Guitar Play - Games & Songs

The only reason I still have this app is because it makes you pay to play. It does a 3 day free trial and automatically gives you a one year subscription if you don't get the chance to cancel. This app definitely should be free with how poor quality it is. The sensitivity is messed up as it doesn't recognize when you swipe/tap when playing faster songs especially. 10/10 would not recommend.

If you want an app that is dysfunctional and has an add pop up after every click you make, then this is the app for you. It's really crappy quality. Some of the songs wont even load, you cant always strum the cords correctly and songs arent even legit. If your going to design an app, at least make it decent and not something thatll take up storage for a small amount of time

It's got a paywall of 50 or 60 bucks first of all, second the songs in it were implemented terribly and the gameplay is very slow and glitchy. I personally play the guitar and found that even if you hit the notes perfectly it sounded awfull. Pressing the buttons themselves was an awfull experience. Sometimes it wouldn't even register. Never get this absolute garbage.

Holy cow, firstly just stay away from this one. It doesn't play the whole song, the songs are just badly done covers not the original artist, playing chords barely register, and to top it all off they have the audacity to ask for 65 dollars to remove ads!!! The greed is undeniable, just buy a used copy of guitar hero to get your fix of this kind of stuff.

Keep the user experience and reality up, but way too fast to switch to pay version and too expensive at it's start. U only get to play tutorial and then u gotta pay or make a subscription to play. You can cancel a free 7 days trail any time, but not nessesarily all people remember that and still it seems like the apps purpose is to earn alot money and less focus and user sarisfaction and experience. It should be user sarisfaction leads to buying. I didnt even get to try the app!

Didn't even get to play it. It was advertised as a "free"game but the only way to continue and play is if you buy the yearly subscription to it (you get the first 3 days free then you have to pay $50 for the year). First i wouldn't have a problem if I could at least play before I do the subscription cause knowing me I will forget about the subscription and then would have to pay $50 for one I might not even like. You people are being shady asf

too costly in my opinion. It would be a great app if it was free with more ads or cheap because $90 in my currency is way too much for the limited amount of functionality in this app. not to mention the songs are minimal at best. there is only 1 song that i like so far the rest are all unknown. it would be nice if you can get more licensing for artists like Avenged Sevenfold and ozzy osborne and metallica and other known bands.

GARBAGE, right away wants you to pay $50 so you have access to all the songs or in tiny writing to the left you can continue without that. songs are terrible covers like 1/3 of the length of the song. the taps dont register half the time. also caused my phone google pixle 3a to freeze to the point i had to restart my phone.

This app is a bit different than the others ive played. I liked how it has a strumming and note plucking technique to it. However, i had difficulties in getting the app to pick up on the strumming. Ultimately i deleted it. I gave it 3 stars due to the fact that others may not have experienced the same problems i had.

This game is okay. Strumming isn't the problem. I played a little more and I found out that you just have to time it correctly. The problem is it has a paywall. No one is going to spend 40 dollars on a mobile game. If you think this will help you learn how to play the guitar, then I'll just say this now. It won't. Trust me I play the guitar. There is much more to it. The blue things that you hold down also restrict the game play and make the parts using it quite boring.

I get there's a 3 day free trial, but to advertise this as "Free" when you are required to provide credit card information and sign up for a $50 a year subscription isn't free. I also get you need to make money for adding new songs and such, but it's a kick to the balls to say it's free when it's only considered free because of a 3 day trial. Just say it's a required subscription or increase the length of the trial. This is probably cool, but this sales strategy is insulting.

This game is not free. You get a tutorial and then you have to pay 40$ after playing the app for 7 days. I recommend allowing players to have a short list of songs to play for free and many more for the 40$ edition. Ridiculous expensive to try out a game.

The concept is good. I understand you need to make money but... I have to see 3 ads per song. One before. One at the end. One when I click next. I'd suggest maybe earn coins per video and you have to pay like 5 coins to open a song... But that's the only ads maybe add a offer wall too...

Ads are places in areas that block strings, so you will literally NEVER get a 3 star rating without paying to remove ads, and will miss MANY notes. Don't waste your time. I played one song, and I'm uninstalling.

Don't download this. Its advertised as a free app but before you can even use the app you must commit to a $50 annual membership subscription. First 3 days free, but then you have to go through Google play to not be charged. Too much hassle and false advertising. I immediately Uninstalled.

cost way to much. and even after trying a few songs it doesnt strum properly and doesnt react as fast as i do. I know its not the device because i tried two other devices as well. i do not recomend it.

incomplete game with broken mechanics, good ideas but badly laid out. unresponsive play, ads and timi issue are just a few of the things, dont pay for this, its a waste of time and money at this stage

it's terrible because you wont see a second where it wont tell you to buy the frikin free trail and buy the stuff, plus I have a brand new phone and it keeps crashing and it wont let me slide down to hit all the strings, it's just terrible let's put it that way, FIX IT

Apparently clearly hasn't been updated for the s10+ as the game immediately says the game wasn't made for this display size so it may not work properly and it doesn't. Can't hit half the notes or chords, etc. Come on guys, the s10+ has been out for 4 months now!

HAHA. Yeah right, pay that much for the app when it doesn't even register the strums... I dont have any trouble with any other similar app. ALSO, Dont make it to obnoxious st rhe beginning of the app for people to buy your app. It REALLY drives people away. not worth the time to try the trial version.

Don't say free in your headings..!! it's not free in anyway as you can't play or try it even unless you set up a plan..!! plus far to much for a game you cannot try, how about you do what most developers do.. that's let us make up our minds before, or wish to purchase..!! if i could give minus 5 stars just for misusing the offer as free then i would of.. uninstalled.

Don't bother! It's not Free! Your made to sign up to the subscription which includes a 3 day trial to actually get to play it! I never went past the payment screen! Uninstalled it instead

For now, maybe latter if it is a good app i'll update. Ok only a few songs in and i try to watch an ad for a song, and guess what? You right the ad won't play says try back latter. Well started with 3 stars now down to one.game is riged they want you to pay for everything.... Don't belive me go try it for yourself. This is NOT a play game it is a pay game.ok 3 months latter and still the same thing. Your game is junk. Deleating forever..........

Actually a zero one of those apps that want all of your info before you even get to try it. Dont waste your time downloading and installing this unless you are one of those people who like to put all.of your info out for nothing ..it says something to me when you cant even try the aPp without paying first they sure must have a lot of confidence in their product if they make you pay in advance. wish I could give this game no stars and still write a review I played it for about 2 minutes (first song is house of a raising sun) and every time I get to a note where you strum multiple strings it seems to only register the first string that I hit and that's it and I have a galaxy S9. game is litterelly unplayable and the Version of the songs sound awful dont give these guys another download

It has good songs but this game has way too many ads. every time I play one song a video ad pops up and am wasting my time watching the ad waiting for it to end.

Downloaded the app cause it looks fun but it tried to get you to do a 3 day free trial fhen charge you $50 for a year after it's done. It also won't let you opt of it so it is the only way to play the game. I'm uninstalling right now

Its pretty good. It has good songs there is no room for mistakes it does not give you any room for error. I don't know if it's the touchscreen on my device or if it's the game but there seems to be a bit of a delay so it will penalize you for that.
