App would get stuck or get errors messages and won't resolve unless I switch device or wait a day. Also, there are times instead of 3 min of commercials, we would get 6 or more minutes of the same commercials during a commercial break. Some times one commercial would run 3-4 times before resuming the program. It's annoying. Otherwise, I would enjoy watching more.

This app is unusable. Lots of episodes of Ancient Aliens, which is good because they don't play it enough on TV, but the app glitches out every ad break, then you reload the app, watch the ad again, then the app crashes again. It's bad enough we have to watch so many ads, but to not even get to watch the show in between the ads, that's not fair.

Absolutely fascinating. My father would have been totally absorbed in this, as he was actively involved in many areas of the history being explored. He left us too soon, but perhaps now he has knowledge that we still lack! My only complaint is the length and frequency of the commercials being shown. Perhaps they could present one long one interlude focusing on all things they want to present, rather than frequent, repetitive interruptions. It would be much more informative!

It's free so I understand commercials, but what I don't get is if I happen to fall asleep during an episode I can't replay it. I've tried clearing the cache and data but still no such luck. I've tried replaying it and backing up the progress bar but no luck. I don't understand why, so I'll give up and close the app and change input to cable and just watch it On Demand with my Fios instead. But that's annoying and I don't understand why it happens still

Pretty good. To many ads. I would pay something to remove them. I don't have a cable plan. But have been enjoying some of the series. For a fair fee I would pay to disable them. Or at least limit them. If you try to go back or forward on the video, you gotta watch an ad. Then wait for 2-7 ads to play before you can see where your at. Plus the same ad will play twice in a row. I get your making money off it. But come on.

I really enjoy some of the programming. But during the same commercial break, you will sometimes see an advertisement for the same company two or more times in a row. Then perhaps at least one different advertisement which is then followed by another advertisement for that previously repeated company again at least one more time. It can vary from one commercial break to the next.

I appreciate that the app is free and the ads are not taxing. However, the types of ads you have and the repeated ads is unsettling. This one particular ad starts with a toddler falling and hurting herself followed by several other clips of children hurting themselves - this is an ad for a clinic. I really think you could do better at screening the types of ads for the freemium service. Thanks

stopped working correctly. Have uninstaled, re-installed, logged out of provider and back in, says all episodes unlocked, but get 0033: customer is not authorized for the content requested. In the middle of watching a season... Past 2 seasons still work, and first 2 episodes of current seasons work, but starting with Episode 3, only get this error.

4 stars. Great app. Im watchin skin walker ranch. There are some adds like, every 20 or so mins, whatever. No complaints except the ads are kinda repetitive. Im not complaining there tho. I do have ONE complaint tho, like, if im in the middle of a show, and i gotta stop to answer a text or whatever, and it leaves me away from the show for a while, i absolutly cannot stand when i open the app back up, it restarts from the begining, NOT where i left off. Please fix that and u got a perfect app💯

Far too many ads and it is very common that an ad will repeat, sometimes three times in a row. It also used to be full screen, those that want the navigation bar and not the swipe gestures are stuck seeing the navigation bar. The app needs an option to hide it.

I absolutely HATE comercials with Extreme prejudice. There are entirely TOO MANY comercals. Unless you like watching a minute and a half of programming and 3 minutes of commercials. Get rid of the comercials before people stop watching. I don't want to keep watching the comercials, it may be time to stop watching the history app. This is one of the WORST apps I have used,

Does NOT work w/ Roku click on app, buffer wheel spins for a few seconds, app closes & back 2 Roku home screen been doing this for 3 days in a row. This happens every month, then app works for a few wks. Stops loading for a day or two. Then works again for 4-6 wks. Then wont load again. Works fine on phone but doesnt work on tv thru Roku.

Although it says it can be cast from a phone it continuously asks for a provider to open new shows or play epusodes that are open. I've been having problems for the last week, missing new episodes of my favorite show. I'm logged in to the app but it continues to ask for a provider before unlocking/watching new episodes even though casting works everywhere else.

Why all of the sudden is S3 E3 of skin walker ranch locked, you didn't do the before so why start now, disappointed 😒 this is you app why do I have to reach out to fix the problem, YOU FIX IT, uninsalling app, it is not all free, u must carry a cable provider to all show that are locked, cable is a rip off. This app is horrible! If you don't finish an episode it doesn't pick up where you left off then as you're trying to find where you left off every time you forward ahead or go back it plays 5 minutes of commercials! It's completely horrible.

Need a "recently added new episodes" section to catch all new shows in one page. Comercials are mostly local. Need show to pause after comercials so when i get back from break i dont miss anything. You know, like live tv but better.. Still watch shows on both tv & app. Can not create a profile for when i dont want a tv provider anymore.

Horrible. Only way to watch shows is this garbage app since History won't get a deal with YouTube TV. Put everything behind paywalls even though there are adds. Worst money grab ever. Even when you get a unlocked episode god forbid a season you have add breaks that can repeate the same 3 commercials well over 5 times each. Not impressed, sadly love the shows so this is my only option.

I love several of the history channels shows. I wish I could could unlock more shows, many of which I've never heard of, without a subscription. I've been a follower for 10 years and hopefully 10 more! Keep up the good work!

To many commercial breaks.I don't have this from another streaming provider. I just want to see the show, not the advertisements. Don't care about what they want to sell to me or advertise, cut it out, or I will just go to a more viewer friendly app.

Way too many ads. I understand you need to make money, but ten ads before the show starts and for no reason the show skips back and have to watch ten more minutes of ads! No thanks. If I'm not worth your time, you're not worth anything. Uninstalling.

Streams exceptionally well on my pc. Ads are a bit repetitive - but being able to view some of my favorite shows without the high $$ cost of cable or satellite tv - I glady pay "the price" of watching those ads.

Enjoy the app... The adds really frustrating though. They are always the same ones over and over for the entire show, which is maddening. I also don't like that the adds glitch alot, and don't give you the option to click back to the show, which means you have to go back to the home screen, pick the show and start it again, and it always starts from the beginning, so you have to fast forward to where you left off, and it immediately makes you watch more ads.

I've had good luck with the app. I get a quality picture, synced with and no problems with freezing or having to exit out and log back in. In fact, I keep the app open on my tablet, a Samsung E series, to watch when I can. I've enjoyed being able to just lounge in bed and watch a bit of a show before going to sleep. I wish everyone was having a good experience instead of frustration.

Was great, no longer opens... I use the app occasionally and had always worked well. Watched a few episodes last week and all was well, now all of a sudden the app will not open, keeps giving an error stating: "We're having a hard time loading your shows. Check back and try again later." I have tried force stopping, uninstalling/reinstalling and restarted phone twice. According to the play store page the last update was in December so it isn't an update that broke, assuming its server related.

Enjoy watching the programs. The issue I have is if you don't have a cable provider so that you have TV, you are locked out of many programs. And also episodes and seasons. Would love to see that changed!

Love the app but WAY too many ads. Im even signed in with my Directv login and still get tons of ads. Usually leads to me simply getting annoyed and stop watching my shows. If ads went away with a paid login subscription, id use it more often.
