent update that does not allow this app to cast on chromecast. This also includes nat geo as well. Everything was working well but after the update you can't cast on chromecast. Please bring back the old app so people can use chromecast! Update: The issue I was experiencing was due to the fact that chromecast stopped support built in TV Chromecast. I just purchased a 3rd generation chromecast and everything works beautifully!
