Absolutely useless, I just keep getting a pop up saying my benefits can't be determined, call or log out, this despite the fact I paid for 3 years of roadside assistance. And if by chance you do get in, which only happened when I disabled wifi, you can only add cars, etc. You can't add motorcycles to your vehicles list.
The app has never been stellar, but when I needed it most (locked out of my RV) it said my membership had expired. I checked the GS website and I was current. So I uninstalled the app and re-installed it. Again I could not log into the app. The app offered a toll-free number for me to call which was answered by Allstate road service. They knew nothing about Good Sam. Why would they have an app that does not work in Google Play and reverts to a competitor? Sad.
Useless app! Reinstalled several times. However, it keeps prompting me that it cannot determine my roadside benefits, logout or call. I have a better chance of logging and viewing my account at their website than this app. update 7/25/19. Installed the update, but same result. Deleted app and reinstalled, but same result. Still useless.
Update 7/28/19..The app is junk. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, and this member can't be found in the system. Uninstalling for good.....Original review....I haven't had to use the app yet for assistance, but the Add Vehicle section doesn't work properly. It allowed me to add a passenger vehicle but not the motorhome or motorcycle. It's probably not a big deal because the info is on file with Good Sam, just an incomplete Android app.
Is anybody going to fix the bug in this app ? It used to work fine until one day I go to use it after renewal to make sure it works as I already have a wallet full of cards now and did not want another. It goes thru fine and then it has a popup that says it can't determine my roadside benefits and either log out or call. Is there any help to fix this ?
Used app to get a tow. App never updated so we didnt know the tow truck was there while we went to find a restroom. Tow truck left, no call from anyone. We then had to wait again. Service center had 3 people calling us at the same time after we called to complain about tow not showing yet. Then the tow service calls us to tell is they are on the way. If they had our number why not call when you arrive if you dont see anyone. All the while the app is showing a 40 minute ETA. Moral of the story, this app doesnt update the ETA correctly so do not depend on it.
Worthless App. First, it could not find member. Then, after a few days it could not determine benifits even though it seems to finally have found member. Membership number does no good. Does not store the information and you have to retype everything everytime you open it. Don't bother installing it, just call customer service first and instead because you're going to have to anyway.
Keeps telling me that, "We are unable to determine your roadside benefits. Call customer service so they can help me." Why have an app is it's not going to work? Another poster started they'd have a better chance using Good Sam website, but it's out of commission too, was told by customer service to just call in my request. I asked, why do they have a website or mobile app if neither works? and his response was you can always call for help. Complete waste of time!!!
Just downloaded it and it won't let me add my motorhome even though I am a Good Sam Roadside Assistance member. When I go to try to add a vehicle, it does not even show a 4runner when I put in vehicle type as a Toyota??! it has been about 3 months since i first wrote this review and nothing has been corrected??? and by the way you reply to each person who tells you you have problem, with the exack same response!
I am member of the Good Sam Roadside Assistance I put the app on my Note 9 and it will not work. I don't know what the heck is going on but it says that they can't find my membership number which is crazy, Because I do have an account and I put the app on my wife's phone on it work. Every time I put my information in it says that they can't seem to find the the members number. This is a terrible app. Developers you see how many stars this app has and what have you done? Are you guys trying to help us or screw us?
Often kicks me out before I even get to login point. Must have your member number every time to login- website allows you to pick user name and password but then you can't use it with app. App can't find my info and tells me to call or logout. Need to carry my member card to be able to login so why do I need the app that only gives me the number that is on the card? Worthless.
-edit- I dont appreciate the BS auto response from the company. I dont need to send a damn email! READ ALL THE REVIEWS HERE AND TAKE THEM SERIOUSLY THEY SAY THE SAME THING! DO!!!! YOUR!!!! JOB!!!!!!!!!!!! I am registered on the web, but this app is useless. After I successfully enter my registration info, I'm given a welcome message. The next screen loads quickly, greying out the rest of the screen, and says it can cannot confirm my membership.
Great app, no issues signing in and finding me, you do have to have your online profile set up first and then all the information had to match (names, numbers, etc.) and the it worked like a champ!
They use AllState. They helped me the first 3 times, then evidently I'm done. There's been no coverage since. Paid for 6 years up front. I think this is fraudulent. As others have said, the app is not usable. Good Sam has become nothing but a scam. Very sad.
App does not work. installed and reinstalled several times still does not work. useless. response from good sam, too bad you can cancel and I can do it now.
Can't use the app. Ordered service a couple of months ago and it still shows up in the app. Uninstalled and reinstalled and it is still there. No way to clear it out. Had to call the 800 number to get service yesterday.
Horrible. Just plain useless. Can't even log in with accurate log in info. Just keeps telling me my account is expired, which it isn't, or it can't find my info at all.
App is garbage. It cannot locate my info. Customer service told me to just keep trying to enter my info and it will work eventually. I have better things to do. They should spend more time fixing the app and less time commenting on these reviews.
App does not work. I can log into my account on line, but not the app. When I call, associate says that he can't locate my account!!!
Downloaded. Didn't work. Called customer service. Told app doesn't work and call on phone if need assistance. Uninstalled. Hope this saves you time and effort, which Good Sam is unconcerned about.
Good company but broken app! Still says it can't find member when info added. I called customer service and was told to delete the app and reinstall, which had no effect. I am happy Good Sam, but not the app.
Despite what it says in the app description about providing services in Canada, the app itself says "service is not available in your country". (No, I do not use VPN.) USELESS.
App is a total failure at least in my case. When I try to get it set up it fails to recognize my number. I have used Roadside Assistanc twice but only by phone.
I downloaded the app. It would not recognize my membership number. I called GS. The unhelpful operators just told me to wait for it to work. I deleted the app and am considering going back to AAA.

Kind of disappointed in the app. The only reason I downloaded the app was to support my RV Roadside Assistance plan. The app does do not support RV Roadside Assistance.

This app cannot find me in their system despite repeated installations. The rep however was successful on his iPhone. Android problem?
I used the app once for a tow a few months ago and just try to use it again and it's still stuck on the last tow. No way for me to get to a home screen or log out. And when I try to cancel the service it says there's a technical difficulty. So I completely uninstalled and reinstalled and it's the same exact thing 😠
