The app crashes often, has things in unobvious places, and when I've had to report issues which is far too often, the text box has black text on black background so I can't see what I'm writing. This is an issue with the app not being compatible with Android but support told me just to turn off Night Light. All of my other apps work with it, including this one right now. I have visual and other sensory disabilities and they told me to turn off my phone's adaptive services 🥴🥴🥴

Unfortunately there is something terribly wrong with the functionality of their app over the last month (at least for me). Regardless of cell service/wifi I cannot get menus/options to load and only see loading images or "unable to load, retry". When I click into a restaurant I see a black screen or "unable to load" message. These malfunctions happen every time, there are no exceptions. And now the website only shows me Mediterranean options, nothing else. I've redownloaded it many times.

If you get Gubhub+ not bad if your going to order a full meal, or anything above a certain cost limit. However just try to get a single drink, or a single item and "Free" delivery I'd sorta out the window, tested it for 4 different GH+ places with varying order sizes. If you have the money for it its a great app tho, that's why it gets 3/5. Just when you are looking for a quick fix when you can't leave work, and need to save money not really the way to go...

Orders get canceled HOURS after placement and if you choose to cancel before it does it on its own, you will be fined. My latest [shady] encounter involved a courier stating that someone else picked up my order and asked me to cancel it on my end. I contacted Support but the courier kept calling for me to cancel it. Out of all the incidents I've experienced, they have only offered $5 off a delivery, once. Definitely not the app for deliveries.

Many issues with this service. Very frequently when you place an order it does not go through, and in many instances I arrived to pick up my food and the restaurant was closed despite GrubHub seemingly placing the order successfully. Also, I frequently receive notifications for promo deals that seem to disappear or fail to apply correctly. There are still several good promos but I no longer feel it's worth using this app

The interface is awful. Crowded design on the main page makes it hard to navigate fast. Search feature doesn't work well if you do something broad like "brunch". The "rating" is primarily for the restaurant but the app prompts you about the place and the delivery drive, so that seems inaccurate. Not very easy to get recourse for messed up orders. There are better apps out there and ordering directly from the restaurant is almost half the price and you actually get your food.

The app is buggy. In the process of ordering a meal you may get stuck on one screen because it says loading but in reality it's not loading. Also, sometimes it says that the meal you're looking for is unavailable but when you close the app and do it again that same meal that was unavailable becomes available within seconds. Super inconsistent and unreliable app.

Not the drivers fault, but I usually have to call and guide them to my house. I even put very specific driving notes on my account. There is a street with a similar name very close to mine and the app always guides them to the wrong street. I tried reaching out to customer service to see if a internal note can be added to my address. No help there.

I placed an order, then used the "Change Order" feature while the restaurant was still making the order to increase the tip from $6 to $8. Shortly after the 1st order was delivered, I got a text that a 2nd order was on the way!!! I immediately contacted them, but by the time they finished "looking into it," the 2nd order was already delivered and they said I had to pay for both orders!! I am only one woman and threw away most of the food. It was the exact same order twice, other than the diffe

Bad, inefficient, broken logistics, for a companys main purpose is logistics. It would be a great service if you like to watch your food go on 20 minutes in the wrong direction and then arrive late, cold and worthless for the ridiculous charges. It's easier, faster, and MUCH cheaper to just go out and get it yourself. Atleast, then it will be warm.

There is a very good reason why I switched to using Doordash. If I didn't have a gift card I would have never gone back. Orders NEVER arrive on time. I waited 2 hrs 4 food after being assured if I canceled my original order & ordered at a new place that it wouldn't be delayed, but it was. Customer service is a joke. Doordash would have given me credits, not a discount. Took 3 tries with customer service for them to actually look into the issue which was a lack of drivers. App is hard to navigate

I applied for the free trial of the premium membership but was unable to place an order. I assumed it was something wrong with my payment and found that I had been Charged the monthly fee. I had to physically look up how to contact a rep, and was told that my account was under review? I was told that a team would review it and I MAY get a refund, but there's no timeframe. I did not receive any kind of notice that anything was wrong with my account, and had to dig myself. Not worth the hassle!

Fine app with decent selection, but I hate that I can't turn off ad notifications but keep delivery updates. The app only has one notification setting so turning off ads also means turning off delivery updates. Sorry, but if it's a choice between getting hit with multiple ads per day in my notifications (with sound), or just using the competitors apps which do allow you to turn off ads while keeping delivery updates... that's an easy decision. Actually the worst UI of ANY app on my phone. So frustrating and unintuitive if it wasn't the only way to get the hotel restaurants to do room service I'd never, ever, and I mean EVER use this terrible app again. I look forward to my vacation being over so I can uninstall the app as fast as possible and put this actually angering pos (piece of software *wink wink*) behind me. If you have a choice, don't use them. Doordash and even Uber eats are cheaper and better by miles.

Pretty shifty app. They charge a delivery fee AND a service fee AND they artificially inflate the prices. With all the extra fees, a good rule of thumb it to expect to pay a little under twice as much as it would cost if you bought in person. They do have a guarantee though so if yoy find another service that charges less, they give you the difference. Because they add on so many extra fees, you shoud ALWAYS double check. Generally, this app has more options than others, so that's good.

App made me put in my cars 3 separate times and kept deleting it instead of saving it. It also offered and told me that it signed me up for a 30-day trial of GB+, and is now telling me that I don't have a trial and I have to pay to get the free delivery. After telling me an exact date to cancel it by so I don't get charged, but now there isn't a button to cancel with because it's saying I have to pay the membership fee. Fix your app

I love the concept, but the execution seems to be lacking. There is absolutely no quality control for the drivers. Sometimes it goes well, a lot of times it doesn't. It's like roughly 50/50 for me on if my order just randomly gets 30 min to an hour added to the ETA, gets delivered and the food is cold, or items are missing from the order. Sadly it's less hassle to just drive out and get your food yourself than trust the useless people this company employs for delivery.

Edit - APP no longer works. It has my address and I can see it when I look at order details then when I click the button to complete checkout it asks for my phone and address again. After typing it in and clicking to continue it just gets stuck perpetually trying to load to the next screen. I've never seen any of these screens asking for my phone and address during checkout because it is already saved. Been trying to order food for 30 minutes. Not cool.

Over the last 3 years this app has lost numerous features and options. Filtering and sorting have been almost entirely removed, and currently sorting literally doesn't do anything. The most frustrating feature removal to me, though, is distances to restaurants. Having been given a Stern Talking To by a driver for accidentally ordering somewhere 12 miles away, I don't like that being obfuscated for the sake of encouraging orders.

Too many bad experiences outweigh the good. They are quick to refund mistakes, but the cost now outweighs the convenience. My last experience translated to a cost per food item that is triple the actual cost and not enough for a meal. For that experience, I'll cook for myself and actually eat.

It's almost like refunds on orders or certain items in an order don't even work. I've only done this 3 times in the past 2 months, I get it people make mistakes it happens but the company is to blame when the refund isn't even going thru. It always says "your refund has been calculated and sent" not once have I received a payment, balance update or email notifying this actually occurred.

Horrid delivery app. Always has been. 50 percent of the time, they make you wait hours cause they can't get a driver assigned, than outright cancel the order. There's no cancel button. Only way is to call their highly incompetent customer service team. 45 percent of the time, it shows a driver picked up the order, than they allow the driver to cancel which allows is absurd. 4 percent of the time, the food is cold cause the driver takes so long. There's only a 1 percent of ok service at best.

Great idea that works wonderfully about half the time but the other half you'll get a call saying they are out of an item that you ordered or that the dasher didn't grab all the bags or something along the lines. Out of about 8 total orders placed, I've only gotten all of about 3 of them. There always seems to be an issue as opposed to ordering through the place and picking it up myself.

Increasingly greedy: the item on the menu will say "$5.00", unless you actually wanna buy it, then the price will magically climb two dollars. On top of a delivery fee, service fee, and a tip, these people are just robbing you, I'm sure quite a few people don't even notice the price increase from the menu to check out, and I'm pretty sure that's criminal.

Awful app. First of all you're charged more for the food than the restaurant. Then taxes, a service fee, a delivery fee, and then you've got to tip the driver and if you don't leave a good enough tip they won't deliver your food, and it's a huge hassle to get a refund. If you don't order enough food, they charge you a minimum order fee. Why? Who is this hurting??? They send you promo codes that don't work to lure you in and offer rewards in the app that also never work. Use if you're a masochist

Horrible experience using this app. Too inconsistent service, you will be charged less per item if you pick it up yourself, less mistakes since your only working with the restaurant vs also a third party driver AND store, less waiting, the delivery is too long on this app for stores that are within 10 miles of my house shouldnt take longer than 30/40 minutes, and the restaurants that i used to have just suddenly dissapeared, yeah no thanks anymore!
