Always trying to connect to servers in China in the background! Author, can we please remove whatever it is that you are trying to collect? Analytics and crashlytics are fine, as long as there is an opt out option or it connects to reputable servers. What is it that you are collecting and sending to China? I just want to see my local cameras no need for any extra connections!

I have been using GW cameras for about 2 year's along with this app. If you're not familiar with setting up IP addresses and configuring routers etc., try something easier. The tech support is awesome. When I first setup my system, I used the tech support with over 3 hours of phone conversations with them. Finally got everything running including this app which is a lot better with the update. I don't have any issues with the app. I also use non GW cameras with their system, all good.

Awesome great pictures, good high quality playback but watching live video is so annoying because it pauses every 2 seconds or less then speeds up to catch up to what ever is moving then pauses again. They say to switchit to substream to watch live video but the picture quality in substream sucks big time.. Live nighttime video is worse because it looks like all the deer are floating across our lawn. You can't see their legs moving but you can see them when they stop walking.. it needs 30fps!

The App does not play the motion video when you click on motion notification message instead goes to live mode all the time defeating the purpose of the notification. notification stopped all of sudden. there are times where notifications does not happen for 4 to 5 hrs. Had to reinstall like 4 time already. only had the app for 2 days. changed from 2 star to 1 as the notification stopped. if I had a do over I will not purchase GW security system because of the APP

Sometimes doesn't connect but you have to make sure your internet is stable and keep trying until you get all information correct, I've had no problem!! Every so often I uninstall and reinstall... Not very often though...

This is "BY FAR" the best survellance app that we've ever used. If I had to complain, I'd ask that, when we put the cams on HD, it would stay there until we change it. Every time we close out, the cams come off of the HD option.

Thanks for this app, it has helped soo much!! But recently the I am unable to share videos when I used to be able to. Is there a setting to change the file format??

Works but does not allow full screen of a single camera. Does not allow rotating phone to see larger video.

Helpful and pleased with the quality of this camview, we are able to watch when we are not home, although it is being recorded we enjoy this feature as well.

Love the new UI! Much easier to use and is significantly faster than the previous. Great job!

This was a great app got my security system, not now. After the update i can't access any of my cameras

GW needs to improve instructions for their individual cameras. Many cameras have no information on how to use or adjust their cameras.

The system has to constantly be reset. I have never been able to use app while away from home.

Much improved since updates. Works everything except power and volume.

No audio from camera unless logged in as admin (permission issue). One camera disconnects about every week or so. All GW devices

Mic permission? Why do you need mic permission all of a sudden? Permission changes need to be disclosed with updates!

update on my review about the update on this app they updated it again it works real good have no complaints the new version of this app works better than ever on my phone now.

Your latest update sucks!! Half the screen is gone now with this stupid view selection of stretch, 4:3, etc. How do you get rid of it????

NVR and software are buggy. Software always loses connection.

We can never access when not at home.. constantly have to redo settings.

I love the updated version of this camera app. It works a lot better.

Could be easier to save clips.

I wish the casting option actually worked when trying it on my tv.

Easy to install and use. So far very dependable.

BUG: push notifications causing battery drain

This is the only camera I have ever used and it seems to work pretty good for me.

Ok app cannot remote start nvr through it though.
