Game of War - Fire Age

Game performs great, very generous when they make mistakes but you have to spend $50 to get a pack. Very few $20 packs. Doesn't lag, though.

This is the game that started it all: needing VIP to literally get anything done. Without VIP, prepare yourself for extremely slow progression, super long wait times and a game with probably the MOST WHALES I'VE EVER SEEN. Don't waste your time here.

Expensive game to play, regular glitches but the biggest issue is the absence of any genuine support when problems are encountered. The support staff just issue generic emails without reading what your issue is. Save your time and money and avoid this game.

2022 update: At first it was okay, $4.99 packs then $19.99 packs to help you advance, now mostly everything is $100 packs.. Less and less players around anymore everyone gets tired of the game fast because prices are way to high for a Good play game you can't compete unless your willing to spend thousands on this game.

@ Ben W. What was you name in K1? I remember everyone crying that it cost too much to get t4 troops, looking back I think it should've stayed like it. At least then, everyone was on a attackable level, one or two rallies and the top guy would be crushed.

You'll never be able to play against the top players, unless you invest thousands of dollars. for the stupidest cartoon game there is. 5 seconds of 9 figures marching, a clash and them marching back with a report saying whether you won or lost. in between, lots of button pushing for what they call research and making troops and traps. when you buy the research you never know how much you need so you always have to buy more. its always misleading. The worst customer service there is. Run run away

Gave 3 stars as back in 2015 this game was amazing, when T4 were the top troop and stats were in the thousands not quadrillions. GOW was one of the best games , I spent alot of money on it became one of the top players for what??? just to make someone rich. play this game for 2 or 3 years the company should've let the game like it was at the beginning, now you have to spend hundreds of dollars trying to be on tip of your game, the only good thing on this game is all the friends that I made over the years.

Just seems like this game needs a lot of upgrades and development. Right now it looks like a high school project that was done last minute and none of the things you see on your screen is refined. Too many buttons and far too much to look at

How do I move another account (game of war) from a iPhone to the device I'm using (Samsung)? The game doesn't open up to give me the chance to shut it down so I can have the chance at least to open it and not lose it?

I played this game for a little over a year. It was really great when it first hit the scene. So fun meeting and communicating with people all over the world. Helped build a really strong alliance and we were actually doing pretty well. It was easy to build up and create a formidable stronghold but sooner rather than later everyone who really wanted to compete was having to spend hundreds of dollars, including myself. I had to bow out. Leaving behind many new friends in the process, as you really do come to know many new people, but, it was just WAY too much to keep up with. I don't mind having to spend a "little" money for a game or experience but, not THOUSANDS of dollars! As depressing as it sounds that's exactly what MZ expects from you. Not just 50$ or 100$ (which should give you everything you need in ANY given game) I'm literally talking thousands of dollars. Everything "NEW" that comes out...be prepared to pay for it in a 100$ pack (minimum if you really want to compete) and you don't even get everything you need from that alone...I watched a lot of people waste a lot of money on this BS. F***ing crazy. *Game is a pay to play...don't waste your time or money.

Fun for awhile but frusterating once you get to a certain level. Its hard to progress quickly without spending a lot of money on upgrades, resources, speedup and just about everything else needed in game. Packages are $100 for decent items after first two packages. Except to spend a lot if you want to grow quickly and enjoy certain aspects if the game. Also requires daily play if you dont want to be demolished constantly by other players.

This started out as a fun game that you could spend what ever time you had available on. However as the game progressed it got way to complex, taking way too much time to be viable if you had any life outside of GoW. The cost of getting materials went up and up. So unless you had lots of money to spend in the game all you could do was stay shielded or you would be destroyed within moments of dropping your shield. I got fed up having to rebuild my troops etc to even be able to play.

A good game (maybe 3-5 years ago). A solid and solid strategy game concept to collaborate with other players. Fast forward to present time. I've been inactive player for a long time. While checking all of my city tiles almost 40% of it is unlocked and the way to unlock it is to buy. Another dimension is introduced but you will go back to square one. To summarize it, the game evolved to a money making scheme instead of entertainment.

This game is targets addiction. It is a total cash grab. You can easily spend 1k a month and still be behind the curve. As soon as you think you're maxed, they release something new to force you to keep spending. They start off with cheap $5 packs. buy one then it turns to 20. then 100. Once it's a 100, and one pack doesn't do anything. you'll need at least 10 at a time to do anything of significance.

gameplay is confusing and to directly purchase something is impossible. I have noticed there are events to seem that last forever(and i have checked they appear to do) samething with sales. You cannot directly purchase how much gold you want instead you have to get a bundle and then get too expensive. I see no option to purchase 2 building, or research cues. There is almost no grace period for the events or sales. Also the events, I don't know how to get the certain item or do a thing to compete

Game has no basis in skill. Starts of simple and quick to try and get you hooked, but after a short time everything takes so long to build that the only way to win is to spend lots of money buying upgrades (hundred dollar packages are not uncommon). Don't waste your time, just skip this and play a game that has some aspect to it other than spending your hard earned cash.

This game is a pay to win. There is no way to ever get ahead without buying in. The developers cleverly add timer buttons so you waste speed ups or loyalty trying to complete daily objectives. Pack prices are what you pay for. Average buy in is 100$ USD. If there is a special sale for say 20$, you get 20 dollars worth an it dosent have much to offer. The game developers are constantly adding new content and items and you have to have key items in order to keep up. Its not exciting. Not worth it.

The UI is ATROCIOUS, menus are overcrowded an nightmare to navigate. The graphics are sloppy. Images overlap like they just didn't give a da*m. It wasn't always like this... Did you know that heroes used to be animated? Nothing fancy but still better than these low res jpegs. Idk what happened but the overall quality and performance of the game has gradually diminished. Despite our more powerful devices and despite MZ lining their pockets. 2.5+ year player originally from #446 Kaya.

Strategy changes frequently due to programming changes. Game truly geared toward constant and increased spending. Those who don't continually spend large amounts ($100+) will be unable to battle those that do. Battle of the wallets is a better name. Game is fun if you don't worry about being competitive or wiped out constantly.

It's blotchy at times and in app purchases are too expensive. Most packs cost $100.

Started off good, then impossible w/out spending. Unfortunately you get smacked down and destroyed very quickly unless you're a spender. Keeping a shield over your city, ESPECIALLY WHEN OFFLINE, is a MUST!!!. If you don't mind spending at least $100/month it is a cool game, but will take even more $$$ to keep up with some people.
