The app needs improvement. It's definitely long over due. Or the other HK apps need to support the first edition of the Aura. The app needs to control on/off/standby, source selection, integrate volume with source, and better control of ambient light. Firmware updates. Thank you

Extremely disappointing to find that it doesn't work with the Aura Studio 2, given that it's an expensive speaker. Can't fault the speaker itself though which is superb, would be useful if the dome came off to clean inside it. But I can't rate an app that doesn't work on my product.

Very good app if your harman kardon controller is broken! The only downside is that you have to connect with Bluetooth and wait for almpst 15 minutes for the speaker to pop up. Then you have to click on it, go to the source button and click hdmi tv, and then yoy can start controlling your speaker using your phone. Oh and also i forgot to mention that this probably only happens if you have the SB26 but it still works really well!

Not a smart app. First I tried turning down the volume on my Studio 4. The creators Harmon Kardon Remote did not think that would be a useful feature so they left it out. These people are only interested in our phones and having access to our network. It does control phone volume in case you have a broken volume button and your software is messed up AND you can't reset your phone... they have that covered for you.

it's a shame a company that makes such a wonderful speaker can't even get basic app correctly. it asks you to add a device by connecting via Bluetooth but it doesn't really do anything, just sit there. the app layout and cosmetic looks like sh*

The app shows my android phone is WiFi connected (I can control the volume and bass in the app) and checked as audio out, however, sound is come from the phone, not aura. It is working fine in iPhone (bt and WiFi) but not Android (only works in bt mode, not WiFi mode).

When ever i start the app music stops on Spotify. The sound control is just to adjust sound level nothing else. When i click the settings button it shows info about the company and help and sharing the app. It should be better to share it.

tried using the Bluetooth easy setup and it keeps forcing me into connecting by Wi-Fi after connecting by bluetooth. Could never find the device on Wi-Fi even after long pressing the Wi-Fi button on an HK On studio 4. The app is useless at this point on Android 9.

It basically does not add anything new that's useful. For volume control there's already your device, so why add this app this app if it's the only thing it does. It will only eat up storage space. If only it had an equalizer function that would have been better

Hi, I have two Aura Studio 2 speakers and I installed the app but unfortunately I can't connect to any of my speakers using the app. Even when I am connected to one of the speakers the app doesn't recognize it. Don't know if it just becoz the app designed for the previous Aura Studio or it is a technical issue but i need help with that. If it's designed for the Wi-Fi version of the Aura pls update the app.

useless app, below average hardware: everytime you run the stupid, it'll take forever to connect. hardware doesn't give reading of volume level, the hdmi signal is useless on modern smart tvs (e.g. it's impossible to know volume level if you Are watching Netflix)

NO APP NEEDED TO PAIR VIA BLUETOOTH. After pairing, app still won't recognize speaker! For a 5 star speaker at their pricepoint....you would think harman kardon would make a decent app. In order to pair a new phone, you MUST reset the speaker. Plug power cord in. Turn power on. Hold bluetooth button and play button down at same time until you hear a beep. (Took about 10 seconds for me with a Galaxy S20). Go into bluetooth settings on your phone and you will see it. Click "ok to pair".

The app "works fine" but could be much better. Volume control on tablet app is fiddly (wheel to turn instead of buttons). It also cant reconnect to devices...one must quit the app (i.e. shut it down completely) and restart to reconnect.

SLOW Also if DLNA is selected it will find and control my AVR, however it can't find the music on my device, just remote servers. If DLNA is deselected it finds (very slowly) the music on my device, but, can only play it through the speaker on my device.

Don't install it, waste of time. We all been waiting HK to put out a decent app to finally adjust that terrible bass level on most HK products. This isn't the one. After two years of terrible sounds and many promises, dear HK we are still waiting.

This app was designed for Android 4. Unsurprisingly it doesn't work on my s21 running Android 12. No updates since 2018. What a bag of s***t. Last time I buy any HK kit.

Has never ever used one of the worst app ever in my life. The sound quality of the aura plus speaker is good. Should have given a 5 star but the app research and development team has just failed. Sorry for being straight forward.

Disappointing that it doesn't work with HK SB20. I uninstalled it within 1 minute. There are lots of cheap brands but they have working apps. HK could do better, hopefully.

Horrible..FINALLY got it to connect my Aura but then the app wouldn't allow me to control anything! It kept saying click start here (I did); then it rerouted to a blank Dashboard page. Gave up after 15 tries 👎

Useless app. At the beginning @2016 I used the app with my HK/Aura and worked but I tried now in 2022, said it's connected but not working at all. I'm disappointed, they said premium speaker....

Nearly nonfunctional usability coupled with two different modes of control. Just like the AVR physical remote, this is a hot mess.

What is this thing for? Ok was hoping it would be similar to Bose or Plantronics where you can firmware update and control the product. Doesn't seem to do any of that with Esquire 2.0.

supports only limited, newer HK products which they couldnt be bothered to list. Odd that i can find generic apps that at least support rudimentary functions. AVR144 is my model.

It looks like s**t but it does the job. My Harman Kardon Aura had too much bass when I played turntables. This app helped me set the subwoofer quieter, which saved me some money, because I didn't have to spend it on an equalizer anymore.

This app has the worst design possible. Dark background with dark buttons, impossible to use in the evening with dimmed lights. absolutely useless. gave 1 star to be able to write review.

This fantastic speaker used to connect to my Samsung Note 8 & S10 but stopped a few months ago & now I tried connect to my Samsung S21but also no go so can you please rectify this issue soon as possible as it be a shame to just throw such great item in the bin Ok.. 😲

Controlling the HK3770, sporatic, and maybe a bit of instructions on how to navigate the app. Streaming? You can do that with this app? How?

Is this app work for anyone? I have installed and reinstalled it several times and it quite possibly is the very worst app I have ever attempted to use. This is horrible!!
