Happy Color™ – Color by Number

Got a new phone (same brand, new model), but none of my data transfered. Good news though... According the app, I colored my first picture today, even though I actually have close to 1800 pictures done. I lost my unlimited free hints, the raccoon pack, and all the superhero packs that I paid for as well. I'm pretty disappointed. I've been contacted from you twice. The instructions didn't work the first time, yet you repeated them in the second email. Feel free to contact me a third time.

ETA: I've played this for over a year and I still love this app! I play it to relax after work or when I have free time or am waiting at an appointment. All the time! Addictive! Such a fun relaxing app! Also you aren't overwhelmed with ads! You see one when you pick your picture and then you have the option to watch an ad for help but you don't have to. So you have the option to color your whole picture uninterrupted and I seriously love it! I hope this stays true! Good job with this one!

Too many ads to go thru before new game starts, very slow and annoying. Lately there's Yahoo ads like watching a short movie that says "next" and "close". I am retired, fixed income. Can't afford to be nickel and dimed for EVERYTHING!! Please keep the ones I'm not finished with at the top so I don't keep scrolling to find them.

I was a top fan and had two years full of pictures with most achievements complete. An update was required and I could not complete it for some reason. Today it updated and I lost everything, even all I did yesterday. It makes me cry. Can I get that back? I' m quite addicted but can hardly feel good about playing today. This happened also when I purchased a new phone two years ago and lost two years. Ugh, how could this happen? If I have to start over maybe I should try another color app.

As with any game, ads are annoying. That said, this game makes it a lot less annoying. One at the beginning, one at the end. The ads are skippable after about 15 seconds. Lots of unique puzzles, and very relaxing. Some sections are very small, but zooming in usually helps to spot the missing pieces. May be my favorite color game ever. If you like art and piecing things together give it a shot.

05.05.22 This is the best coloring app available. I was having a lot of trouble with constant ads, but that no longer is a problem. I especially love the really difficult pictures, especially Art, Rare, Fantasy, and Interiors. Please keep adding more Art pictures and make them really difficult! 👍 One suggestion. Dragonfly wings are never brown or dark. Their wings are quite clear, very light in color, iridescent, or even neon. It might be a good idea to research your subjects. I do thank you.

All y'all need is automatically go to next color. All other apps that I have do that. A lot times I forget that I have to tap color before I can continue. Love the pics though. Please work on that. I received message that y'all listened and made some changes. I thought "great!". So I downloaded again. Still took me twice as long, twice the work and less enjoyment because I always forget about having to change color on my own. Two many color apps go to next color on their own. Contact me then.

I really like the updates! 💝 The default of grey checkerboard to show where colors went was very difficult for me to use. In the settings you can change it to plain grey. I did. Not automatically moving to the next color when you finished one had me looking for colors past where I could find them. That's adjustable in settings, too, so I did. Really enjoying the app.

I love the categorization and diversity in the pictures, but I have a few suggestions. I've noticed that most images have very saturated color schemes that are almost disappointing after finishing coloring. I'd love a lot more pastels or just toned down versions of the current colors. Also, I'm slightly annoyed by the scrolling for colors. For ex: I prefer to color all reds first, then oranges, greens, etc. I wish we could organize the colors in that way so I wouldn't have to search for so long.

I find the app very relaxing. If I'm not mistaken you can get rid of all ads forever for, if I remember correctly, $2.99. Best $2.99 I ever spent. Seems a small price to pay when you consider the number of ads. That said, I like the categories, but I do not like needing to spend money to progress in the game, such as purchasing a "raccoon pack" for 2.99 to get a trophy. It's not the money, it's the principle. I wonder if the next level will requiring the purchase of 2 or 3, or more special pic packs. And so on... I give the game 5 stars in spite of the con I mentioned. I really do enjoy the coloring and the very wide diversity of pictures in each category. My favorite ones are animals, birds, butterflies, marine, and nature. Thank you for a job well done.

Love this app in the paid version, but *hate* it in the ads version! It takes three times as long to complete a picture in the ads version versus the paid version. Update: I would like to see the functionality of storing colored pictures on the SD card of my phone. After about 1200 colored pictures, the app takes forever to load; I've had to clear storage twice in two and a half years, which wipes out everything I've done.

Very pretty pictures. However, but they don't advance you to the next color automatically the way others do, which is incredibly annoying and makes each pic. VERY TIME CONSUMING to finish. Also, you cannot just press on an empty cell and have it light up all of that number/color, like the others. Still, Very Pretty Pictures! 📸🌄

I wish the cleared colors would bounce to the end when they're checked off. Other than that it's pretty good. Soothing. 5/6/22 update - they took my suggestion!😁 still enjoying it. Wish there was more "simple" and more diversity on character's skin tones. I mean, fairies and personifications aren't real, so they don't need to be one skin tone for "realism" or whatever.

Even though I bought everything, including an ad-free experience, then I still have to watch the ads to get hints. And the annoying Ad/hint button keeps popping up many, many times with each drawing. I'm annoyed there's no way to fully disable the ads, even though I bought everything. Also, the ads are really bad. They blank out the screen, and they keep forcing me to open other apps many times before the ads will close.

Relaxing (and sometimes frustrating) to use. I enjoy seeing something nice as a result. At least it was until I slammed up against the dreaded "Review the FAQ". I have spent entire days installing Hyper-v , ticking boxes, finding the app not in the box to tick, etc and I am no closer to having Blue Stacks running again. Update: I found it in places other than Windows. I'm happy!

I just purchased the ability to remove ads from the game. At the price it costs it should give unlimited hints as well, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Still a good app, just a little disappointing. Would be nice if you could add a category for all the steam punk type pictures in the app. Those are some of my favorite pictures to color, but they are hard to find

Love this app! Great content, but there's one ad lately that freezes up the app on a white screen when it comes on. You have to close the app and reopen it to continue. Worst part is if it is after you finish a picture because then you don't get the option to save the picture if you go back to it since you only get the option to save it right after you finish.

I like the fact that the ads are only at the start and end of the coloring experience. There's always new pics and you can sign in with your Google account to save and access over other devices. The only down side is that you have to be aware of the fact that once you start a coloring experience you have to finish it on that device because only the finished ones are synced. If they would have a way to save the progress, it would be perfect.

Not impressed. This isn't coloring. I don't like the colors that they use. The image quality isn't that great. Overall I just don't like this method to color pictures. Or how you are filling in one color but they actually use several different colors . Also when you finish a color it should automatically select the next color for you instead of having to go down and select the color bubble yourself.

Many of the pictures are fairly intricate, and thus fun to do. I really like colouring them. The adverts, for the most part, are unobtrusive. However, because I colour 10-15 pictures, at least twice a day, I get to view a heck of a lot of adverts. So far, I have coloured more than 3200 and now it takes 15-20 seconds for the App to open, the same thing happens when closing a completed picture and going back to the main Library page. Which is somewhat irritating 🙄.

I have been using this app for MAYBE a month or two now. I've done I think like 35 of them so far. Super relaxing and if you get the right one it just pulls you in. Really smooth when it is working. For some reason I can't load a single drawing anymore. Restarted the ap, my phone, updated the ap... nothing. Still can't load any of them. Big ol bummer cause I found a few that I really wanna do.

I've had this app for years. I use to love it. But now, if I answer a text, push "skip" on a YouTube video, or hit anywhere on the screen that isn't this app, it shows an ad. It's really frustrating when you're trying to relax and you constantly need to worry about if an ad is going to open up.

Love this! Not a fan of the ads but once you figure out you need to wait a few seconds for the x to appear then they aren't a big deal. I was accidentally clicking on them in the beginning and it was a pain to get back to the picture i was working on. Just wait for the x to close the ad and you are quickly back to the fun :)

The game works well, and is fun. The ads which suddenly blast you with sound are really annoying. I can live with viewing them, but there are places where I would play,, but can't risk disturbing people around me, so I do something else instead. If there were an option to pay for an ad-free version I would purchase it.

This is such an awesome app. I love the effects, the pictures and everything about the game. But I always end up uninstalling it after coloring a few pictures because this game has live ads scrolling underneath while you're playing, and every few seconds, each time the ad scrolls, the game freezes. That makes this the most frustrating coloring game to play. I reinstall it every few months hoping this will change, but it hasn't in 2 years and is not likely to either. Very sad.

Love the coloring. However, sometimes after completing a photo, it'll pop up for there to be an ad (which is fine) but instead of an ad it just freezes on a white screen. So I have to close and reopen the app. Also if you are coloring for more than 10-15 minutes the app gets glitchy and you need to close and reopen. Otherwise it may kick you out and you have to close the app and reopen to continue.

I was hesitant to install this app because the colors were chosen for you. However, my friend recommended it and I gave it a try. Instead of thinking of the game as a paint by number, I began to look at it as a hunt and find. Totally changed my outlook. I set my own challenges... do I go in the order given, work top to bottom, in a circular pattern, or by object. I find this more rewarding than my match 3 games and I'm not restricted to their limits.

Enjoyable way to kill time with a lot of categories to choose from. Ads are not bothersome. They will play between pictures or when restarting one, and a choice to watch them during coloring or not to receive hints. My big complaint is that for some reason, it will start to slow down. It's not frozen, but it will become difficult to move around for a few minutes.
