Homestyler - Interior Design & Decorating Ideas

It's a nice app. It helped me become more creative in the interior designing field. I really love the rendering feature. However, I really wish there were more products again. Back in 2019 there were so many products that I can choose from. Now it's limited and some have to pay. But overall, it's still a nice app that actually benefits me!

I have been designing in this app for about two years now and I have really enjoyed it until recently. The first few big changes were good however, now all of a sudden I am expected to pay a membership in order to be able to design using the same props that I have been using for free all a long. What is next homestyler? You might as well join the other design apps and add the ridiculous puzzles in order to be able to paint the walls and add furniture. Very disappointing indeed.

Hi I was actually enjoying doing the designs I still haven't figured out all the functions but for the last week all my designs are black screen so it's very difficult to design anything and it's quite frustrating I have asked to fix the problem about 4 days ago I enjoy designing whether I'm good or bad at it I just like doing it but nobody has got back to me from the homestyler team I suffer really bad from anxiety and not being able to play the game is quite sad Focus for me that's what I need

Enjoy it but not all features is in opperating AND sorry to say but I do think the older version we're better .... I struggle to do design in the new version...or it just trou me out when I am half way....😠😡🤬 Yes I must compliment you for the fabulous app ...meening older version

This app keeps getting better all the time. I love that it gives you such creative freedom. The challenges are fun and there are so many items the combinations seem almost endless.

I love this game its very life like and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg thanks great game it exactly what I've been looking for no match 3's, crosswords, find-a-words, etc just designing

Can't sign in through my Facebook account. Tried reinstalling again but nothing happened. Please fix the problem.

I've been designing with homestyler for about seven years now and it's the best of all the other design games,but recently it has a few problems here and there.overall you can design till it come out by your ears.amazing!hi,people I'm telling you from experience for ten years,this app is the best of all other apps like this.try to learn how to work this,once you get the hang of it ,you will really enjoy it,plus it's no purchasing etc. Involved ,like other apps.please give it a chance .

I was so excited about this app, as we just bought our very first home and I was excited to virtually decorate it while we wait on moving in. I don't like that it's a game type interface where you have to earn nicer furniture and accessories, and I think the instructions are extremely lacking. Also when you set up the room grid, it's very very difficult to get it accurate. I feel like I will probably delete this soon if it doesn't magically get better

I can't Pull up any rooms or do anything on my app it just keeps loading and then kicking me back out this is horrible I love this app I spend many of arrows on it some days but recently I have given up because it will not let me do anything since it has been updated please fix these problems not just for me but for all who loves this app

Great app except it keeps saving my designs without the walls and floors and when i try to do them again it says the feature is not supported

(4+yr LOYAL Homestyler Designer) This is the ONLY home design app, that I've found, that allows TONS of creative freedom. I've looked everywhere for a h design app that isn't saturated with mini games or require a stupid amount of coins to CREATE. This app is free! The devs for this app clearly care about the opinions and creativity of their designers! Keep it up devs! Can't believe it's only got 3.6 ⭐ give the devs the credit they deserve!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ At least for their years of hard work!

Great app..art..aswell training skills for designing,learning and having fun at the same time.

I have the newest phone on the market in Canada and even with its pin point accessory it is incredibly frustrating trying to get this app to fit to the dimensions of a basic room layout. When you do finally get it bang on, it doesn't matter what measurements you say the wall hight is, the furniture loads as a pancake and keeping in tradition, its frustrating as hell to move around and place appropriately. There are many many bugs to work out!

It looks like the perfect app I'm looking for but the room design feature doesn't open, it shows a white screen. Kindly look into it.

It got stuck at the logo, right after install. Deleted the apps cache... Nothing. Later edit: problem solved, works ok. I was something wrong with the server. It's not that cool compared to the desktop version... You can't access your saved projects on browser version ... I personally don't like it...it doesn't help me as i expected it will. But for a preview of the room and for changes that you might do, it's ok.

Horrible bugs and definitely not optimized performance. When you have finished styling a room, an error shows up and says to try again later. But it never does and you end up losing your whole work. On top of that, they don't have an "undo" button, a "recently used" option or a "frequently used" option either. And it would be efficient if they had a "save item" option so you don't end up scrolling through everything all over again to find what you need. Irritating program to work with but the idea behind it is brilliant. The limitations make this app a frustration rather than something incredible.

EDITED: I changed my initial rating because the problem I was experiencing at the time was apparently a glitch. I still have a few problems with items now and then, and there are occasional glitches still, but I definitely do love this app. (Note: I would give 5 stars if all the items worked all the time and if they were easier to search for, and if the scaling worked much better.)

It looks good and all from the reviews, and I'm sure I'd enjoy it. However, everytime I try to open up the app it just stays in the loading screen with the logo on it. I've erased it and downloaded it again but it's no use, it won't load. Am I supposed to wait really long because it is my first time setting up the app since I have never used it before?.. I'd give it a few more stars if I were actually able to do somerhing else rather than stare at the logo for minutes. EDIT: I was able to log in today, but I have 2 things that really annoy me. 1 ) I can't move my camera. This makes the space I have very limited and the results of my designs are mediocre and could improve by a LOT. 2 ) Not being able to place my furniture on the ground. If I drag it down to put it onto the floor, it stays up in mid-air. This also makes my rooms turn out all weird and funky looking.

When I first discovered this app, I loved it. But once I finished my design, I couldn't save it. It says "error processing request" every single time. It also randomly stops loading all the items & will only let me paint the walls and flooring. Which makes it pointless. Once all the issues are resolved, it'll be a 5 star app, for sure.

I liked the app not a lot of adds which is nice. There are a few issues im having with it though, 1) it wont let me use preset rooms, maybe a bug? Please fix it as soon as possible 2) not enough items to choose from, so it makes it hard to personalize the rooms 3) (as far as i know) you cant change the texture or color of furniture Other than that i really like this app. It is smooth and easy to scale rooms.

Love the app, but it doesn't always respond when selecting task. Such as to selecting trash or duplicate an item. I have to keep hitting it, and now the flooring and walls option isn't working all of a sudden which was working for me before and now when I select my flooring, it takes me back to my design and it doesn't show up. If I drag my finger on the spot it's like I'm doodling. Please fix.

This app is great. Superb! Would have given it 5 stars if there were wall tiles and concrete finishes for wall especially for the kitchen and bathroom decors. The kitchen decors; like the cupboards could look little bit more realistic. Lately I have not been able to see the designs that I've created, I no longer see my followers or who is following me. 😞 Could you fix this please. Other than that it's a very very great app with 90% of the decor items looking realistic. 👏👏

So far, I am unable to find a tile option for bathroom projects, and no white paint option either. My biggest issue is that once you place an item, such as tub, or tub filler, it doesn't slow you to drop it all the way to the floor. The lowest I can place them is hovering over the floor a foot or two. Furthermore, I am trying to plan an expansion. I haven't found any way to create a new floorplan aside from a limited existing library of images, using pictures, or scanning the room.

I thought it was like the PC version but was I wrong. It's more like a game to design a room then a tool to design a floor plan on the go. It wasn't what I was expecting at all. The PC version is glitchy and the catalogue is a mess and in no particular order. I can't believe it will list a cabana as an essential outdoor living item as well as tonnes of loungers but no green house, or pool. Other times when we place an item into the plan we see it from overhead view, but when we go into 3D the item is not there. Only to realize the default position of the item is 8 feet 6 inches off the ground and the default ceiling height is 8 feet 6 inches so though we can see it from above view, in 3D mode its technically on another floor or in the ceiling. 🙄 I also hate how some elements are locked. Or how it can't draw sloped walls or dormer roofs. But enough about the PC fails... this Android version is more like a game than a tool and in no way should it pretend to be anything other than casual amusement. 🙄

My old feedback: This is the best design/decor app. Works great, lots of options, fun and just awesome. UPDATE: Initially, I gave the app 5 stars. This was with the old version. Newer version is not as good. I hate redesigned rooms where you click items to add. Also, uploading the photos of empty room doesn't work: it is a glitchy feature, my mobile screen turns black and freezes. Wish they would bring back the old version.
