GOM Player

Disgusting video player. I installed it because I used a GOM player on a Windows PC that was an awesome video player but the android one was disgusting. backwards seek does not work, subtitles stack with video seek. Subtitles sync does not work. I just found those bugs and uninstalled the app, maybe there were lots of bugs like those. The user interface is also very poor. I don't know why the developer not fixing those issues. This app needs a fresh stable release.

Only complaint I have are the ads that pop up full screen whenever you're switching between folders. Other than that it's a really smooth and easy to use video player

Make pausing media easy no need to screenshot by clicking on the both sides of screen. Make some useful changes. Also it can't play x265 smoothly

It doesn't read an mts file... I I needed a media player that specifically reads mts and I am disappointed I didn't find it in GOM.

I don't use Google or Dropbox, and there was no OneDrive support as of yet. There were ads, and I had hoped to discover some way to pay for no ads, but there was no way for no ads. This app has great potential, and I'll keep an eye out for when this app gets OneDrive cloud support and a pro version upgrade! I've added this to my wishlist — keep up the good work!

I have been using Gom player for a long time. I have been very satisfied with this program. However one thing is very inconvient at the moment. The "pause" funtion should work like YouTube thing. When I click the screen, it doesn't stop. Whenever I want to pause it, I have to click the pause button. Please make it like Youtube screen. Thanks!

this is the best VDO player app that i've ever used because it can fix the control bar on the screen that allow me to play/pause and go backward/forward very easy. I use GOM for studying the Lecture class. oh but i have one complain when i play .wmv file , going backward and forward is not smooth sometime it's stay on the same time so i have to tap backward many time for reaching the time i want to go back but it's very very good on .mp4 so i really love it: )))

Worked great and one of the best players out there. But unfortunately after a few days of usage, i could no longer view any subtitles even after i loaded them correctly. I even downloaded from multiple sources on the assumption tha the subtitle file was corrupted but it still didn't work in GOM despite working in other players.

All in all an absolute joy to have this app, way better than MX player. The only issue i have from giving it 5 stars is that the volume button is random in that when i try to adjust the volume it simply chooses to either go to the full max or go down when i swipe up. Fix this and it's 5 stars for you guys. P.S. Please don't try to fix anything else they work just fine, dont go and spoil a perfectly good product.

This is the best video Player on android My favorite feature is Double tap to screenshot i really like that also we can change Aspect ratio , customize subtitles and many more. However there's a bug , subtitles won't show in some videos that includes subtitle in it, i try to play in gom pc and it show the sub but when play in gom android it won't show, hope it will fix soon

I had decided to keep just one player in my phone, something like an all rounder, I have used Gom since years and recommended people both in my phone and Pc. But the android version is now full of unremovable ads. And the Gom player plus for pc UI design is so bad that it makes the free version look better and user friendly. Don't force me to switch to Pot player in pc and MX player in android.

The options and the design are impressive but it appears to be buggy when you try to change the volume through gestures. It bumps to 150% and becomes too loud. It doesn't match the real media volume of the device.

The ads are horrendous. I am a Paid Gom Player customer for pc. And it's one of the players I recommend to everyone and my main media player. But there should have been an option to remove ads at least for paying customers. In this state the Android app is sadly not preferable comparing to other competition out there.

it's slow, with a GUI which is hard for the user to control. you are going for the pulldown menu while watching a movie and it moves the time forward and backward which screws up playback. then a blank screen and it takes like forever to resume playing. i specifically dont like getting distracted while watching a movie.

I've been using Gom Player for years on my laptop. It was great seeing it available for my Android. The option to switch between languages for dual audio vids is one of the many features that originally drew me to it. Best player out there.

Gomplayer plus on pc was 5/5 stars, but i have to give 4/5 on android, because there very few thing u can change on setting, i mean not so advance on settings option, also the pretty big deal is no HW+ option, i wish in next update there an option to make HW+/SW option from the start, so we don't have to change encoder everytime we play the video, and there no autoplay for next video, the interface are very good

It's a gud app. Please add buttons to increase and decrease playback speed on the sides of skipping buttons. With a varied value from -0.5 to 2.5 with variation of 0.1 with each click. that will be really helpful in watching long videos.

Easily the best player on the market. VLC is ok, but Gom has a better interface. I cant stream Drive videos, but I suspect this is a google problem as I can download file and play it inside GOM and the other clouds works. I wish google would at least require a password request, this is a security loophole...again..not Gom's fault and for people who dont mind, this is a simple as pie way to connect to your clouds and watch videos. This app offers on the fly 2-d to 3d. Awesome. Trusted App.

Great player been using it on windows for a good few years now along with the gom media player as for the android version just as good great support for a wide range of video formats with perfect playback of 4k video files and higher if. You have android TV box would highly recommend using this to play moives of the device a usb

I've had gom for years and years and on PC the advertisements are perfect there on the side or in the side bars but here you have to click them to move past the screen. now they're introducing audio advertisements. Aunt from complete silence to some crazy advertisement screaming at me every time I went to a new video. Will be deleting and going to another sorry GOM you blew it. Way to sell out 😫

It's quite a great n efficient app...but I'm disappointed with the fact that it can't support mkv files. If your looking for an app which plays all video formats including mkv files, u definitely wouldn't want to consider GOM Player. Asides it's got other great features but all I can rate u guys is a 4 🌟 nothing more. U'll get a 5 🌟from me when u do some improvements on it

No option to cast to Android TV set. Edit: Developer talks about "Drive sharing service". No idea what this means. I'm talking about casting the video to ChromeCast or to Android TV. The app doesn't offer a button to do it.

Too invasive full screen ads. Most people can tolerate watching ads on some part of the screen but not the ads take over the whole screen and u have to wait for 20 second. Want to try this app but straight away i uninstall it.

30 seconds of ads before being able to use it? Ads on the splash screen fine, but forced to watch annoying video with obnoxious ad sounds? Nope. Nothing to see here folks, find another app. Sad because this WAS one of my favorites. No longer.

when i watched a movie, every 10-15 minutes i checked wa/ig/other apps. then i go back to gom player, and the movie restarted. even the brightness setting. ok maybe i made a mistake but then it repeated again. that's why i uninstall it.
