This is a great keyboard but there is some strange issue when using it to type into certain types of web forms. I use Firefox so I can't say if it happens with other browsers but the problem has been present for years across multiple phones (so the problem is not just with my current Galaxy S9). It will start putting in double letters, repeating words or sections of text as I'm typing, or won't delete text that is visible unless I try a bunch of times. Like I said, not a new issue and happens across multiple phones. If that issue was resolved this would be a 5 star app!
I LOVE THIS APP! Best keyboard app out there in my opinion, and i've tried a lot. I've seen many reviews of people complaining about all the ads, but what do you expect for a free app? That's how they keep it free for us. But there's a solution for getting rid of all those annoying ads if you want. It's called "STOP being so tight with your money", and pay the $9.99/mo Premium fee that removes the ads and MUCH MUCH more or Buy the 1 time ad removal fee of $2.99 that only removes all the ads.
I paid for the ad free version and as soon as the app updated the ads came back and it says I have to pay again to get rid of the ads. This app created its on screen saver lock screen for my phone that is full of ads and I cant turn it off. Every time I swipe the screen to get into my phone the browser opens to pull up the ads. In addition to that, my phone is super slow now. I REFUSE to pay for this app twice within the matter of months.
I like this keyboard much better than the default and I'd rate it a lot higher, but the spell check rarely works. The correct spelling will pop up but it doesn't change it unless I click on it ("amd", for example), and yes I have it set up to fix it automatically. It will change words I don't want it to change though, like "medical", it always changes it to "Medi-Cal". That is not the most common spelling by far, by any means. It can be extremely frustrating.
Annoying ads! Every time I unlock my phone, I have an ad taking up my entire screen! They want you to pay $10 a month for premium to get rid of the ads, which is ridiculous considering I paid a one-time fee for life with Go SMS Pro to get rid of ads! Also, their themes all look the same to me. Kika is better.
Go keyboard use to be better, but it isn't all that bad now. The only problem i see is that most of the themes are premium and none of the themes can be downloaded within the app and i have to install them as separate apps, which takes up the valuble space in my device. . I would appreciate if this would get resolved soon.
I've been using go keyboard for years and years because i loved being able to customize it. After this last update, all my customizations disappeared and i haven't been able to get them back. Now I'm looking for a different keyboard to start using.
This is the most UNSTABLE App I've got. The only reason I use it is due to its ''Configurability''. It'll lock my entire system till it catches up or I have to pull the battery. So, everything I do, especially notes, letters and the like, are all done on programs that ''Automatically Save Every Last Letter & Entry'' so I don't loose everything in the reboot. Especially when researched and long written documents are done. The on-board dictionary is also simply pathetic.! Truly "Frustrating". !
Unistalling, b/c every single theme I click on on this app, I get a screen saying I'm offline and to try again. The regular go keyboard app isn't like this, granted you have to pay for nearly every theme on it. Doubt many ppl want to pay $100 for keyboard themes. Smh.
This Go Keyboard PRO does NOT allow Chinese language, so can't write Chinese on my cellphone, in the past, it was allowed, at least on "Go Keyboard" allowed, I paid this PRO at price $64.94, and try to use, but surpriselly found out this important language(Chinese) does not allow to select, so I asked to cancel this purchase, google play said may take up to 4 days to make decision. Hope google play will refund me. Be careful anybody wants to type in Chinese don't purchase this Go Keyboard PRO.
The keyboard fails to be responsive when I need to open up my keyboard for Discord Mobile, it is honestly agitating. As well as a few apps, like Chrome. It's just.. Ugh, disappointing. I used to have no problems but now it is making me go insane after the few updates of this.
Love the launcher, SMS, and keyboard, but since I'm paying a LOT per year for all three premium, I shouldn't have commercials popping up. Had none before installing Go Launcher. Got rid of Go SMS, which didn't do the trick. If getting rid of the keyboard doesn't do it, Launcher will be next. Hate it, because I love the launcher.
ok, this app doesn't even have any keyboards. you have to download all other keyboards you want before this app will work. secondly, popup ads like crazy!!! at startup on my new note9, as well as during regular use. this app is a parasite. can't even start up and unlock my phone without closing two seperate ads. Fix this BS and I'll reinstall.
You guys have changed the tool bar and made it less functional and now there is no drop down menu for the "TAB" function and this is a much less user friendly version. I had hoped going premium would restore it to its former functionality but it appears it has not.
i dont know if anybody is experiencing it as well, but is there a way to turn off the clipboard from saving screenshots? its annoying. i tend to save a lot of text for later use and ofc there will be instances you have to take screenshots of stuff. so then comes the time i need to use the text i had copied just to find my clipboard littered with screenshots and my text being gone.
You know, I paid for this app several years ago now. Paid for the launcher as well. Also bought several themes for both the launcher and the keyboard. I used it every year at Christmas because it was nicely customizable with those things I'd bought. But now, I have to PAY MONTHLY for something I bought that I thought, stupid me, was permanent! Ridiculous. They've gotten enough of my money and I won't be paying $99 a year for any of their apps.
Used to love it, now the auto spacing, horrible and 2nd grade educated autocorrect make it look like I write like an idiot. I spend more time correcting than writing. Keyboard automatically pops up covering apps in use making them unusable, i.e. trying to select gifs in FB msgr. No keyboard app should pop up when a keyboard is not required. Thought maybe I'd just have to get used to it again but it's made me too insane, have to uninstall.
This app it's ok, the reasons I said that because I have 2 problems! First problem is Auto correct it's awful and not working well..so I have to go back and fix what I wrote!! Second problem is it will start putting in double letters , repeating words or sections of text as I am typing, So please fix this problems and make it much better then after that I can give 5 stars! Doesn't have the essential Ctrl key. Conventional Ctrl +X, +C, +V, +A, +Z +Y combos can't be used. Available themes are close to nothing. GOes from bad to worst. With launcher, weather, keyboard, themes, widgets, translations. Never buy.
Recently got a Galaxy a20 and there is no option to turn off the "offensive word" sincere on the voice keybored and it cuts off way too early in the middle of my speech or it doesn't give me a second to breathe or think before I can continue again because it cuts off again there should be an option of how long you want it to stay on after you're done talking to make sure you were actually done talkin
Keeps quitting on my pixel 2xl and my Samsung tablet 10a, I've deleted both apps from both devices, then reinstalled both back again a week or so later. Correction never came on either or when I hit the space button. Reported both the 1st time, still no fix. I'm not trying GO keyboard anymore, delete, delete, delete.
This used to be an amazing App. I've had it since its inception. But with recent updates, it stops responding more often than not. I fixed the problem by downgrading, but I shouldn't have to do that. I will update my review once the bugs are fixed. 🤷♀️
This is a really good keyboard app one of my faves, but gif havent been working for a while now, they will not show or post in the conversation although you can still see them in your recent gif selection, but they wont post from there either. I hope this problem can be fixed in the next update ...smh i really like using gif Will change my rate to 5 starts if fixed....if not i'll have to uninstall and use another keyborad app
i love this app and the freedom to choose the skin from the many options. my only gripe is the inability to store these apps and skins on my sd card as it takes up unnecessary space in my phone. i don't like having no choice of storage for any app i use. this change would have me rating the app 5 stars
Unable to Download themes. I just got a new phone and I was hoping to download the crystal memories theme I had on my previous phone. I was able to get it without the VIP. However, I am currently unable to download that same theme. Most of the other free themes are either gaudy or ugly so I think I'll make my own, or try a different app. Thanks.
Better choice, features, than all others i've tried. Customizable without going overboard and having way too many features for you to even try. The arrow buttons allowing the user to move the cursor in and out of every word, space, and paragraph, like a motorcyclist moving in n out of rush hour traffic, was the function that kept me reinstalling the app thru the years, with every new device ive owned.
