I have to give a one star because we are unable to view our cameras using our mobile data. We made sure it was an option before buying. We got them for a business so we need to check at all times not just on wifi. Acouple other people who have access to the same cameras have no problem but it's for iPhone. If this problem gets fixed I will change my review but this is a major problem for us.
Absolutely terrible. My wifi is fast and still it buffers while watching live. The app needs fixing!!! This is affecting businesses!
Tried to play back video and the app says can't play or transfer file the phone is a Galaxy s22 ultra the app did well before the last update..
Same as other reviews, won't work unless on Wi-Fi. Update: I'm back to viewing on cellular service. I just Uninstaller the app from my phone and downloaded again, put my email and password and BAM! I'm good to go!
anyone find the fix on why app doesnt work on data cellular but works fine on wifi....I have a samsung s21 ultra android with Cricket provider(att) .....might be provider related?
This app is not opening and has a lot of problems. Please fix it for user-friendly experience.
It does not add devices very much faster, need to try 3-4 times - scan or manual both same issue. What is the program for desktop and link from browser? And there how do we login? With the same id pwd of this App?
After last update, the times are not accurate. The time for search is not the same as on the actual click time. Makes it very hard to search for something that happens when the search time is not synced. Whats the purpose of camera's if you cannot search properly. Please fix app. It's terrible now. Also doesn't always show color.
Works on WiFi not remotely. I see others have same problem. I'll return the NVR so I don't have to use this app.
Love this app. I can practically do everything from my phone! Would recommend!
App was a little tricky to understand for intial setup but works great and has many features.
Works good here, things to try: 1. Check your upload speed-both the ISP and your camera settings. Adjust your substream and remember it is per camera (if you have 8 cams at 256k ea. And you only have 512k up with DSL and try to watch all 8...wont work) 2. Wi-Fi works, Data doesn't - Some phone providers block certain ports to reduce network traffic, happened a lot in the past, some new ones still do. See if they're blocking or use a different port.
With the new updates this app is great and very easy to use.
Fix - changed default protocol 3 to protocol 2...working now. Previous problem = Stops at 19 percent and hangs. Updated app, updated NVR firmware, wifi or cell, internal or external, hangs...even upgraded my speed to 400\20...hangs and never loads. Samsung S10. Worked until about 2 weeks ago. Desktop program and browser works. Mobile app, nope.
Had to drop to one star. The app won't connect to my nvr unless I'm on wifi. It was never an issue to connect with celular until a few weeks ago. All my devices are doing the exact same thing. Unbelievable.
Works pretty well but seems to have a memory leak. The longer you use playback the slower it gets until it eventually crashes.
Can't view cameras on the app
Never loads when oping the app, and when they is a emergency this is not okay you guys better fix this now or in suing you for all the money I've put into this security for my home 1 star because even under 5G this never loads my live feed and this is constantly. I'm getting a lawyer and running your pockets dry I'm sick of opening this app just so it don't work. I've been paying for cameras for over 4 years and this has been a issue the whole time u will refund every penny watch.
The app worked fine with LG 4 in and out sometime when not home something about network. Now ive upgraded to a LG 6 and cant get the app to work at all. Advice
Keeps crashing- when try to access live view, it gives error message, error 19 and then sometimes 151 and 153. Any idea what needs to be done?
Blurred cameras after the update. It was working well, but my one plus 2 phone updated to the new app of Guard Viewer and cameras are blurred and sometimes comes green resulting in not displaying my cameras . Any ideas what can I do?
Only works on home wifi using my Samsung Galaxy 21 Ultra. Cannot connect using cellular data....therefore useless
Can't connect outside my local wifi it's connected to workfor a bit on 5g but can't connect again on 5 devices please fix need to use it off-site extremely important
Good overall, need to fix a few bugs to improve it's stability.
The app was running fine on my chromebook for months.. Now the app wont even open up and if it does its running slow and choppy.. The only way I can get the app to work is by deleting the app and reinstalling it. Its only a temporary fix. When I exit the app I would have to delete it and re-download it again for it to work.
