GO Weather Forecast & Widgets

When it works it works great. I've been using this since 2014. Recently it just keeps freezing as it's used as a widget on my home screen. Clock will be frozen (right now it says 12:33 even though it's 4:30 pm). If you click on anything it won't open. You have to physically go in to your applications and open go widget ex to get it to work properly again. It will then freeze about an hour later again.

I love the designs of the widget. I've tried many and so far this one has the nicest widget design. BUT what I really don't like are the ANNOYING popup weather forecast notifications. They popup in the middle of what you're doing and completely INTERRUPTS the other app that you're on. I can't tell you how many times I was playing a game and my phone suddenly vibrates and a weather forecast popup comes up and makes me lose the game. Getting ready to UNINSTALL, it's not worth it.

I used to go weather for the longest time, I thought it was very intuitive and informational. But one day a mystery widget popped up on my home screen that I could not get rid of, offering to deliver me news and entertainment updates that I did not want. There was no way to get rid of the widget at all, and I found out later on that it was installed somehow through the go weather app. I'm not really cool with that, so I guess goodbye to go weather.

I paid the full price for this because I always enjoyed it. It was accurate and fun having matching skins rather than just a simple transparent backing. But it has not updated in months. It continuously reads "N/A" every time. I want my money back for this! And I'm extremely unhappy that my email about it has been ignored!

So good. I am just getting familiar with it. I primarily wanted the wall paper functionality. UPDATE: The app now causes banner ads on the home screen. I Uninstaller it and the ads are gone. Too bad, I really liked the app. Now I'm not interested. The banner ads block my selection and I have to wait for the ad to go away. Bummer and annoying.

I'm not sure what's happening but ever since I updated my Galaxy Note 9 to Android Pie this app and widget no longer works. No matter what I do whenever I try to apply the widget to my home screen it doesn't update, the style/skin deletes itself, and the time never changes. I've deleted the app, reinstalled, cleared cache, and it still doesn't work. I've paid for the premium ad free version and used GO apps for many years but this is just unacceptable.

nice selection of backgrounds (paid for most part) but i will not even consider paying a dime for anything here until the blatant bugs are fixed. the time on the widget always displays AM....always. And resizing does nothing....it takes upmthe block you choose but the widget stays the same size and is merely centered in the block. on my 10 inch tablet i want an app that will fill the screen not just center into it without expanding so it can be easily seen. tonight the temp refused to update.

It has stopped working correctly. Whenever I lock my phone it stops keeping the correct time and the weather does not update. I have to open the app and close it to get the widget to update the correct time and weather on my home screen every single time I unlock my phone.

This was the only clock/weather app that I use with any Android phone, but the widgets tend to freeze after the recent Android update Uninstalling and reinstalling only works temporarily in most cases, but it eventuall freezes again. Hope this helps the developers.

It was good until I had an extra side bar appearing on my edge screen with random videos and could not get rid of it! Very annoying and nothing to do with weather!! It didn't even say it came from this app until I worked it out. Uninstalled now.

This app used to be a handy utility until it caused an edge type menu to appear that caused a "flipboard" type news and media service to persistently appear on S9+, that you could eliminate. Uninstalled GoWeather Ex and annoying popup disappaeared. Recommend not to install..

Discovered a small widget installed itself on the edge of my screen that floated over my icons and that I could not remove. Clicking it would bring up some news stories and other spam. Within the widget, there was no identifier. After doing some sleuthing, I discovered this app was the culprit. Uninstalled it immediately.

Ad-free version is mostly useless, as in - gives the same information as built-in weather app. For anything else, like precipitation, it asks for money. No, thanks. Old version was a good app. This one is not. Avoid.

Ok guys. The app doesn't usually update from the homescreen it's because your phone is putting it to sleep. To resolve this, go to Settings, Device care, Battery and then click the 3 dots in the upper right corner and click settings then click Sleeping apps. Make sure GoWeatherEx isn't there. Problem Solved.

I cannot download the apps to receive the 'go pro widgets' for free. By downloading a few/several apps you don't need to pay for a widget that is not free. Some of the widgets don't work. The weather is not accurate!!! Apart from these issues I do like the app... 👍

this app works fine in the beginning but then it'll start giving you pop ups add pop ups very disturbing very unwelcome they pop up out of nowhere it's not worth it it gets zero Stars if it wasn't for the pop ups it would be okay on Hay I had to install another app just to find out who was sending me the pop ups why not just let us know from the beginning this is why I'm letting everybody know if you like pop-ups over other apps pop-ups that concern at that nobody cares about download this

Sneaky company , update installs side edge panel that is intrusive that opens up links to advertised or suggested sites , pops up during games other full screen apps, took a while to figure out it was this crappy company with their intrusive "weather app" , uninstall if you have the chance unless you want to have a weather app that takes over your phone for monetary reasons.

My favorite weather app. Thanks for the bug & adware fixes 💖 SADLY, IT NO LONGER WORKS ON MY S9+ due to security upgrades. It won't even let me use the 'free' feature & download another app to get it. I paid over $20 for the VIP premium upgrade 😢

Used to love this app. Then they started making me earn/buy premium multiple times. Every time I reboot my phone in fact. Now I can't even "earn" to unlock stuff individually anymore either. The option just ignores my tap, trying to force me to use cash. I'm not paying $20 every time I have to reboot my phone, sorry.

Annoying pop-up on app startup that is unnecessary. Unreasonably expensive to purchase upgrade. Doesn't update time and weather automatically. Often needs manual updates; also annoying... Not worth the 20 USD to purchase!

When it works it's ok. But randomly I open it and it shows "0" degrees and nothing in the forecast. I have to close and reopen the application 2 or 3 times

I really loved this app, especially the Kung Fu Panda skin and animations, until 2 days ago it installed a video widgit on my home screen that I can't get rid of. If someone can a) explain why it was installed and b) tell me how to get rid of it, I will change my rating. Otherwise I will have to uninstall it.

weather and clock widget are not coming on home screen and working. although i love them. before it was working about a year ago. but now it shows the option as online or local. but it does not stick on home screen even if online is clicked to apply

Everything go use to be great when I got my first android in '10 on my Samsung Vibrant, but now on my Note 9, I get a window that says for an older version and it never updates and is always wrong. Which tells me no one is taking care of things on the other end. Uninstalled

Pages keep going blank, then I have to "force stop" the app & open it again to get the info to show. Also, custom widget skins do not work. Download them & nothing happens.

App keeps covering screen and unable to disable this feature. and notifications every 10 mins. Apart from that a good app.

After using this app for years i am uninstalling it. The time freezes constantly. Restarting the device and multiple installs to fix this did not work.

The weather widget stopped working citing network issues despite availability of 4G network. There is no update yet and currently, I can't view weather update on my Samsung A20. It's very frustrating
