Doesn't work on background. You must prevent the screen from shutting off (locking) for the app to work. If you accidentally hit the power button and lock the screen you'll have to restart the process over again. I've managed to hide only one of my folders.
Do not waste your time with this app! I foolishly expected this app to work and did not back them up before using the app. The app couldnt show them afterwards and could only show a cached thumbnail. Reinstalling the app cleared the cache but somehow it still shows that it has 4 photos and has blank placeholders in the UI. Tapping on them just shows an error message. Emailed these guys with the debug info and screenshot of errors but no response. Useless app. Dont lose your photos to this!
very good app for hiding material you dont want others to stumble across. like suggestive art. i hope to see it continue to improve and for $2 a year i'm glad to support it. here are some things id like to see change slideshow delay/length custom picture order remove password, in case what youre hiding isnt secret, just something you dont want in your gallery
On Android 8 LG V30, at some point I couldn't watch any video on any app (browsers, video players, streaming apps, etc). Luckily I had installed few apps lately and traced the problem to this app quickly. After uninstalling it the videos were playing again. I have no clue why this happens but maybe the developers could use this information.
Great app, not to many bells and whistles, very straight forward, easy to use. Works well for me, been using it for years. Wish it had the capability to hide apps too, but still great for multimedia!
Great app! There's a free version with practically all the basic functions. Paid version is to remove ads, plus there's additional features. What's more, the subscription fee isn't expensive at all! Free version is good enough for me!
Among all the other vaults in play store..it has the best UI & design ..but unfortunately it lacks the most important thing a privacy vault should have... It doesn't encrypt files.. And the files are still readable from file manager.. Sadly uninstalled..! Would have rated 5 stars 🌟 had it encrypted those pics & videos.. Dear developer please incorporate encryption soon.
It is a very good app. User friendly and does what it is meant to do. The only small issue I have with it is that its icon doesn't change to the calculator icon. It creates another icon in the form of a calculator but the original still remains. But nonetheless great app!
The app was working correctly and was the best, but 1 day when 1 update, all my videos,pitures,etccc,,,,, were currupted, i couldn't get them back with recovery app and software. And today when i restart my phone S10, it just uninstall itself. Its crazy, i dont know what to do now !!!,
It's been pretty good until now but my S8 got upgraded to Android 9 and it's corrupting my photos so I'm losing anything I try to hide! Thanfully they're not super important but I'm done with the app. I'm scared to unhide things before uninstalling though, in case they all get corrupted. Yikes!
⚠️ WARNING ⚠️ Don't install. It works for videos. But when you hide photos with advanced hiding, they are gone and cannot access it. May be they are uploaded to their servers without our knowledge. Developer doesn't respond to emails.
I just recently purchased the licensed version of the app because it hs the cheapest monthly fee for a month and I love the interface, but a popped up will appear that I am not a premium user. How come? I already sent an email regarding to this issue and I am hoping it will be fixed sooner.
I had used the app for quite a while but after using the "advance hide" feature it has been on an endless loop of trying to upgrade it without nothing happening. Is there a method to fix this without it deleting or corrupting the images and videos?
Sometimes when you tab out and close the galaxy it keeps the app running in the background without showing which means your vault is one click away. No security check no authentication. Otherwise a neat app which doesn't drunk your battery.
Can I ask some help? I can't restore (unhid my photos). Whenever I tried to restore them, the app has automatically ask me to enable "Advance Hiding." The thing is, to enable this, it has to be an external disc, but my phone doesn't have the sd card slot (Currently using Mi8, 128gb). Can you guys fix this problem? Can we just unhid our pic normally???
This app is crashing a lot after latest update...i had to download latest version because my S7edge was formatted..else old version of this was working smoothly...unexpectedly closing always...pls fix this..else give me old app(without update)..thanks
Perfect. No need to vault your photos in an app. The easy hide unhide is exactly what I was looking for! Saves time for not having to export pics or files to a new folder each time, like other apps! One thing would be nice though, that each folder be blurred or a generic folder icon, when the app opens.
