Easy to use interface. Unfortunately it doesn't have all the options for some cars including mine but was able to do basic functions and with unlimited vehicles available it is definitely worth the price! Has many functions for the common cars out there. Suggestions you say? I do I'd like to see more available options for hemi motors. Specifically the Chrysler 300C before they started using mds.
Right now app is crashing as fast as I start it up. Tried force stopping it, clearning cache and data, and uninstalling and reinstall but still crashes immediately. Pop uo says app has bug and needs fix from developers. Little difficult to figure out adding my 2 autos. Maybe be easier if you could add the vin nunbersvon your account option.
Tried the app and even though it detects the problem it doesn't clear the codes. 8/7/21 Testing the app again after i fixed my airbag problem. Scan everything and I like the doc report. 4/30/22 - One trying i find out that i don't like is the fact that you cannot rename or remove your own vehicles, only tech support can do it. These are our vehicles and we should have full access and control of our data.
I paid for the lite version of this application because of an ABS light on the dash of a Ford Focus. Scanning the ABS gave no errors. A full scan gave "4" errors. One was about the ECM having an electrical power issue while the other told me that there was a sync problem between the cam and crankshaft position sensors. These two problems showed up twice. Once in the scan of the Driver's door and then in the scan of the Anti-theft system. I don't believe that there is any issue with the ECM or the cam/crank timing sensors but I absolutely KNOW that there is a problem with the ABS. The problem is almost certainly a rear ABS sensor as this model of Focus has issues with that. I've replaced four of them in under 30,000km. All I wanted to know was which sensor needs to be changed, left or right. I guess that is too much to ask.
I had been using this app for several years, thinking that "it discovers fault codes which the other apps cannot". On my first car, it showed one fault each time I checked and I left the car to different authorized shops many times. They all said "There is no fault code". Then on my second car, it was fault-free in the app. Now it says two faults are there, but actually indicated systems work just fine. Also, once again, all the other apps say there is no fault. So I am a bit suspicious about made-up codes to milk some money... Reply: Actually, you can scare people to buy subscription to clear the codes (which are not seen on other apps or workshops).
I really like this app. I got the highest subscription for just $30.00 instead of the listed price from a promo. This app actually got codes that my other two apps were displaying which helped me out alot so I knew exactly what was going on. The special functions seemed to work pretty well though I don't know if it actually helped or did as great of a job as an actual obd2 scanner. It is a bit slow when doing entire system scan but I like that it sends me a full report when it's done. Good app!
Paid for subscription, but my car doesn't even exist in the system to be selected. It's a Jeep Cherokee, not a rare car. Don't waste your money for subscription
Very Nice App at Affordable prices... I have scanned almost 30 cars in 20 days... Every Issue of every car has been solved by the caRPM Garage Pro... I am Loving it ... !!!
I am using it in my Maruti Suzuki S-Presso car. It is working fine but it cannot fetch the fuel system data, and shows "Data not available"
Amazing. Because of this app and product I've been able to fix three vehicles and I have saved myself a total of $6,000 in repairs. Just because I was able to use it figure out what's wrong with my vehicles and able to fix the vehicle myself.
Free demo shows 4 Codes, but you cannot clear them. Paid the subscription to clear the codes.... Jo the app doesn't find the codes even tho the lights are clearly on.....
Seems to work ok, but it's incredibly spammy. I signed up and immediately got 4 identical emails telling me I should give them money, then about 10 notifications in 24 hours saying the same thing. Ridiculous.
I have a Nissan 350z, and this is the only odb2 app that works fully with my car, it's reading is a little slow it took around 10-15 mins to complete but it's thorough, definitely worth a try.
I'm not subscribing to anything without evaluating. Daily spammy app notifications won't change that. They're annoying, and so Instead of subscribing, I'm uninstalling.
Wants me to login before use...its now more than a week...still cant login. Have latest update, but no luck in using this app...going to delete it and look for something else...
This is the ONLY reasonably priced base-version OBD2 app that does not require a proprietary device ... AND will read ABS codes (on my Chrysler/Dodge vehicle)... using my existing ObdLink MX+ device.
This app does not make clear what are the different options as in the 3 payment options and features associated with them, particularly the advanced which mentions special functions. What are these special functions what are they for and what do they do. There needs be more information on this to allow me to make a decision if I choose to purchase as I might end up paying extra and never needing to use said special functions. App looks and works well for basic functions though.
Works well on several of our cars - gives us a great heads up before heading to the garage for the bigger stuff. Would highly recommend.
Use the free version to check all sensors takes a while but after using many others this is only one that read 1999 ford galaxy mk1 besides my £200 scanner but upgrade not needed due to the scanner
Huge waste of time. I have been doing this for over 30 years, and this is the slowest, most bloated, and damn near worst OBD app i have ever seen. Pick almost any of the 100's of other apps and you will be much happier!
Why does this app only works when it wants to work and what is the OBD scanner that works with garage pro the garage pro app only works the first week I downloaded it then every time after that it does not work at all
App is laced with bloatware. Out-of the blue the app is closed and a pop up was talking about free shipping from an item unrelated to this program. And it came from this app! Be careful. Also program didn't detect any issues with my jeep yet my abs and other numerous lamps were lit. False returns even from a demo app.
Don't waste your time. You have to pay for everything. They let you scan the codes but then it makes you pay to see what the codes are. And it's not cheap at $35. What a rip.
I haven't used this app yet because I don't see anything for BMW I HAVE 4 NOTHING FOR MB NOT GOOD TY JGBJR
Wow! What a beautiful interface! It looks so great on my phone and it offers so many options. It connected easily to my car, too! Unfortunately, the pretty interface and endless options are completely useless, because, despite the Airbag warning light shining brighter than a star in the Old Testament, this app claimed everything is running perfectly in my car. I think it needs its eyes checked because this application is as useless as a chocolate teapot.
Does everything I need it to do, and the price is right! User friendly and great support make it worth the five stars I rated it. Good Job, devs!
I connected a 2006 SLK55 AMG and it scanned just fine. Other apps can do the same thing for free, I'm not sure why this app has an annual subscription. When you click on Special Features it just goes to the ad of their Bluetooth dongle. It doesn't explain if I need to buy one to use the special features or if they are just pushing another thing to buy. Would be helpful to see what these "Special Features" actually do. I emailed the company, but there has been no response in over a month.
If you're looking for an app to simply figure out why your engine light is on this is NOT your best option. Instead try CarScanner. You get full feature access for 2 weeks free. (& you're not automatically pushed into the paid version after that either). This is the only app Ive seen with a throttle reset option for Honda. Awhile back I gave 2 stars due to the subscriptions being way overpriced. Changing my review after seeing random sale offers, occasionally with reasonably priced options.
Don't waste your time, or your money! I tried the free version to read an ABS fault on a Nissan. Wouldn't scan past 43% on repeated attempts. Emailed support multiple times, they responded once saying they were working on it. Never heard from them, it was never fixed. Meanwhile, I kept getting emails urging me to buy a subscription for $69. That was a month ago. 😡 So, I ordered an Autel AL629 on Ebay for $79 w/free shipping. Arrived in less than 5 days; scanned, found my problem.
Have used a few times on the free version, seemed ok. IMMEDIATELY after i bought a yearly subscription for A$52.99 the app shutdown, wouldnt connect to my bt obd scanner and the app kept closing when i tried to open one of the selections from menu, all except the demo one. Have emailed already and am waiting on a response.
